I'm intrigued by the "new scenes". Maybe they'll tell us what the hell happened to Snarl.

Shockwave was killed by Unicron in a scene that ended up on the cutting room floor. And please, let's just leave the second Cyclonus can of worms alone.

I don't know exactly what it is, but that picture seems pretty lifeless. Not enough shading or color saturation either, makes it look flat. I suppose I say that because of how different the style is from the illustration/coloring in TF:TM, which I much prefer.

looks to me that they tried to be so close to g1 artwise, they decided to go DW on it at the last minute. Seems to be a clear mix of old and new. Look at Kup. He is very close to his orignal designs. same with everyone 'cept magnus. Heck, arcee still has her roller kness.

Also, why won't it include the "cheeseball hairband soundtrack"?  I'm not ashamed to say it...I have it in my rotation right now.  It would be cool if they included the "The Touch" music video.

as for the different color styles

the covers are being done in this smoother, almost "painty"-ish style [a nod to the old TFTM poster(s)], and the interiors done in a cell style [to keep with the cartoons "animated" look]

Damn I like the cover for the new TF: The Movie from IDW. It looks like they are going to be very good in my humble opinion. I cant wait to pick up the first issue. I just wonder if its going to be a 3 part comic run like the old Marvel comics of TF: The Movie? How many they make I will be getting them all.
