Not sure where this should have been posted but anyway...just wondering who will be attending the Hampton Roads T-Fans meeting this Saturday in Va. Beach, and if anybody in the area of Williamsburg, Newport News, or Hampton that needs a ride, let me know.

Jim, one of the guys doing this, E-mailed me and said it starts at 1:00 pm but he would like those attending to get there an hour earlier so we can fill out some forms or something like that.

the form that I had made up is simply , basicly will give me an idea on where members would like to see the club go, and other ideas. ALso i would like people t bring their toys that they are trying to sell. up there that way we can have so what of a small local meet. looking forward to seeing everyone there. If you don`t have anything going on Saturday come on down. I used to travel between Frderick, Md. and Newport News on a weekly basis and it should only take you about 2 1/2-3 hours from Gaithersburg. That`s not that bad is it? Is it!!? . Just kidding.

The Hobby Shop won't have a problem with us bringing our trade/sell stuff in?

what to thank those who made to the meeting. Now that I'm house I got a few e-mail from people that could not make it due to work. I'm going to go up and talk to Hobbytown and see if we can get the area on wednesday or thursday night. I'm thinking that we could have a meeting on the 1st saturday of every month and the 3 wednesday or thursday night. let me know what eveing is better for everyone. Mike from cool stuff said either day is better then a saturday for him.

For those who could not make it , We talk about what we like see happen with the club. Talked about where we could get parts and some bot for older lines. Found out who had What dvd tranformers. Hopefully we can work something out where we can watch the Beast wars dvd. Talked about the upcoming transfromers movie.

In the next few days I post a date as to the next meeting . Thanks again for all those how attended.

As for Wednesday vs. Thursday, wed. is much better for me. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have band rehersals, so those nights are already booked.

As I said I went up to the toy show up by D.C. And meet Rework. Real nice guy. Had a lot of nice stuff. Got a wheeljack, yellow bumblebee, hot rod , and a mini spy for my collection. He also had a chase for Generation Zero. I went up to the toy exchange in wheaton , Md. Seem high on his price like he took them out of a price guide. Prices on the mini cars where ok , Pick up a loinel puzzle off him , an mini spy. Just need to find the one that I'm missing. Buy the way he has a fort max , He said that everything was there for him, loose not in box asking 600 for it. Still need to swing up by hobbytown and see if we can get the space on saturdays and wednesday nights.

On a side note, My collection is finished. I bot the last bot I need about an hour ago off ebay. So now it picking up the parts, booklets and cards. Looking forward to see everyone again soon.

$600 for a complete fort max seems pretty fair... did it look to be in good shape?

I was able to talk to the assist manger today at hobbytown. He said that it ok for us to have the meeting up there on wendesday nights, they just want to know what time we want to start the meeting. So i'm taking a poll as to what time everyone would like to have the meeting on wedesday nights. Also Does anyone want to change the times for the saturday meets? let me know

We have a lot to talk about , The shows coming up the may show in NJ. The NYC show in Late July , and the botcon in september. plus some other things that I have been kicking around. let me know thanks gang

I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of 6:30 - 7:00ish... Maybe as early as 6:00 even, but that might be too early for some to get home from work...

Do to the way April dates are set up I'm looking at have a meeting on the on April 13th which is a wendesday night. Let say between 6:30 - 7pm start for the meeting. This will be the only meeting for the month of April. As we will go to the 1st saturday of each month and every 3rd Wednesday of each month. If we would of keep it the other way there would be about a week between on meeting and 3 weeks til the next . this way there will be just about 2 weeks between each meeting. New fliers will be going out I plan on going to up to Hampton and hitting those comic book store that I found that sold transformers. Matter of buniess that need to be talk about.

I was there at 6:45, nobody else was there and they were racing slot cars in the back.   Waited until 7:15, then went next door to Subway and got a samich... around 7:50 or so, looked back in Hobbytown, no TFans still... Now I'm at the library next door, checking to see if the meeting was cancelled...  What's up with the meeting? Are we still doing the club thing?

I live in Croaker and I have an extensive collection of TFs including the Unicron Trilogy, G1 Re-issues and Classics. I would be delighted to share my input, ideas and collection with other fans & collectors in the Hampton Roads area. Any information you may provide including times and dates of meetings will be greatly appreciated.
