Everyone loves the End Cap for selling and trading. Its a good place to hook up with fellow TFans members and we want to keep it that way without upsetting our fellow members and sponsors. We have defined a set of Terms & Conditions for posting in the End Cap that we require everyone who posts here to follow. Please read them BEFORE you post anything.
TFans.com Assumes No Responsibility
Buy, trade and sell at your risk. TFans.com can under no circumstances mitigate a sale or other deals made here in the End Cap or anywhere else on the site. All transactions are the responsibility of the parties involved. TFans.com Assumes No Responsibility.
We highly recommend checking the Feedback Forum for references before you pay for anything. It is also recommend that you consider an escrow deal and/or use Pay Pal to make your payment as these services can offer some modest level of protection against total fraud.
All Postings Must Be Honest, Legal and Safe
We will ask that everyone posting here do so with honest, legal and safe intentions. Do not post with the intention of stealing someones money. Do not post here with items to sell that are not as they are described - be it condition or authenticity. Do not post items for sale that offer drugs, pornography, dangerous substances or anything else deemed illegal.
Sell Your Personal Items ONLY
Things offered for sale on the End Cap should be from your personal collection. This is not a tool to sell things with the intention to profit from them. Items posted are meant to sell or trade with another person NOT to generate sales solely for monetary gain.
No Quantity Sale Items
Do not offer new items for sale in quantity. You can NOT offer sales for many of the same product or products. The rare cases where someone had 2 of one thing is fine. A list items with more than 2 or 3 of each item for sale is not okay.
No Pre-Orders or Just Released Items
All items are meant for sale or trade from your collection. Therefore we cannot allow posts offering to take payment for pre-orders or just released items. Most of all, please refrain from scalping of new toys. We know this is fuzzy and will rely on members to be reasonable about this.
No Toy Store or Commercial Postings
The End Cap is for collector to collector exchanges only. Posting by toy retailers or other commercial organizations is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to:
- Posting with a user name that has a name meant to represent or promote an online store.
- Posting of links about store promotions or their auctions on eBay.
- Posting responses in the End Cap repeatedly with highly visible store advertising emedded in the post and/or its signature.
No Flaming of End Cap Sellers and Other Shops
Everyone is expected to conduct themselves in a mature manner when posting and replying to items for sale or trade in the End Cap. It is not okay to flame others for what they selling, the price they are asking or anything else that specific to their offerings. Likewise, it not okay to use the End Cap as a platform to defame or slander other online retailers.
Post Your Feedback!
Please post in the Feedback Forum for every transaction you have in the End Cap. Post only for the sellers you have done business with. Any attempts to abuse the End Cap or the Feedback Forum will results in warnings and or suspension of your account.
You Agree To These Terms
Your post in the End Cap means your agree to these terms and conditions defined here within. You are responsible for knowing and following these terms as part of your agreement to use this site. TFans.com can and will edit or delete posts at its sole discretion that is feels infringe on these terms.
If only more people would use the feedback. I'd give plenty but no one gives back.

I agree. The feedback forum should be used more. I give feedback whenever the transaction is complete, and I usually ask that the other party leaves feedback too, but not everyone ends up doing it, unfortunately...
I have a suggestion too. I think there should be a group buy forum. I seen this work on tfw2005 when a bunch of guys got together & got Reissue Star Convoy. it was really successful from what the guy that ran it said. He was pissed cause 2 people didn't pay though. But They got $10 off with the buy. That would save a lot of money and people looking for an item when new stuff drops.

Hey sorry, this was not meant to be a thread.

VERY Good points tho! I will talk to the gang and see what/if we can come up with to imporve things.
My question is: Why dont more people leave feedback?
That was my question I posted. I mean for one thing I don't have too many problems because Im pretty well known, but it sucks for others who really aren't known too well. I bet we'd see a lot more sales from people if we did keep up on feedbacks.
Edit- I figured this wasn't meant to be a thread but I did look at this as a chance to make suggestions with a mod and be public about it to get other influnce ideas or thoughts.

I say we have a no flake policy. If you promise to buy something from someone you do it. I can't count the number of times I was asked to hold something for someone and they flake out and come up with a lame excuse. Be people of your word.

I tend to forget to leave feedback, but I have no problem doing so if reminded... I'm sure most others are the same. If someone doesn't leave you feedback on a transaction, a friendly reminder should usually generate a quick response. Remember, unlike Ebay, this system doesn't track transactions, or remind sellers to leave feedback.

I never know what to say when I leave feedback for a buyer..... "uh, he paid for it and stuff"
since I'm not enough of a trusting soul to send something w/o receiving payment first

Why is there a ban on quantity sales? The other rules I get, but I don't see the reason behind this one.

Because how do they know that you didn't jack a Wal-Mart truck and are offloading the goods?

Because we dont allow peoeple to post and sell here with the intention of making profit. Stores cant post, so we dont allow people with cases of product to post either. We also dont want to promote people going to their local stores and cleaning out the good stuff to scalp here.

profit.....Thats not totally subjective now is it.
WIth that in mind you should just shut down the forum totally. Don't want people to make money now.

I totally get what SFC is saying.

The Endcap isn't so much a profiting thread but more of a help out thread which is fine by me. Selling an item is okay just as long as it's reasonably priced and this applies to either MISB or loose. So far from the experiences I've had with dealing in the endcap most if not all people here are reasonable when dealing loose/misb items.
The fandom basically frowns on scalping as already said and I'm happy to report I have yet to encounter anybody here doing so.
Reguarding feedback. I have no problem leaving feedback when a successful transaction ends. May be a week or so but it gets posted eventially.

I may sound dumb asking this, but, whatever. So if I was selling something and I said just cash was fine, nothing else, and then when I got the money I would send the item (cause I like to be safe and get the money first so I don't get scammed) and thats it. It would be okay? Just wanna be sure before I go posting.

I'm sure the authority didn't create Feedback for nothing. From there, you can view testimonials from other users regarding the one(s) that you're having transactions with.
Just my 2 cents, though.

You always do the money part first, yes. Though sending cash in the mail isn't something I would recommend.
