Ok...so with the new Windcharger Remold. Is the character they portray it as going to affect the purchase for you? Do you prefer Thrust over Drag Strip or someone else? Or do you really care at all?

If they name him Thrust I'm gonna be pissed, only b/c it'll be on the license plate. And if they renamed Overdrive "Windcharger" here, there's no WAY they're gonna keep "Thrust," considering that BW2 never even aired in the US.

Wow this is news.. Haven't been keeping up to date on the new Honda.. Thrust?? Well.. crap man, they made Ravage, right? lol I wouldn't hold it against them. I'd rather it be Drag Strip if anything.

The only reason why it's speculated to be "Thrust" (as in, Japanese Beast Wars II Thrust) is b/c of the weird decals on the figure that say stuff like "Thrust Power" and "Dinotron Oil."

Personally, I'm just baffled by those decals. After going to all the trouble of making a very accurate Alt Smokescreen (not to mention the additional variants), would HasTak revert to some made-up sports car thing again? Part of me wants to believe that those decals were just part of the "test shot" and were made up so that they could see what they looked like. Of course that's just my vain hope...

Hmm, I've seen that picture and I've always thought it was just someone's digi-bash. I don't think they would be on the actual toy.

There are 10 pictures of it on TFormers, and speedbullit just got one and is planning to upload a gallery sometime today. So apparently it's "real," at least "really on the test shot".

The next person calling test shot pics provided by P.Prime, charle5 or S250 "digi-bash" or "kitbash" will get fed to Unicron.

I picked Dragstrip but he looks more like Megatron. Whick is really really scary.

Drag Strip is...

Underhanded and likes to gloat about his victories. Would rather die than lose. Megatron doesn't really like him much and would rather melt him down than talk to him.

That's bascially it for Drag Strip. He hates loosing and would rather die, yet he gloats alot about his underhanded victories.

What was Drag Strip's one line in G1? "I am Drag Strip! I live to obey!"

When Dragstrip was first given his personality from Vector Sigma, he says, "I am Dragstrip, I live to obey." But then in the episode of 'Starscreams Brigade' he tells Soundwave, "Tell Megatron to blow it out his tailpipe. We`re having a demolition derby!"

So I guess you can add tempermental to his list too.

My thoughts exactly as to the Smokescreen issue. I'm definitely hoping they change it for the final release, or even remove them all totally. Either one would be fine with me, as both would make my test shot more valuable!

I'm hoping for Drag Strip as well, but it doesn't matter, I'll buy it (the official release) regardless. The test shot is already on it's way...

Hoping not for Thrust as if it's based off the BWII thrust it will break from the idea of Alternators as G1 bots updated for a new fight. If it's supposed to be G1 Thrust, I was hoping that he would be one of the Jets that Hasbro are apparantly going to think about.

I'm not a fan of the colour of this guys so far, but I will probably buy it. Hoping it goes to a more fitting character though. Drag Strip seems like the best option so far though.

Have no real preference who it's going to be.

Drag Strip would be nice, meaning we've got another Stunticon.

On the other hand, Thrust would also be fine because it would somehow suggest a link between G-1 and later series (just like Battle Ravage).

A new stunticon would be ubersweet, they don't even have to combine. I'm hoping this will be named dragstrip, but even if they would call him anything else, it still wouldn't make me want it less. It's a sweet looking 'bot and a name is just a name.

Thrust... but i think Swoop would also be a good choice...

Ummm, both? I can see where both names would be cool. Ugh... choice. It's an evil thing. Then again, won't there be an outcry if he's named Thrust, but he's not maroon? As long as they don't add "BW2" to the name, I'll be cool. I still think it's Dragstrip though.

Either way, his bot mode looks sweet, and the mold is worth a second purchase(even a third, if they throw Cliffy in there).

Name him what you want, just like some may choose to call Meister Jazz or Buildtron/Constructicon Maximus Devastator, it doesn't matter as long as you like the toy or the character YOU want them to be. In my case, I like the look of the figure, fake decals are lame but not noticable in bot, nice head sculpt too, I'll definitly buy it. I am curious as to when in package pics show up or a test shot version 2 with a real liscence plate show up, then we can finally be over this unknown name fuss and start debating about the name Hasbro give him.

It's an awesome looking car, by far one of the most unique yet. I'd get the BT version if only for that. It should be drag strip but if they do name it thrust then it'll still be drag strip in my books. (one quick license plate fixer-upper later of course!)
