It's a model kit, right? How tall is it, and is it already painted? Does it need assembly?

You appear to be missing JafCon9 G1 Convoy. I also can't see Convoy Jr. in the 3-pack with Chromedome Jr. and Fortress Maximus Jr.  I also cannot see New Year Special Convoy or Hasbro reissue Optimus Prime. As crap as the Hasbro reissue is, I would say it would be essential for a comprehensively complete collection of all things Optimus Prime. For that matter, you also appear to be missing RiD Prime (not SFC)... this is just judging from your photos. Also, do you have G2 Prime with the light blue head, fists and legs? (and G2 logo stamped on the back of one leg)

And if you want to compete with collectors of the Prime mould (and believe me, they're out there), you'll need to amass yourself a collection of Diaclone Battle Convoys and Powered Convoys... I suppose it depends on whether or not your definition of a "perfect" Prime collection includes pre-TFs.

I love the OP obsession.  I hope mine never goes that far, or I would have to expand my room from office sized to football stadium sized!  Do you keep all of them out on display all the time?  Even with my small collection, I cannot do that.  Just curious.

i have my open ones on display but not all of them.

i want to make a display case but i just don't have the room and time right now.
I'll take pics of my room in the future so you all can see my loose collection since i buy 2/3 of almost everything.

HEY!!!  Bootlegs represent the nostalgia of my poor childhood so I'll never stop! They are meaningful to me. And last time I checked, somebody has that white oversized G2 Prime KO as well. 1

Very nice stuff UP. I just couldn't do anymore prototypes.  I hate looking at something that should have came with packaging.

i got that big white prime in brain toys thinking it was real!
but that was a mistake i regret cause i spend over 200 bucks on it.

i understand but we need to stop supporting them because they are hurting transformers.  but thats what i think each to his own but you still have a awesome prime collection

ultraprime is absolutely right, they do hurt the real Transformers.

Besides, real collectors ought to go for the real deal and accept no false substitute IMHO.

I just don't feel that way when Takara & Hasbro overkill us with constant remolds and repaints.

i know tak/has can be real some jarks at times but we have to deal with their crap because they are the ones who are making our transformers for us.

but hey you like bootlegs go ahead and support them.

If there's one figure I would like to own each and every version of, it's that Primal mold. (Still really regret not bidding on that prototype on e-bay recently. Can tell you that I very likely would've outbid you if I had placed a bid.)

It would just get too expensive to get all the Lucky Draw's from that mold, so I've given ups that wish for completion.


But I really envy you for getting Bom Bom Primal. Must've been really expensive.

Now you just need the other two Lucky Draw versions of that mold: gold and red.

i paid 2,000.00 for bom bom convoy and 220.oo USD for prototype
believe it or not 2000 for bom bom was a deal.
bom bom is going over 4000 USD

I didn't even knew the red and gold existed until recently (had guessed the existence of the gold one of course). Hope to see some pics of those someday so I know what color to paint a regular Primal which I will buy off e-bay for a few bucks 


I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a TF. (Was also the whole reason I didn't bid on that prototype Primal, but when I was going through my desk later that day, I found some $ 500 which I got on my birthdays the last years and which I didn't want to spend on just anything, it had to special. When I found it, I realized that that prototype Primal could've very well been that special thing. Ah well, nothing lost. Maybe next time.)

Cool you got that odd G1 Statue that's been on Yahoo Japan for ages.  What is it actually like, it looked pretty cool from what I saw.

And as you have the "Alternative boxed Bom-Bom Convoy" how about adding the Alternative Boxed Burning Convoy?  I'm sure ours doesn't have that sticker .. then again he's not been in his box since he came.

Actually anyone else have a Burning Convoy?  If so did there have a "red gue" on him, so it came off on your hands

my burning convoy had a like a powdor on it, like red powdor which i thought it was strange. i still think it has it since i just open to see something.
the G1 statue is a awesome piece to have. its like a gundam model and its about 5in tall and its loooks way better than my metalforce prime.
any pics you need let me know and i now own 3 diaclone battle convoys
