I hit LS often. Actually, I was there yesterday - nothing in Target or W-M. Also a whole bunch of nothing in Independence (W-M, Target, TRU), and just as much nothing at Blue Springs W-M.

Well, I made the hour and a half trip to Joplin last night and was not disappointed!  Picked up Venom, Hobogoblin, ML Pyro, Sabretooth, Weapon X, and Thor, along with the entire second wave of BW reissies.  Dropped about $100... 

I wouldn't say the Marvel Legends were PLENTIFUL, though, unless you really like Black Panther.  I swear to god, one store had A DOZEN Black Panthers, and that was it.

Yeah thats about right, some stores have updated, others still have crap from long ago, if you want Iron Fist, Dr. Strange and Black Panther its a paradise.  Hey Sertile, next time you come to joplin let me know.

I just got back from Lincoln NE and dammit to hell... STILL NO WING SABER at the 2 W-Ms and the 1 Target I checked!!!! That makes 21 stores total that I have checked over the last 4-5 months to no avail.

I called Lee's Summit & Independence Target w/ the DPCI. Neither had him.

I actually checked the LS and Belton Targets (Gen Magnus is smarter than I am apparently, good idea calling first). I think that the LS Target should be getting in a bunch of stuff soon, unless they are getting ready for one of those resets or whatever and intentionally letting things dwindle. I am really hoping that they restock the Alts soon so I can grab Mirage (I still really want a BT Ligier though).

Checked the Target and Joplin and they had nothing(Big Suprise).  Might check springfield area this weekend.

I called Independence Target again yesterday and they did have a case of Primus in! The awesome guy in toys had one held for me. I scored it for $12. Another local collector, however, was not able to get one there. They said they had none.

She went by the Lee's Sumit Target and they also had him but @ full price.

Really? One of the guys @ TFW2005 scored a Primus at a Joplin Target. The same dude reports that Branson has them in the back room.

Thanks for the heads up. I checked the LS Target last night right as they were closing and I didn't see Primus. I will probably check the Indep Target just b/c but I already have GF Primus (surprise surprise), although I will probably get one for my nephew, esp if it is $12.

Just got off the phone with target and gave them the DPCI Code and they said they had some in stock, those bastards, just none apparently out in the store itself so I told them to hold one for me, however doesn't look like I'll be getting that nice $12 price.

I might just run up to the LS Target and Wal-Mart just to double check again.

From what I have heard though, you might not want to worry about the head so much. People haven't been particularly impressed, plus Primus himself is well worth rushing out to get asap. But if it is free, why not get it huh?

Exactly, well I already picked him up and its not that the Head is a definite needed item, but still, I think its incredibly stupid how Hasbro only has certain ones with it, I mean like we dont buy enough repaints but now this.

Lee's Summit Target: Nothing. The TF area was so depleated it was disgusting. They HAVE to be getting ready to do something with it. There is no excuse for it to be so pathetic otherwise.

Lee's Summit W-M: Nothing. Also a disgrase and damn empty. The entire department was a wreck though. I think with that store it is just that they don't care.

Yeah, I have been checking the LS Target almost every day. They are certainly in terrible shape and must be getting restocked sometime soon dammit.

DLX Unicron, Giant Planet Minicons, Ransack GTS, Alt Mirage. I am hunting for all of them currently.

Found Wing Saber (F'ing finally, and hours after a board member mailed me one in trade, go figure) and Menasor at an obscrue Wal-Mart on I-35 (none left). I don't know if I should keep Menasor or not. Seems pretty rare, but not a figure I was dying to get. Any advice???

Oh, and no luck w/ DLX Unicron, Giant Planet Minicons, Ransack GTS, Alt Mirage. I checked 13 stores yesterday and today, and no luck on any of these. The Targets in the area are in deplorable condition. Nothing is restocked and all of it is running perilously low. Gimme a good restock and we should be able to find all the new stuff.

1 Primus - no Unicron head.
Wave 4 LoC (I came home w/ the Excellion AKA Red Hot Shot.
Some TF Ti - only BW Megatron and WWI Prime.

I believe I found it in Overland Park (so this should be in the KS thread, but who cares). I hadn't even thought about checking the Liberty or Harrisonville WMs, hmmmm.

I still need to think about the Menasor. I am not sure if I want to keep it or not, but I am leaning toward keeping it, sorry. If I do see any of those other ones that you want, I will definitely pick them up for you.

I was not impressed at all. I opted to skip both of the ones I saw. I want to pick up the 'arc' and want to see / decide upon Ti Bumblebee and Starscream from this first wave of 3".

I also finally got around to checking out the Raytown WM and there wasn't too much there at all. I did pick up a Brimstone though. I have skipped over it many times, but my little nephew saw a pic (from my new Wing Saber, yeah!!!) and wanted me to pick it up, so I did.

Well I'm still looking for the 6 inch Prime and Megs Titanium as well as DLX Unicron and Primus w/Unicron Head, I'm going to be in the overland park/kc area this weekend for a concert, can anyone recommend any stores I should check out aside from the usuals?  Any of you guys interested in meeting up?

Mainly the usual stores, ie all the Wal-Marts and Targets. It depends on what you need. Gimme your list and I can probably point you to the right individual stores in KC. No Unicron, Primus w/ head, or Mirage, but most other things are around somewhere, just let me know what you are looking for.

Well I think I need the same ones as you guys, the harder to find ones like DLX Unicron, Primus with Unicron Head, some of the harder to find Marvel Legend toys(ie Variants), as well as maybe the ALt. Prime and Mirage.

As of right now, the Wal Mart in Blue Springs (right on I 70) has 2 DLX Unicron.

Is it any good? I am leaning toward skipping that one since I am not too impressed w/ the pics I have seen so far.

Ok, so I just got a freaking haul in Belton.

At the Target, there was a Primus w/o head, that I left, an Excellion, a Skywarp and a few others that I needed to pick up this weekend for some other people... and two sets of Giant Planet minicons. I picked up an extra for you Gen Magnus like I promised.

Then I went to Wal-mart and apparently just missed getting Mirage dammit!!! There was a Meister sitting there (still there btw) which I believe ships w/ Mirage and Prime. Someone beat me to them dammit!!! And I am teaching classes right across the street every freaking night and I missed them, ahhhh!!!! Oh and there was a Quickmix that I also picked up (the only one). There was also a Cyb Demolisher at both Target and Wal-Mart, but I passed.

Basically, I got some things that I need and a whole lotta stuff for people that I promised to get them. Now I don't have to got out this weekend and get all this crap, I found it all in one place, plus some new ones I needed. Anyway, that kicks ass and I am very happy at the moment. Gen Magnus, PM me to set up the pick up of the minicons, I can probably do it tomorrow (7/14) if you want to.
