His prices seem too high. Have seen same for less. They are rare on Ebay but when they do show up they are still cheaper.

His prices are a bit high. That trainrobo on a card set is very, very rare. Several people made a request for a set when I was working in Japan, but I never had luck finding it anywhere (Japan, yahoo auctions Japan, or Ebay).

That Diaclone Slag is definitely way too high. I paid around $100 for mine, which I'd say is the going rate for him. Only a Diaclone Swoop is worth $350.

There are some exceptions, such as the items he has that I have not seen for sale. But generally it is too high of a price.

I'm looking for MC-13, it's the U.N.C.L.E. Megatron set. In the briefcase style box. 100% complete and unused, including the clear sheet of plastic that covers the entire toy once you open the box.

To put it frankly, the only place I have seen MIB Trainrobos is on Diaclone.net. Also the price for those seem fair, about on the high-end of the Tatakae versions. The carded version was something I was unaware of, only knew about the carded Micros.

The trainrobo are juniors, not the full size version. I think it came in 2 packs of 3 and then they were rereleased as tf juniors in a giftset and 3 boxed sets. I never seen anyone open them though.

I've been looking for the train-robo juniors for a couple years... No luck yet... If you have never seen a Diaclone Trainrobo Giftset, now that is a sight to behold..
http://www.geocities.com/futuristgroup/vdiatrains.htmlIt comes with a full set of tracks, signs, and a huge rubber playmat. I have one in MIB condition.

What would a complete MIB giftset box of the DiaClone Trainrobo set expect to go for these days?
The only reason I ask is because there is one at a store that I know of that has been collecting dust for about seven years. The price escapes me, but $400 doesn't sound that far off.

There are 2 Trainrobo giftsets, one being a recolor. But $400 doesn't sound bad, since that's almost how much a Raiden set costs.

AFAIK, the recolored Trainbots were only issued in the single boxes and never as a GS. The constructicon vehicles however were.... with many variants in terms of mold and packaging. I've seen 3 GS packaging variants for the recolored set alone. And, the original colored trucks were available with clear or opaque windshields. The recolored was never available in single packs and two mold variants exist on the recolored versions.
I have not (yet) found any mold or packaging variations on the trainbots within the diaclone line.
Thanks. -Himawari

You did if was an JP Diaclone or GiG Italian. Either one is pretty hard to come by for the real deal.
There's a Tiawanese one that a lot of people get ripped off on like this guy:

His prototypes look like creations he put together in his G1 parts bin. He has an Anime Bluestreak prototype for about $129, I think.
Yeah right. I'LL PASS.
