I went to the Digiview home page and listed all their anime series. There is a 3rd one that sounds like it could be Transformer related...
Canon Robot?!?!?!?
Title - Solar Adventure:
Siporta, the space conqueror, has captured the only being in the universe that can stop him: the Canon Robot. Now invulnerable, he decides to conquer Earth. Meanwhile, space-traveler Arcady arrives on Earth to help the people stop Siporta. The only way to operate the Cannon Robot, he explains, is through emotional wavelength. While teaching the people of Earth to use the emotional wavelength to operate the robot, Siporta realizes that he cannot control the Canon Robot. he decides to melt it down and use the parts to create his own combat robot. Now the people of Earth are in a race against time to save Canon Robot from destruction so they invulnerable Siporta, and even if they free the robot, are they prepared to operate it? The clock is ticking.
I am going to stop at a Walmart on my way home tonight and see if I can find this thing. I have seen the others and think this is the only one that has further potential.

space thunder kids is a mix of different series, inferno is in there, but that other one defender of space or what ever is the original show.

I have to watch space thunder kids again, there was some TRON cartoon, Manzinger, old Gundam and other stuff...

Well I just searched their site for Robot and the other one besides those 2 above is "Space Transformers" which it says it has Diatron 5 in it. I think its the same one as your other topic.

There's 4 or 5 Robot related ones. And in fact the one with the yellow robot, solar adventure I might have actually bought already and never looked at it...can't wait to get home and check.
That's the one with the "Cannon Robot" that might be another unknown Diaclone related show.
Space Transformers is Diatron 5
Defenders of Space - is the one with Inferno
Space Thunder Kids is a collection of fight scenes from different shows, including inferno.

Stopped in at Walmart, NJ Marlton this morning.
This lady was putting out an entire 4 sided rack of these $1 movies. I asked her if she had this SOLAR ADVENTURE movie, and put her hand on my arm and pointed to a U-frame filled with little white boxes and told me by the end of the day she could answer that.
So tomorrow on my way to work I will check again and see if the mystery movie is there.
I did not have it at home, the same yellow robot appears on another movie which I did buy.

These movies are like bootleg toys. The same toy comes out under all sorts of different packages.

I have Solar Adventure.
From the back of the box (front having NO relevance to the feature inside) its hard to say what exactly this is. There are 3 large robots in the background, one red, one blue and one green. Honestly, I had a couple ideas of what they were...
First off was the Voltron that stacked together to make a 6 armed robot. But they look to have mouths and I am pretty sure that Voltron all had faceplates, and just don't fit the build.
Second was the lock bots, one red and one blue, but then I noticed the 3rd so there goes that.
Now, it could possibly be Reflector, maybe some weird repaint, the green one seems to have the shoulder pads, and the red one has similar features, chest has that grill look.
Possibly one of the Microchange sets, that would make the most sense.
I at least will have the fun of dwelling on this all day till I get home. Unless I ask a friend of mine to pop it in his truck so I can view it on lunch or something.
The Cover is different than the one posted earlier, it has that same robot but there are other things in the background. I’ll post picts later.
Oh, I also got another disk, called Raiders of the Galaxy. Its cover shows a Tranzor-Z looking robot, and your typical Anime humans in jumpsuits.
And that same lady, that was working on putting out all those DVD's...she's still there working on it. Think she had a stroke at one point. Wish her well.

Wow, I haven't been in here since the 'Defenders of Space' dvd topic. So, since you have seen these
dvd's by now, do you recommend them or are they total crap?

Yes. I'd recommend them for a $1.
Considering I paid $20 for 2 of them back in the day, only fair quality and one was in French...I'd say yes.
Don't expect this AWESOME new series that should have been. They are poorly done. I found that last one with Reflector to have some hysterical moments, unintentional but funny none the less.

I do have Defenders of Space, so I know the animation is crude. I'll have to look for this one now.

The guy on the cover there is "Dragonar". The anime centered around 3 mecha piloted by 3 dudes out in space.
Anyone have a full list of these $1 DVDs, along with ones from other companies?
I recently picked up one at a supermarket nearby which wasn't from a bootleg Korean anime studio... it was actually Daimos (from the Shogun Warriors line in the 70's).
