I just noticed the "BBTS SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS" section on BigBadToyStore.com and wondered if the "Machine Robo's" were worthy of a part of my TF budget? I know Bandai makes good stuff but wanted a TFans opinion.

TH Tv show is pants and the toys are the equivelent of TF lego. Combine them in many ways. However, they dont really vary much in the Tfing department and many look similar. Up to you.

Oh yeah. There was a website that show some ridiculously big-and awesome-combinations consisting only of Machine Robo Rescue toys. I only have the Blue Sirens Set (Single Cop Car w/four Cykill like bikes). I gotta check out BBTS!

The problem may come because Gobots are now a Hasbro property but in Japan, Takara doesn't have the rights to MRR.
Which I don't suppose that would be a big issue, but I am sure that Bandai would want the rights, and you know they are going to butcher the dub.
Bandai makes those things right?

go to Big Lots. You can get six of the MRR sets for $3.99 each.

Hi folks - me again!!
Was just wondering if anyone else has heard of / started collecting any Machine Robo Rescue Mugenbine stuff? I grabbed myself some at a collectors fair this past Friday, and I actually kinda like them!!
I guess they could be described as what would happen if Lego and TFs gt together and created a toy that was a mix of both - will try and do some pix soon, in case you wanna look, ok?

Yeah. Bought a Launchersaurus recently out of curiousity- mainly because one of it's alt modes looked like a Trypticon/ Liger Zero (Zoids) hybrid, but man was I dissapointed. I like transforming robots mainly for the ROBOT part, but this robot was pathetic and there's tons of extra parts that don't attatch to the figure in this mode. I didn't even bother placing the stickers. I just boxed it back up and gave it to friend who seemed to like it a bit more than myself.
Gobots sucked in 80's and this new incarnation is still total poo IMO.

MRR is already airing in Cartoon Network Asia, and some of the toys are already showing up here:
MRR Sighted in Manila, PHTFPH MRR GalleryNotice the toys are packaged carded instead of the boxed version from Japan.
Despite the Gobots brand being under Hasbro, MRR is still Bandai property, and apparently Bandai USA is intent on releasing these in the US eventually.

I've got one of those collectin urges that comes up between transformers waves. Right now I'm really interested in Machine Robo Mugenbine. I already have two (Galaxy Rex and Heat Tricera) but I'm hankering for more. Anyone know where I can buy Launcher Zaurus/Saurus, Needle Stego or Mach Petra/Ptera? Thanks for your time.

I'd love to find out where to get Machine Robo Mugenbine too. The only place I know of is hlj.com...but the shipping'd kick my wallet's butt four times over.

Well, they do sell them here in the phillipines for like 10 bucks a pop. I'd handle some requests, but I'm too young to do that.. Sorry.
I only have Xenonbine.

Well, i got my birthday presents today - only 12 days early. I got a Kaiser Condor and a Save Gunman. They came from HobbyLink Japan - scary thing was that, according to the consignment note on the parcel, they were only sent out last friday!! 4 days to get here!! wow..

JRS Toyworld in the United States carries them. If it wasn't for them, I'd have spent a small fortune ordering them from HLJ with the international shipping.

Well..hopefully it's okay to wake this topic back up; I ordered Dig Kong and Teiyoryu (or is it Teiyo Ryu?) last night from BBTS. Decided not to order the Kaiser Condor, and figured the Teiyo Ryu'd have more playablity since he had the nifty motorcycle mode.
I'll post my thoughts on what I think of 'im, when I get 'im...but two down...uhm...6 or 4 to go.
That reminds me, does anyone know of a Muginebine fansite that lists all the products?

Great list, Unclejoe. I'd been wondering if the bat was an actual set, or some thing someone just cobbled together. I kept seeing a bat-looking thing on Prominence,

How's the Save Gunman fig?
I'll try and pick up the Yu Tenma. Thank gawd it's sold locally....

http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN941554 Oh yeah, UncleJoe, there's the two new ones....
Guard Gorilla and Gattai Kame.
The gorilla apparently uses a mugen engine, and the turtle still uses a mugenroid....

Thanx for the info, Frosty - will keep an eye out for the Guard Gorilla and Gattai Kame!!
As for the Save Gunman, he's a mean little bugger. Vehicle mode is pretty simple (not many bits to it), animal mode is pretty mean looking, as is robo mode. Am glad i got it for my birthday actually - will give it about a 7 out of 10. Hope this info helps

May 22 2006, 02:43 AM
Not bad, not bad. My Dig Kong and Teioryu should be getting here tommorow.

(Now if only I wasn't down with a stomach bug, I could be more excited about it.)
I think after I pick up the 50th Anni. Godzilla plush for a friend's belated xmas/early birthday/xmas and the Son of Godzilla plush for mom as a late mother's day gift, and pay on my credit card a bit; I'll work towards getting the Three Mugine Muskateers characters.
A question about Wanrikiguma;
http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN934915 Does the mugenroid just sit in the 'Go-kart' or does the 'go-kart' have to be built around him?
Aoi
UncleJoe420
May 22 2006, 02:53 AM
I think the go-kart is built around him, as parts attach to the pegs on his legs. Besides that, he still looks pretty damned cool!!

Got Dig Kong and Teiouryu in the mail earlier tonight! Short story, they're so fun! the pics and long story'll come in after 24 and Medium, though!
Back to edit my thoughts! I love these litlle guys. My pics of Teiouryu aren't turning out...so not many photos of him, yet. The only thing I wish for 'im..more articulation on the Mugenroids...and for Teiouryu's bigger robot form to be a smidge better. (He has an awful time standing.)

Yup. Mine did. Here's the Gallery.
http://www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=114290 (I need to rename though. I mispelled Mugenbine several times. ...Muginebine. Yeesh. Guess I was too excited. XP )
I was scratching my head over what the extra gold weapons were about. ^_^;
I also was wondering, but posting about it slipped my mind last night, what's the little Muginebine sets on the last page of Teiouryu's booklet(The little dragon, tiger, bird and turtle(?) and nifty looking Mugenroid) called? I wouldn't mind tracking 'im down.

I think those little sets were only released in Japan - wish i could remember what they were called (might've been mentioned ona a previous page here). As for the gold weapons, i think they might have been part of some promotion, since the gold weapons look similar to the weapons with the Assault Leon, Energy Rhinoce and Great Rex.

BTW Aoi - how many sets do you now have?
Taaron

Just two. ^_^;; but I gotta say..I'm pretty addicted now. So I'll be getting the Go-Kart one, Kaiser Condor, and the Three Muskateer figures sooner or later.
Edit: Also wouldn't mind the beetles, or the Assault Leo....oh hell. I'll just say I wanna 'em all for sake of ease. I'm addicted!

Not bad. I think I did my first original Mugenbine creation...and I just realized, I need to fix those file/folder name typos. (Here's my first-ish, I did this one the first night I got the sets;
http://www.maj.com/gallery/AoiJuuni/Mugine...muginebine3.jpg )
and here's the one I did a few minutes ago.
http://www.maj.com/gallery/AoiJuuni/Mugine...olisherkong.jpg http://www.maj.com/gallery/AoiJuuni/Mugine...lisherkong1.jpgI named it Demolisher Kong, cause it reminded me of that giant house wrecker from I, Robot.
Another thing I've noticed..I think DigKong is the only toy around, that can eat it's own face.
