AUTOBOT X from the AUTOBOT SPIKE episode...

Check the kitbash forums, dude (Or dudette, I dunno.) there's a topic with a BT/Alt Autobot X there somewhere.

Wow, that is decent. The one over in our kitbash forum was done using Alternator parts. Maybe someone can convince JohnnyReb to put his pics back up.

i must have missed something...who the hell is Autobot X?

There was an early G1 episode where Sparkplug slapped a bunch of Autobot parts together as "Autobot X", a real Frankenstein creation. However, it went berserk, so they shut it down.

Then a contrived accident happpened, and they transferred Spikes mind into Autobot X while his body recuperated. Why, I dunno. Anyway, he got to see what it was REALLY like to be an Autobot, and he didn't seem to like it.

I dont think Spike didnt like it, but rather a problem with the mind transfer technology... according to the show it only took them like 10 mins to develop and put into use. Spike's mind was mixed in with the crazy frankenrobot and that's what screwed things up...

yer, the mind transfer screwed up Spike's mind, and it made him feel as though he's become a freak. being desperate to go back to normal, Spike/Autobot X just lashed out.

One more example of the greatest script-writing of all time...

FUN! Wish I could have seen the BT/ALT version though...but who knows...I'm lookin' at my mini-screwdriver set...and I have a few ALT's I need to do something with. Will the office of Dr. Frankenstein finally be opened for business??

Yeah it was real smart of them to let Spike watch Frankenstein to "cool off" while being in a mish-mash robot body... The Lars Pearson book Prime Targets said something real funny - they should've let him watch Three's Company or something.

if yer gonna make autobot x use ultra magnus' head for it, its size is perfect for them ill post my pics as soon as i can....everyone be patient
