Hello all you Alt/BT Windcharger/Overdrive owners out there...

Wind's/Over's front is very nice-looking in robot mode, but I noticed his back is completely flat. like his "shoulder-pads" & back are just flat. and he looks extremely thin. How does this work on the appeal? Does it hurt it? Help it?

To me it looks really bad...is it? I've been wondering this weekend if I should invest in the Windcharger/Overdrive Decepticon remold, and if the back is a horrible design point, which it certainly looks like, are there enough redeeming qualities about this mold to make it worth owning at least once?

The back is flat, but I prefet that to the kibble Tracks, Sideswipe, and Hound had. Considering my transformers spend most of their time posed facing me, instead of away from me, I'm not bothered by it at all. When I first TF'd him, I was actually happy the back was flat, because he looks more human.

Yep, I like Windcharger as well. He is the leanest Alternator so far, with a minimum of parts hanging off of him in robot mode.

Does ths flat back detract from his good posing in any way? Like are there poses that you don't like doing simply because of the back's design?

did you transform him correctly? His bonnet should be on top and the windshield on the bottom. Some people mistransform him and the bonnet is on the bottom. I think if you had the bonnet on top then it should cover his back decently.

I don't own Windcharger/Overdrive...I was asking for information on how his back looked on the overall quality of the figure. I've just seen pictures of him. And the ones of his back all show it to be very flat and a bit of an eyesore. So I was just wondering what others thought of it or if the pics are wrong and all that.

most of the alts have limited waist movement anyways.. it's hood resting on its back willnot give it great movement unless u give windcharger a tail like sideswipe... (keep the windshield in its place..) windcharger is great cuz none of his body panels are hanging out and he's just as tall as everyone in robot mode, but in car mode its more compact! thats just something im really facinated with. so yah, he's a lil flat, just means he takes up less space when all ur tf's are doing their action poses lol. this toy is really growing on me. quality? the red plastic looks a little cheap but u get used to lookin at it. i really like how u can put the top on or take it down... and the detail in car mode... gets better with all the new alts!!!but u get what u pay for n i think overall its worth my 20 bucks!
