Sorta both. I was thinking about the CM GGG toy but it doesn't look it would take play...
it doesn't. the right forarm on mine broke and even tho i was able to successfully glue it back together, i'm still afraid to play with it. TakTom ran a poll in Figure-Oh magazine asking the readers "What's the next Brave they would like to get the masterpiece treatment?" and GGG was first on the list so i'm hoping TakTom goes thru with it since MP-Exkizer is actually quite sturdy.
Well, it's not quite figure confirmation, but that's good news, to say the least. At the very least, it means they'll have that on their minds for a bit. The existance of CM's toys might mean that an MPB version could be held back, for competition to die down more, though.
I hope to dear god that it happens, though. GGG always struck me as a really awesome-looking design, but so far, the toy offerings haven't been too appealing to me. Takara's original, while sturdy as all heck, I'm sure, suffers from some less-than-dynamic proportions, just looking pretty awkward in general. CM's toys have that angle covered in spades, but the tradeoff is that they're not much more than expensive, fragile display pieces. A redo with TakaraTomy at the helm should be able to find the proper middle ground there. QC issues with Takara aside, along with Bandai, at least I know they can put out a sturdy product, which is much less than I can say for a lot of these other, third party-type companies.
