Niiice. Now if only we get pics of Optimus, it'd be greater.
Is the Black Eva the one later on in the series that goes beserk upon activation?

wait, they gave Eva 03 the weapons that the older Kaiyodo Eva 04 toys came with?  What up with that?

Aoi, yes Eva 03 is infected by an angel and goes crazy.

I hope this line fleshes out a little beyond the Evas and the Shin Getters.  The Dougram and Dante are cool and I like some of the other designs I have seen.
Greensight
I wanted to see if any place around me got these first, but it seems I'll have to use the internet to get these guys.
Rapid Run
This line is going to get me broke. rumblecry.gif

lamuness 2005
for gaogaigar fans, there has been a few yamaguchi-style figures by kaiyodo as well in the past (which might be a little closer to what the transformer ones would be like)

http://himukai.cocolog-nifty.com/himukai/2.../_ver_4096.html

and i have chouryujin myself (got it really cheap, at around 15USD)
Hadlen Weltall
I'm surprised that Gao can actually stand up with that backpack.

meantime the boss man of Collection DX did a write up for the Dougram.

I want the two Getters, the King Gainer, and the Eva-03.
The King
I've been looking for those GaoGaiGar's.  No luck...
Taaron
Hoy hoy, guys.

BBTS just posted a few pre-orders for a couple more Revoltech toys.
Ingram Patlabor- http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail (which looks freaking sweet.)

and a few more EVAs, 00 Blue- http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail
and 01 SDCC Glow in the Dark. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail

Eva 03 fails for not including Bardial parts(long arms and traped cockpit)
The Glow in the Dark Eva Reminds me of Adam

Patlabor Ingram is made of win and awesome. clap.gif clap.gif

I saw these at Comic-Con for the first time. I didn't know they were so small....not that they are tiny. For some reason I thought they were Gi Joe Sigma 6 size.

I am waiting for the Transformer Revoltech, but that Patlabor looks sweet.
Smookimus
Woo King Gainer and now Patlabor? Sweet. This line is looking to be awesome with newer mecha coming out. *Wishes he had the time to check out Getter Robo or even Eva without the sucktastic CN edits*

Just got Dante and all interest for this line is gone!! WAY too small and unoriginal joint system. Dante is cool only because he includes so many weapons.
Shame.

Can anyone get an image of him in comparison with a DVD/PS2 game case? I'm curious as to how small they really are.

Aoi
Aquarion
they're basicly Kaiyodo's equivilent to Micromen except that they're a bit sturdier.
shajaki
hey blitz, my friend bought the eva 0 and 1 a few weeks ago and theyre pretty awsome. im just waiting until i get enough money to grab them for myself. they have more accessories than i thought they would. super posable (obviously). they could be a little more detailed, but they make up for it in other ways. id get them over the other eva figures ive seen... the lesser posable little bigger shiney ones. my friend has all of those. only thing better than the rev ones would be the soul of chogokin. holy christ those are nice. but veeerrrrryy pricey. id deffinetly go for the rev ones blitz. the price is right.
Blitz
hmmm well the black eva is a must so im at least going to get him
Realmwalker
I picked up Getter 1 about three weeks ago. The articulation is a bit wonky, but that's to be expected from Kaiyado. The detail and paint application is top-notch, and the figure is more than capable of assuming any pose you can think of. I had my doubts about the display stand at first, but it works surprisingly well.

I just wish they'd included a second Getter Tomahawk.
WarMegatron
I want the Dougram figure, well that and the Optimus Prime and the Megatron figure too.

I hope they do some the valkyries from Robotech and other stuff from the Dougram series also... BlockHead, Soltec, and the Roundhead also.

Skeggy

Frosty 2.0
Well, Kaiyodo's got them all up on the official site...
I'm vying for the Getter 3 the most... I'm actually going to get up and look for one in the hobby shops here. XD

http://www.kaiyodo.co.jp/revoltech/superrobo.html
At this point, Getter 3's second to the top.

*the Revy fig gives me nosebleeds*

How do the evas count as real robots?
MikePrime
I have a Revoltech Patlabor on order from BBTS, although it's in my "pile of loot" so I've not had it shipped yet. The Patlabors are neat, I especially like the idea of the robots using giant revolver hand guns.
Grindcore
I just got the Patlabor Ingram 1 as well as the Dougram. Both are chalk full of awesome mechy goodness!!! thumbsup1.gif thumbsup1.gif

From what I hear he's part real and super.

I've been meaning to watch that... scratchchinhmm.gif

But theres no way in hell evas are real.
Frosty 2.0
I got my hands on the Eva-03, since it was the only one I liked out of all the ones I saw.

The articulation is indeed very very strange, but Realmwalker is right.
They can indeed assume almost any pose you'd like them to.
Next on my kill list... The Griffon. It's killed my wants for all the Getters, and whichever other ones I wanted...
The problem is, I don't have the money to get them. XD
((Such is being a student)).

SEXY BLACK EVA!

Man, why can't these guys do some Gundam? I want a damn super-articulated Epyon!

mm, maybe because Kayodo works together with Takara-Tomy from time to time
and maybe because there might be a MSIA Epyon already (I wouldnt know about this one, I only buy Gundam Model kits)
Frosty 2.0
There are already two MSIA Epyons.
One that can transform, and one that can't...
Still, having some Revoltech Gundams sounds good.
And, yes, Radioactive, the Eva is indeed sexy. XD

Oy, how good are either of the MSIA Epyon? They're not as tall as these guys, right?

Anyway, I want that Black Eva. And Shin Getter... the first. So they can beat the hell out of my Optimus Prime.

MC Sounders the 13th... Evas are freakin weird. They're like, Robots, but they're not. like, organic, or something. Eh, whatever.

Can't wait for Megatron.
Grindcore
The MSIA's are similar in size to the Revoltech figures. The only thing I can see that's different are the proportions of the shoulders, chest, and lower legs (I'm comparing the LIA Ingram 1 to the Revoltech Ingram 1). I'll see if I can get side by side comparison pics later on.

Well, the MSIA's are okay if you get the Japanese releases. XD

Here's a gallery of Prime and Magnus.

And, I've found two new ones.
Patlabor Type Zero and Dangaioh.
Dangaioh's just killed my wants for the Griffon. XD

Both of them are equally impressive. Sexy, even.

There are some really good choices from this line. Black Eva is definitely a choice for me, and I want to grab some of the earlier ones. Still, each new addition is interesting.
Frosty 2.0
I'm beginning to see some evolution in the Revoltech line, and I don't know why. O_o

Sorry it took me so long to get pics, but I finally found my LiA Ingram and took side-by-side pics of it w/the Revoltech Ingram;

Side by Side in package

Fronts

Backs

Sorry, couldn't resist that last one... laughlol.gif

Anyways, there are things I like about the LiA figure (clear gels for the eye and police lamps, opening cockpit, opening gun holster), and there are things I like about the Revoltech figure (better proportions, the more anime-ish look to it, more range of poseability), but each has their own unique style. thumbsup1.gif
