Does anyone knwo if they still have Protoforms at Northgate TRU? I need to head home that way today anyway.
ROSEDOGGYDOG
you could always call.
Trainwreck
Yes, but I don't know the SKU #, I don't trust them when I say "DO you have the protoform movie toys?"
Trainwreck
Update: Ok so I hit up Northgate TRU, and they had tons of both protoforms. So I picked up one of each and left the rest for you guys.

Also, Kirkland Fred Meyer just restocked and they have 4 of each of the following: 6" Titanium Optimal Optimus, 6" Scourge, and 6" GI-Joe Megatron. I picked up the Megatron.

I do it all the time redface2tf.gif
Trainwreck
Oh well, it all worked out. I had to stop at Kicks anyway, so it wasn't out of my way or anything.
Optimus Puggie
What are TRU selling the protoforms for? I'm contemplating whether it will be cheaper to wait for Target or Wal Mart to get them. I finally broke down and ordered Devastator from Walmart's site to store. Kinda kills the thrill of the hunt, but with my luck it probably guarantees that they'll show up in stock now.

Are there still any TFU Aeiralbots at any Big Lots?

I'd also appreciate a heads up is anyone sees any of those Knock Off Chinese 8" Robot Masters Victory Sabers anywhere (still hunting...)

*EDIT* - So after lunch I pop into Wal Mart and guess who's sitting on the shelves mocking me in his green and purple way. It's good to know the rules of the Universe stay pretty constant!

TRU has the protoforms for $9.99. Devastator was easy to find with a tip from this forum thumbsup1.gif Marysville had enough of them to where I could actually be picked about paint job and packaging.

TFU Aeiralbots were last seen by myself at Lynnwood Big Lots before Arch Angelz hit that. Not sure if they are still around, but I wouldn't doubt they have been restocked by now.

There are a ton of ACTUAL Robot Masters toys over at Kicks Hobby in Northgate.
ROSEDOGGYDOG
Everett Target has the Protoforms. I don't know wtf is up with SS! On the back of the package his head looks decent then look at the toy and you can tell that they used a different head. $9.99 ea.

Yeah, got those already smiletf.gif There are knock offs that came out a little while back that are basically the same thing but bigger, so they match better with the size of the other toys. The Robot Masters are cool but oh so tiny. The ones I'm looking for are about 8" big. I think they're made by the same factory that makes the WST Fort Max. There are a few on ebay (but no Victory Sabers listed since I decided I actually want one), and I've heard people finding them in Chinese markets and dollar stores in CA and the east coast. Apparently Decepticharge found one at a Tuesday Morning last fall, but I have yet to see any up here. The inventory at the discount stores varies so greatly from store to store and theres not much in the International District that would carry them.

I am in Spokane, and have 1 set of these last 2 ALT's for sale for $50 + shipping.

PM me if interested!
another tf fan
Picked up Proto Prime and Starscream at Tacoma TRU. the had a shelf full yesterday.

No discounts on Classics, sadly, and Cybertron stuff is still keeping the pegs nice and toasty... maybe i need another Excellion...yes, maybe I do.

Did happen to go into Southcenter TRU last Friday and what a disappointment....maybe they have the movie proto toys now but as of last week the TF shelves were quite devoid of anything released after December 2006.
Trainwreck
I'm so sick of Cybertron. I may end up buying Excellion next time I see him (He's all over), but otherwise I'm totally done with that line.
another tf fan

I PM'ed you back the otherday, but haven't heard from you...
ROSEDOGGYDOG
Okay so after here movie toys were out I check locally and nothing grr.gif but I did find Softimus Prime and Bumblee (Plush TF's that "transform") at FM. I actually liked the Softimus Prime enough and got him for my kid, which he liked. I'm thinking of grabbing another prime to make my own "Garfield" like window cling.
Optimus Puggie
Auburn FM had the little movie legends guys, the truck/blaster, a couple of non transforming primes and bumblebees that make noise, and some fast action battlers.
ROSEDOGGYDOG
*shakes fist at you* grr.gif

If anyone finds a titanium G1 Ultra magnus please let me know.

I drove up to Northgate yesterday from Covington in death traffic just to find out that in spite of all the money and support I've given Kicks in the past (knowing that there were lots of things I could have gotten cheaper off the net) and all the personal favors I've done for the owner, they're charging $70 bucks EACH for the Nike guys. I said that was crazy ebay scalper prices and I thought they were 29 bucks, and the guy told me that if I had preordered them they would be, but since I wasn't sure if I could afford them back when they were taking preorders I'm SOL now because they're greedy bastards. These things are the size of baby shoes, they look like they should be 10 bucks. 29 was pushing it, 70 is just insulting. I'm never going back there again. angryfire.gif

Target sticks them under the same DCPI number (087-06-0951), unfortunately this is the same number as the Movie Preview figs. If you want the SKU numbers still , I'll post back later with those.

Softimus Prime and Slumblebee at Redmond Fred Meyers (2 of each left as of 5-17-2007 10:30 AM) They also put out an arse load of Movie Preview figs. I have a feeling the shelves are going to be so clogged with these that the normal deluxe movie figs may not hit shelves on the 2nd...
ROSEDOGGYDOG
well I'm pissed. I go to seattle today for an autodesk seminar and on the way home I hit up kicks and nobodys home (just a post it that says be back in 10min, I waited 30). then I went to fm, nothing, tru has 6 Titanium soundwaves and 4 rodimus primes. then I hit target in woodinville, they have nothing but starscream galore. THIS SUCKS!
ArchAngelz
Movie Toys at Bothell Fred Meyers (as of 1:30PM). I picked up DLX Swindle, DLX BOnecrusher, as well as 6 of the Real Gears and the Starscream and Optimus Prime Blasters.
ROSEDOGGYDOG
thanks for that heads up AA. I went and got some (finally) yesterday. Some of those are pretty neat. However I must confess I only bought the Prime Blaster cause I wanted to check it out but will be returning it as I don't feel its worth the $35 they want. I'll wait for it to go on clearance.

oh BTW I forgot to mention I found the Robot Heroes (the cartoonish verisions) at Lynnwood Fred Meyer. They only had two, Starscream vs. Mirage and get this Rodimus vs. Insecticon (aka Rodimus Prime vs. Shrapnel).
ArchAngelz
yeah, I'm holding onto my receipt just to see if it's cheper from a sale elsewhere. Its MSRP is only 29.99, which is still a bit steep for it.

you, my friend, can kiss my ass! Just joking of course bumblebeetounge.gif , good haul! thumbsup1.gif

So spill it already, how is he, give a review.
another tf fan
he's super sexy! thats my review. the best prime since MP Prime and more fun to transform. He's incredibly detailed, has rubber tires, flames extend to rear fenders. The Automorph gimmicks are way nice, espescially the foot mechanism. Truck mode is gorgeous and a lil detail painting will really help it shine.

I have 10 primes: classics voyager and deluxe, PM prime, DVD Prime, bendy prime Cybertron leader prime, Titanium WW prime, Alternator prime, Proto Prime and movie leader prime, and movie leader prime is the best in truck mode and second only to dvd prime in robot mode. (sad to say I never have had g1 prime)

If any of you only get one movie toy make it prime, he is the Transformer of the year 2007.
ROSEDOGGYDOG
How many were there? I'll have to find an excuse to make it out that way...

Toy Stable is down that way and their always a good reason.
Optimus Puggie
What and where is Toy Stable? Can't find any info on them.
ArchAngelz
https://www.toystable.com/WebStore/index.php. They are a "mom and pop" 2nd hand toy store out in the boonies smiletf.gif. Fairly good selection of toys from what I saw. Lots of Star Wars and GI Joe. a smaller section of transformers. If you are out that way, I'd suggest its a good place to stop. i just can't justify the drive out there.
Decepticharge
Toy Stable is in Tacoma. Don't know the exact location, but some miles from Bonney Lake Fred Meyer. Toy Stable is off I-5 while Bonney Lake Fred Meyer is off the 410. It's a long drive from Everett and Prime is about $45. I didn't want to spend the extra $5 for him since it's about 2 weeks more for the mass release. He comes 6 in a case I believe. No confirmed Megs in this assortment that I know of.
Optimus Puggie
Thanks! Went to Bonney Lake today. There's only 1 Prime left and the paint is scratched.
Decepticharge
If anyone in the Auburn/Federal Way area needs to pick up the Movie Deluxes (excluding Scorponok and Wreckage), Prime and Starscream Blasters, Real Gear stuff, the Fred Meyer in both locations have them up. It's a big red cardboard display like the one AA spotted up in Bothell. They are not in the normal toy display section. The one at Fedral Way is in the middle aisle between the toys and paints/hardware. The one in Auburn is one or two aisles over next to the big containers (similar to the ones some of the collectors store their toys in).

Auburn may have a few more items in the toy aisle including protoforms and FABs. Federal Way has only the protoforms in the toy aisle.
another tf fan
So did you get a Prime, or the one left was scatched and you didn't buy it?
Optimus Puggie
I got mine and left the scratched one g1-bumblebeedance.gif

I have to agree that he is very well done. He has a cool slide switch gimmick that flips his gun out, and I'm always a sucker for individually articulated fingers!
