btw. cheap sollution for shelving: Home Depot DIY, not a kit but the barebones stuff: wall supports, racks, laminant planks, rounds out to around 25$ total.

That's a sweet collection Maximal! I don't come close to what you have, I found the bedsheets that you have in a thrift store for about a buck, you never know when you might find something good there. I used to have a soundwave towell but my mom lost it.

I'm gonna be able to once I get my own place. I'm going to make a TF shrine. But holy sh!t man. Do you know somebody who works at Hasbro. Or did you just have mad amounts of money to spend. OR did your parents spoil you terribly. My parents want me to cut my TF spending down to one TF a month. That's including getting them by trading here, or purchasing them in stores on online. I told them that they're crazy to say that and that it wasn't going to happen. But I can understand, since I only make six bucks and hour, and only work four hours a week, and half of my paycheck goes to my savings account. I tried asking my supervisor for extra hours, but I'm thinking of getting a second part time job. That'll mean more weekly money, and thusly more TFs, and faster too.

Would be a billion times better if you painted the room a color other than that red! Other wise thats one heck of a nice collection!!

Yes, my parents spoiled me, but most of my collection was bought during my supposed "adult" years. I lost a bit of my original bots and didn't start collecting again until Beast Machines, so one could imagine the work I've had to put in to go back and nearly complete Beast Wars.

I collect mostly American Transformers, because I enjoy personally hunting down bots more than I do ordering them over the internet. Also, in my experience, the American versions of most toys are made with better quality than their competitors (although I'm not sure why that is). So, yeah. I'm waiting on Cybertron. I'm not jumping the gun and ordering Galaxy Force. Collections are better created with patience, I think. I do like certain Japanese Tf's and I track them down from time to time.

Let's see.... what other questions? Oh yes. I "think" I have a decent job. I work for the government, so that affords me a pretty decent collection. There are far far better collections than mine out there. I just happen to have a decent display setup for mine. Everyone has a different living situation, so it's difficult to compare collections and such. I don't spend much time worrying about it.

I dedicated that entire room to nothing but Transformers. A lot of  people can't do that and it's understandable. It's just me and my wife and we have a decent sized house, so I was able to do that. I don't plan on having any kids (atleast for the moment), so it's not like I'd need the room for something else.

We don't concentrate on just Transformers. I could put pics up of other rooms where we have other collections. The kitchen will one day be dedicated to my wife's collection of Strawberry Shortcake. She has most of her original dolls as well as damn near everything from the current line. We have also spent a fair amount of time on our Justice League (Unlimited) collection, which we have every figure, minus a rare varient "white faced" Doomsday.

I picked red for the room, because I wanted a bright "eye catching" look. I wanted the room to jump out at people. I think it does. Plus, the red goes with so much that I have in there. Besides, it's a Transformers room and obviously, I'm more of an Autobot/Maximal fan. Hence, the red.

As far as numbers go, I haven't ever counted them. I wouldn't know where to begin. Do you count each Minicon or as a team? Here's something that would help if I did...

My rough estimate as I'm not even at home:

Generation 1... Probably somewhere around 50% ?!? Who knows?

Generation 2... Definitely 60%+.

Machine Wars... 100%+.

Beast Wars... 85% I would guess, maybe more.

Beast Machines... 99% I lack that stupid Target exclusive Magmatron to be complete (although I have the Japanese one.)

I don't have a lot of the stuff other people have such as much Galaxy Force, Japanese Generation 1, much Micron, Binaltech, much Superlink, etc... That just hasn't been my thing thus far.
I have a hell of a lot of TF merchandise and I really enjoy that collection as well, no matter how cheesy the stuff is *cough*Transformer watches*cough*. Anyway... enjoy.

Thanks. I pulled some of the removable TF logos out of some of the packages and set it on the shelf in front of the corresponding group. I wish I had a nice clean logo for each series, but I didn't think of it most of the time. Still, I thought it would be original. I appreciate you noticing.

Honestly, I always marvel over everyone else's collection. My wife tells me that seeing my collection every day can sort of make you take it for granted. It's like you get used to seeing it.

What else can I say about your collection that hasn't already been said? Simply amazing and I love the clean layout. Don't stop 'til you get them all.

Speaking of CC. You should have seen the version I saw today. It must be brand new. This particular Cobra Commander comes with the helmet, but it's removable and the soft hood is also in there. I'm not sure what's under the helmet, but I may pick one up next time I see it. He's also got a working holster on his hip where you can put his pistol. Cool fig actually.

holly crap dude, i want a room like that........but the room i have well i heve to sleep in it to. I found away around taking your collection for granted, rearrange it. sure its a pain in the ass, but the change in scenary will have you drooling at your own collection for at least a couple hours.
