Hi All,

Been living in Hong Kong for 6 months now and I've started collecting Transformers again. Starting with Binaltechs and select Optimus'. I just picked up a used (but in perfect condition) Galaxy Force Convoy yesterday in Causeway Bay.

I've found these places so far:

CAUSEWAY BAY

1) Store called "Animate" in Causeway Bay Shopping Centre:
Best prices for BT Swindle and Grimlock I've found. I know there is another Animate in Sino Centre in MongKok, but the CWB one is bigger. There is another toy store "Cool Toys" next door that has some too (that's where I picked up the used Galaxy Force Convoy)

2) Nearby is ActionHQ's HQ, which is like toy heaven in HK! I haven't seen another store with more toys than them. I picked up BT-06-08 from them, also at prices I haven't found elsewhere. It's a bit harder to notice, cause they are on the 16th floor of what looks like a private residential building.

WAN CHAI

1) There is a street market on Tai Yuen Street, which has a bunch of Toy Stores near the beginning of it, one of which I remember is called Hung Hing toys. The transformers all seem to be supplied by the same guy, as I notice the prices are identical at each shop, even the pricing stickers are the same.

2) Oriental Centre 188 on Wan Chai Road which mainly sells Sony PSP and PS2 stuff, but there are a few toy stores in there. There is a couple more toy stores just down the block in another shopping arcade with the Mannings pharmacy store.

MONGKOK

1) CTMA and Sino Centre already mentioned in a prior thread. At Sino Centre, make sure you take the elevator up and visit the 9th and 10th floors as there are two toy stores: What's Up Toys and Action Toys. I believe there is another toy store on the 2nd level across the street from CTMA, they have an annoying recorded voice that plays over the PA system urging you to go up there to take a look. The stairwell leading up there can be tricky to locate.

I did not know about In's Point until i read the other thread, i will have to check it out next time I am in MongKok.

If you know of any other places in HK, especially where I can get BTs for good deals, please let me know!

Oops, made a mistake there, the toy shop in Causeway Bay on the 16/F is actually Toy East, not Action-HQ. I've never never been to Action-HQ, actually, does anyone know if they sell stuff locally. Toy East's prices in store are better than their online prices.

I made my way to In's Point last weekend, but half the places were closed on a Sunday evening around 6 PM. Don't know if it was because it was Easter Sunday or not. Didn't find any great deals, but I did see one place which had a lot of G1 Transformers. If you are looking for original G1 stuff, that's the place to look, but remember to bring your wallet!

They had Broadblast in a shop opposite the Star Ferry Terminal (Kowloon side), but it was about £30.

The place you mention upstairs in the Sino centre had BTA alert for really cheap, this is all a few months ago when I was there though.

Hey, can I ask you, how much are MP-02 Ultra Magnus going for out there. They were about £40 in April. I sooooo wish I'd picked one up then. If you see any out there, it would be awesome if you could post or PM the store details.

I might see if they'll do mail order
