yippie!!!
I won this
Yahoo Japan Auction. I finally get the last TRU set so I can make this guy:

Oh and I will be selling the other TRU exclusive set with the white Air Leon, red Build Giraffet and red Carry Eagle. The colors look much nicer combined than the original versions. I am also selling the Roid General 3 set. This set has the Mugenroid form of Q, R, & S. The figures are translucent, and have the letters sculpted into their head, but aren't painted. They also come with the yellow parts in the pictures above. I also have a Guard Kong and blue Carry Eagle I am selling. PM me if interested in any of these sets. Get them before I put them on eBay.

Congrats, Overbite!
Hey guys, I got a question about Ryan..how does the payments work out?
I'm a bit curious as I don't want to request something, and then when the time comes, don't have the funds available.

Well, I think Ryan's stuff is pretty reasonably priced, although his shipping costs are a bit on the steep side (around $40+ for EMS). But if you want to find some of the harder to find Mugenbine bits, Ryan is probably your best bet!!
Fingers crossed my Wanrikiguma arrives from HLJ soon; it was dispatched last Friday (23rd), and has yet to enter the UK. Wouldn't be surprised if the delay is weather-related, as it has been pretty dodgy over here..

that brings my number of sets up to, i think, 43~!
and i honestly had no idea Hercules came with a Mugenroid AND a Turboroid...Fire and Police are also really nice...and im enjoying Zord Elephant.
i also put an order in with Ryan for Heavy Mammoth and Tri-Wolf...and i just won a rare Brave Series Ultra Raker figure on ebay. This is turning out to be a good week.
Also, Cheese, Thanks for those pics (front AND back! I hate not seeing the back of some awesome combos, makes them so much harder to work on) im so gonna build that now. =]

Well, my new totally unbusted Wanrikiguma turned up today, which ups my set count to 40!! Once my next lot of dough gets into Paypal, the Tri-Wolf (plus a few other sets) will be mine!! Mwahahaha
Ok, am waiting for a Mugen Emperor and a 4 Dragons Legends set from Ryan, which will up my set count to 42, unless you count each Candy toy as a separate set...

Variable is a damn good site for themed combos - colors, bugs, dinos, etc. That is also where I got details on making the Mugen Kaiser 5 from the last page.
If you need a translator for the site, I recommend World Lingo. I use the Fox Lingo plus in for fire fox and love it.

I think I found it on the firefox start page (the one w/ google on it). You could easily google Fox Lingo and find it too. It should be the first result.

On another note, I just got Try Wolf from my brother and he is cooler than the pictures lead you to believe.
The machine mode is the weakest of them ,but it can be modified. I'll post pics as soon as I find my camera!

Also of the 4 (probably 8 including doubles

) how would you rate them from best to worst?

Apr 2 2007, 06:52 PM
I would rate Powerful Tyranno #1 with Speed Eagle very closely behind in 2nd, Try Wolf in third, leaving Heavy Mammoth to bring up the rear.
Heres a combo I just made, using the two Try Wolfs I just got.

I finally got my key bots after waiting 20 days. HLJ's SAL shipping takes forever. not doing that again.
I have the ordered the gigadragon and two shield monsters next, but now theyre listed as backordered...
I hope my order is what made them be back ordered, that way I still get them.
for those of you who have keybots, whats the best places to get them?
Im using HLJ, but if Amenbo ever comes back, I'll use them. outside of that, I havent seen them anywhere else.

The candy toys are as good if not better than the Mugenbines themselves. I also highly recommend them.

BTW, has anyone else here who has the Mugen candy toys actually tried eating the candy itself? Was debating to give it a try, but I'm erring on the side of caution..

I am hoping Ryan from f2f can hook me up with the candy sets.
Also I updated my Mugenbine display:

The big guy uses 7 Mugenbine sets (A-F and Z). I based most of him from a pic from a Japanese website but made some changes to the legs and back.

I would of, but my Mugenbine(first set, still need to email Ryan about the others) candy sets actually didn't have the candies in them. The Dekabase robo did have the candies and I still ended up eating them.

Cheese do you happen to have any info as to when they are supposed to get their new system finished?

Apr 6 2007, 02:57 PM
No news on the Amenbo front.
Aki is no longer keeping in touch.
I think they are really busy with this new site and all.
I can tell you this though, don't expect to be seeing the inventory that was on the old site. The reason they are doing this is to make his business more manageable. When dealing with products of this nature, the business can get away from you and take on a nature all its own. It becomes a snowball going down a mountain and before you know it, it's out of control. That was what was happening at Amenbo, so now he's trimming his inventory, creating a better web based ordering system and reeling it all in to a more controllable level. I hope he doesn't discontinue the Mugenbine or Keybots lines, but there is a chance he may take the store back to its roots, which was a Zoids and Chogokin store only. Mostly Zoids when he first started.
Here's hoping them the best of luck no matter which direction they go.

I don't have any multiples either.
I just ordered the Insect Double from BBTS finally. I can't wait to get them in. Of course, technically, I would have a double when I get that in thanks to Junk Stag but I'll be giving that to my son so his Xenobine can have some company.
I am also hoping that my second order from Rosalinda gets here today. It has been 4 weeks since I paid and 3 weeks since it shipped. This one contains my Over Ligan, Launcher Saurus, and Zorde Elephant. This wait has gotten tiresome.

Alternate Mugen General 7 (using all parts)
