Prologue:

It was a dark, rainy night. Thunder roared in the skies as lightning accompanied his loud brother. They were making music, music with the sound of water as the background. This may be seen as a placid scene by some, or strange, dark and scary by others.
This is Island Matanceros. The plainest island of Las Cinco Muertes island chain. There are less mountains, and less forest here. That is why In-Gen bought it in 1995. At the beggining there was 2 Islands: Isla Nublar, 120 miles off the coast of Costa Rica, which was a grand park, an island of dreams. Here is where John Hammond showcased his dream. In the late 1980's, it became possible to extract the DNA off a mosquito encased in Amber. Dinosaur DNA happened to be well preserved inside of blood sucking insects from that time, so In-Gen went ahead, and investigated wether they could actually clone a dinosaur from these remains. They never stopped to think wether they should have done it. But it was successful. Then they fathomed an ingenious idea: Make an Island Getaway, with a Zoo in it; a dinosaur zoo. In 1989, while working on the park, several accidents occured. Workers were being killed mysteriously and In-Gen didn't want to disclose any details, and certain investigators went to inspect the park. John Hammond and In-Gen needed the approval of those investigators, with the goal of them endorsing the Park. The Jurassic Park. Once that task was done and it was approved safe, it would gain worldwide fame, and people would flock into its inmense, safe gates. But that wasn't the case. A horrible catastrophe occured in the Island. Dinosaurs escaped their enclosing and started killing visitors, and personnel...That dream was terminated, and In-Gen went bankrupt dealing with all the victims, loss of technology, and millions invested in it. All gone.
The second island, Isla Sorna, 207 miles off Costa Rica, and part of the mysterious chain of islands, was the island where the animals were being made. A giant factory, powered by a massive geothermal plant, made dinosaurs, and kept them safe, from everyone there. In 1995, some bizzarre occurences began to unfold. Giant lizard carcasess appeared elsewhere, outside these islands, and the Costa Rica government was doing everything possible to destroy the evidences. There was an accident involving a British family. Their little girl was bitten by small bird like lizards, and almost died of a different kind of encephalitis. But this didn't stop an avid team of researchers, which happened to include one of the people who went to the first island, traumatized by what had happened to him.
There were losses as well.
But a little known fact is, that in that same year, 1995, In-Gen did a desperate move, and bought Isla Matanceros, another island in that same chain of islands off the coast of Costa Rica. Secretive investors from all over the world, and other genetic companies joined In-Gen in another enterprise. They set up laboratories, factories, and many miles of electric fences, but the difference was that these had a fail-safe mechanism. All of these buildings were protected by inmense gun turrets, constant vigilance, and personnel dedicated to the safety of their island. It looked more like a fortress, and that is exactly what it was. GeoThermal vents are plenty in this island, and easier to obtain, therefore they had double the power, comparing it to the other islands. But it was all secret, no one knew, not even the personel's families.
But something else was being created here. Something more monstrous. Something that went back to the early drawings of John Hammond's ambitions of having custom made dinosaurs...

The night was dark, but it was lightened by the sound of rain, and lighning's power. Ephraim Corchoran was working late at night.

This was 1996, and everything was brand new, all the equipment was brand new, and there were still very few workers. Ephraim was a brilliant genetic engineer, specializing in regeneration of tissue. He had worked with humans before, but there was an incident where he treated a cancer patient, and gave him a placebo, while reconstructing the cancer inside of that patient, as an experiment. He was using T-cells, and rearranging their genes, via some extremely advanced methods, to carry out instructions that gave cell overgrowth. He was caught, naturally, and fired. But In-Gen had their eye on him, and he was employed once again.
He was on the verge of a breakthrough. Using the same methods that made Jurassic PArk infamous, he took another step forward. What would happen if two dinosaurs were...Spliced together?

Instead of using frogs, which also risked asexual reproduction, he sought to complete a Deinonychus' dna with Parasaurolophus dna. But there were some gaps still. So he went to great lengths to acquire an almost complete Deinonychus dna strand.

Using such advanced methods, he slowly began reconstructing the dinosaur whole. It took many months of trials and errors.
Until he succeeded...

He was extremely excited. What he saw, he nurtured, he fed, and he treated as his own son.

Time passed, and this...experiment had grown.

The scientific community, was not told of this, for security reasons. Yet, the Jurassic Park dream was alive again, until, one night in 1998, something happened.

The experiment had shown extremely high levels of anxiety and it became very dangerous. It also seemed to have developed heightened senses, muscular amplification at will, speed, strength and other factors. It seemed like a "super dino".
But it became intolerant of its enclosure; it would not eat, and grew increasingly violent. The scientists were afraid of going near it.
But Ephraim wasn't. He wanted to prove this creature could be smart enough to be domesticated, and since he was its creator, and had been with it since it was a baby, thought the creature would respect and not attack him.

But it was too late. The creature had torn his enclosure apart, and killed two workers almost inmediatly. Ephraim sought to calm it down, but the monster was wreaking havoc throughout the factory, and started killing anything that came close to it viciously. The survivors followed the mosnter through a trail of blood. One scientist proposed wether to turn the turrets on, and place the island in lockdown, but Ephraim refused.
But he met his creation once again, and they looked each other in the eyes, but Ephraim was knocked onto the ground...

The turrets were activated, and 5 surrounded the mosnter, and they dumped continous fire on the animal, which was torn apart by the huge bullets.

It lay dead, next to 24 human beings...Spread all over the island.

In-Gen went through great effort to hide this incident, and the project continued.

They paid nothing to the victim's families.

They never bothered to care.

And the project continued.

They had decided to study the habits, and heightened capabilities of each new creation. They figured that they would make a fortune with this, and more of the secret investors poured their money onto this project. New drafts emerged, such as making these animals for the military, or sell them as guard animals.

They thought they could also create something to control these creatures, to order them to do things. Not just domesticate them, but also to manipulate them.

They could fail a thousand times, but the results were astounding...

They were pleased, and so were the investors.

With everyone happy, what could go wrong?
Me Grimlock No Bozo, Me King
that one of those JP Mutant dinosaur toys?
Dinobot Leader
Yes
Those are the focus of this story. Its a Diorama Story. Otherwise known as a DioStory. So, I just took JP to the next level.
Lord Madhammer
You should have called it a DinoStory.
