Are you sure about that price? It seems awfully cheap. Usually, they take the american price and almost double it, which would make alt. Smokescreen something like 40 euro's.

If Energon's already out, then I think we can almost forget getting more Armada over here. I've heard the rumor that Hasbro NL was going to release Unicron, and the booklets with dutch Armada figures also suggested that we would be getting more figures, like Overload, Final Prime and others. All I've seen so far is a lot of Scavengers.

to get the facts right:

the only official announcement i ever received of hasbro in the benelux was that unicron would come in juli 2004 (and that sounds alot like energon unicron and not armada unicron)

25 euro for alternator smokescreen is a good! price for a change! don't let yourself be ripped of by people who import the thing and then ask 40 euro for it!

i had a lookin into the order list of hasbro for armada here 6 months ago and it did not contain unicron. it did contain overlaod, but with no marker for(means undecided), but for you brick lovers! ultra magnus (overlaod repaint) is out in teh netherlands as well, for the too high price of 39.99 euro, same store as fattimus.

Seems quite cheap for ALT Smokescreen, hes 29.99 in Ireland. $39.99 for UM is 2 Euros over the price here tho.

Bought mine online for about 35 euro's. Glad to know on-line shopping is still cheaper than buying in local stores.

Fox kids is airing Transformers Energon. Saturday and Sunday morning at 7:30. (Sunday could be a repeat, don't know.)

The show was, just like Armada, dubbed ("nagesynchroniseerd") for the little kiddies with apparently the same voice actors as those who did Armada.

And another big Decepticon pops up. At Top 1 Toys Groningen I found one Energon Tidal Wave for 40 euro (approx $ 51).

Very nice planning by Hasbro NL: Armada Tidal Wave is dumped at Intertoys (for 15 euro) and almost simultaneously Energon Tidal Wave is newly released for 40 euro...I wonder which well be sold the most.

Still haven't seen Energon Ultra Magnus or Armada PL Optimus Prime up here .

Maar goed... Gisteren nadat ik bij de tandarts was geweest voor het laatste deel van een wortelkanaalbehandeling (nu nog twee keer langskomen om er een kroon op te kunnen plaatsen) besloot ik nadat ik boodschappen had gehaald nog even bij Intertoys langs te gaan.

Dit werd beloond.

Eindelijk, nadat 'ie schijnbaar in de rest van Nederland overal is waargenomen, hadden ze ook hier in Groningen een Armada Powerlinx Optimus Prime. Nou ja, ze hadden er één! Een hele serie gewone Armada Primes, maar slechts één PLOP. Een andere lokale Intertoys had een hele serie gewone, maar geen PLOP.

(Ik heb gelijk deze ene gekocht, maar merkte thuis helaas dat het schuifsysteem van de rechteronderarm een beetje lam is.)

Nu nog een E. Ultra Magnus, en we staan gelijk met de rest van het land.

Dat is dus het grote nadeel van dat gerecolor, die mallen zijn ZO vaak gebruikt dat ze losjes worden, de mal slijt en alles wordt wat breder. Check het maar, bijna alle recolors hebben er last van. Vooral E Magnus is stukken minder strak dan Overload.

Ehm... Misschien is een Nederlandse sectie wel leuk. Een kleintje, want nederland is klein...

Holland has Alt Swindle and Windcharger as well now, after Belgium had them earlier this month

Today I once again tried to get a hold of Dark Crumplezone which was supposed to have been released In The Netherlands.

The local store had gotten Scattorshot in so I was not counting on them to receive him anytime soon so last week I called to stores in nearby cities hoping they would have something but alas. Today I tried again and low and behold, they had Dark Crumplezone.

So I went to the store as soon as I could (of course I asked them to keep it on hold) and there I checked out the Transformers section and found that the Star Wars Transformers had arrived. The store had only Darth Maul and Anakin Skywalker but still.

I picked up Darth Maul but left Anakin as I already had Obi-Wan Kenobi. Darth Maul cost me $20 which is fair seeing these cost $15 in the US. When I got home I called the store in Deventer and had Boba Fett laid aside seeing I need to go there tomorrow.

There I heard from the clerk that these were just in so I thought I should post it here. The only store that still carries Transformers is Bart Smit. At least I found nothing at Intertoys.

The cool part is that thee do not have European packaging. A label is taped over the fine print but these still have the bio and techs.

I did get 2 from a friend in the US but these I had not gotten yet so I am really happy to finally be able to buy something at the local store.
