Hey. I just hung some new shelves and reset some of my collection.
I am beginning to think that my future collection shelf is going to have to be VERY big indeed. Have a lot more in storage and the shelf is rather full.
Full Version: New collection Shelf.
Here's a few more. Some of my customs on the bottom shelf, including my very first custom. A remake of G1 Prowl into a Metallic red Camaro...looking car.
Also take note the little Robot Suit Models. A couple in the back had feet problems and need the wall (one has no arms).
And of course also on there is my 1/2 a Red Skids, named Half Arse.

Thanks. For some reason, I pictured the shelves to be bigger and able to hold more. I was planning on putting my Alts on the lower shelf, and the upper 2 Diaclones and such...I greatly under estimated the space required.

The Yellow Trailbreaker fists are repro's, hence color is off.
The Marlboor and Blue Bluestreak are custom made.
The Black Sunstreaker is also a custom junker. Originally it was a painted white police version, but since I got a real one I painted it black.

special note, the Big Prowl is a custom paint and sticker job (by me of course) the normal sized prowl next to it is an oddity, has the shield on the hood that says DIACLONE, but the doors do not. Takara only copy on foot.
Reflector, Browning and Starscream are fakes, as is one of the Rumbles.
Switchblade has 2 swords, not sure where the second one came from, but I found it in a junk pile and it works very nice with him. Considering that the character I imagined would use his copter blades on his chest as swords.
That's about all I can think of to ramble on about for now...

I did a little tinkering with my Model kits. I bought a few at a time over the years, and then a year and 1/2 at least ago I found a lot of Diaclone model pieces, including about 4 or 5 incomplete suits like this. As you can see I pieced one together so it has a left arm of a different color (its also a right arm) and one with none. I decided to remove the sholder pieces and make holes in it, big enough to mount the back pack guns. Looks pretty good, better than the no armed battle droid.
Inside a couple are plastic diaclone drivers, same size as normal Headphone wearing drivers. So for scale purposes, these are about the correct size for the G1 toys.

Old Acquaintance of mine traded me something for the pair of them, many years ago. I think he brought some back extra from Japan. Have not seen them (or him) in years.

The RoboZone one, I think that's the silver skids. I got the Police Sideswipe from Hydra I think (if you remeber him). Got my Switchblade from Helgi in Canada. Never made that black Ironhide head...shoot if he still want's it I should get back to that. Oh yea, got a junker Star Convoy off Dave Barry (Great Robot Base) for a HUGE amount compared to the remakes...just to get the fore head wing for my better one I got from Tony Preto.
I do have your pict from my last Botcon, 95 wasn't it? I was selling stuff with my now X, you Dave and I stood out in front of my booth and I talked about TFQ2 for a bit. I had her around so I was kinda TF grounded. And what a MISERABLE expirence that weekend was dragging her around. I might have that a little mixed up, met you, Dave again and Helgi there. And THAT was probably the best couple minutes I had that whole weekend. I didn't even spend like $100 on a couple things to take home.
I also seem to recall the week you came back from Japan, not only with a SWEET MIB Blue Bluestreak but also that chrome Smokescreen.
How am I doing?
I just can't remember what the heck I sent in exchange for the dang Prowls. (like the custom job?)

For the two korean oversized bootlegs that I originally picked up in Korea, you sent me two TV trays, and a lunch box. I still have them btw, the tv trays I had to leave in Japan along with most of my collection, but the lunchbox I brought with me since it was small, and had it signed by Peter Cullen.

I bought a new shelf, wider than the rest...cept the wood was outside and it rained, so it got warped a little...
Totally re-adjusted the shelves and rearranged the items...and I don't really like it. Too cluttered.

Not an INCH was spared, only the shorter G1's would fit on the top row.

Actually the Stepper was a gift from my Girlfriend, I think she paid $60 for it.
Toys R Us had the Ricochet version of Stepper, pretty much the same cept the gun was not chrome and the launcher was that weird extra long bits. I am pretty sure it even came with the target master gun and mount. They were $35 at first, some stores might still have em.
Mind you its a cheap substitute for a real one but $35 vs $250? I can live with that. AND have enough left over to make the 2 customs.
Also might want to check Ebay and see if they have them still for sale. Um yea, lots!

Impressive collection indeed.
Love the way you displayed them. I pretty much have my shelves packed with Transformers as I am running out of space. Got them pretty much everywhere.Heck I even put the Mini-Cons from the Cybertron vs packs on top of my Playstation 2.

Some of us were lucky enough to find reissue Ricochet, Rodimus Prime, and Dirge at "Tuesday Morning" stores for $8 each. Until news of this broke on this board, I hadn't even heard of this store, but there were several in my area.
