Hahahaha. Yeah, that's a g2 red slag. He's seen better days, and more accessories! Shoes aren't allowed inside, no pets, or kids, and no one goes in my room so it's all good. Btw, I'm not too concerned with them by the vent since I've got a window unit and it's getting hot here in the south. Trust me, I'm very very careful when it comes to my tfs. Though, the title of this thread will be inaccurate come Wednesday when I post some more pics to update. Megs will be in that day. I also picked up some shelves this past weekend from the 'rents. They got them for free and didn't have any use for them.

A 5 tier plastic shelf that you assemble ($17.88 @ Wal-Mart) will do wonders. Believe me, it did for me. I bought two of 'em, and while it's cramped, it does hold all of my A/E/C trilogy, and BWX Megatron and Primal figures. The only ones that are displaced are my 5 Alternators, and the Millennium Falcon TransFormer, all of which sits on a wooden frame that I wedged behind my TV. It all works, but I'd surely love to have more room so I could really expand on my display. When the movie toys arrive...I'm gonna be screwed. I'll need probably two more units....=\
I too have the no shoes, no pets, no smoking rule. My room is also the absolute cleanest in the house. I barely watch tv in there, and mainly all I do is sleep when I'm in there, so basically it's like having a collection display room with a sleep in unit. lol

GIR SAYS "Give me your money, I need TAQUITOS!!"
In resonse to your idea about plastic shelves, I've thought about it but I found some that are like $40 and are pretty nice. I just don't want to go with the sectioned shelves cause the ones I've had in the past were textured somewhat on the surface making them a pain to dust. I had to actually wash them instead of being able to just wipe them clean. And if anyone looking at this gets MP Megs from BBTS you CAN remove the plug. Yes, it is glued but with a little coersion you can remove it. I had help with this because my package sat in the back of the UPS truck all day so it was nice and warm. Because it was warm the plastic was a little softer and maleable making it easy to just pry the sucker out.
1000 post'd!

Awsome collection.
TFs on the floor. Yep mine have been there & I don't even have a rug in place.
Now they're for the most part in large storage bins in the closet.
The Classics are on display though.

I used to have my armada and alt collection on the floor before I got some cheap shelves Armada scavenger was the only victim to my dads dog when he got in their and almost tore apart his treads luckily they're still together but when I got home I found what he had done and he looked at me happily till I went took my revenge for scavenger he knows now not to set foot in my room though while I'm away hes naughty and sneaks in to steal my food saw him last week with my unfinished bag of chips couldn't grab him though he saw me coming
anyways what I meant by all that I hope you don't have any pets around that act like my dads dog
Nice collection though is that Gir a nick product?

May 5 2007, 03:42 PM
Ouch, I had that happen to my turtle blimp when I was a kid. Scotch tape won't fix bite marks.

Luckily I don't have to worry about kids or house pets at the moment. Umm....I guess Gir is a Nick product cause it has "Nick" in bright orange pasted all over the box, but it was produced by the now defunct Palisades. I really miss that toy company.

It may be modest but it's a nice collection. There's something to be said for a small collection that appears to be well thought out like yours.
Glad to see you got some shelves.
