yeah, fangtiger was my first too.

I got him from BBTS out of curiosity. about 3 hours after I opened him, I went and ordered xenonbine.
I got my leadzaurus about a week ago, and I'm waiting for HLJ to ship my sp roid general set and the double insect set, and I'm trying to convince my GF I need speed eagle.
these little guys are addictive...

I think Rosalinda's might have Launcher Zaurus, and Iron Beetle (at least the did a couple of weeks ago IIRC). There is an eBay stores link a few pages back. I've never used them but some others on this board have and are supposedly pretty good. I also prefer the color scheme of Launcher Saurus over Lead Zaurus, but Lead Z comes with 2 clear cannons which can be used to make a large robot mode, something that is difficult to do with Launcher Z.

The yellow combiner head on Jab Stag is new. That is the only mold change. Otherwise they are the same.



I'd say that Fang Tiger has enough different parts to consider him as a different figure (robot head, animal head and the wings).
Fang Tiger was one of the first sets I got. Air Leon was my actual first Mugenbine. I really like the Lion mold that I want to find the TRU set with the white Air Leon and get that Black Air Leon set too.

I've been watching Rosalinda's for a little while now. I am just trying to scrape together some spare money for them - enough to order at least 3 items so I can save on shipping and get that discount they are offering.

Sadly, they are out of the Iron Beetle. They do have the the Launcher Zaurus though. I've not been able to find a Mach Ptera anywhere.

Well, my Heavy Mammoth turned up today - only 2 dyas after it left Japan!! Have just spent the last 15 minutes trying to get into the flippin' box!!

How do you like the set so far? I am waiting for Fire Wolf to be released so I can get both of them shipped together.

Are there any pics of the Fire Wolf? I've not been able to find any.

The Heavy Mammoth is a pretty sweet set - even the colours are ok!! Now I can make the Mugen Commander 3 (using the pod from Mugen Hercules). Might also have to make a start on building a Mugenbine Godzilla too!!

If only I could somehow grab the little promo vids off the Mugenbine site..

from any of you guys who deal with HLJ, how are they?
when they ship the package, do they put the billing info inside the box, or tape it in an envelope on the outside?
I only ask because I have lost the billing info from other places because the tape it to the outside of the box.

also, BBTS still has Heavy Mammoth listed as preorder. does anyone know if they have them in and ready to ship?

BBTS will say pre-order untill the do have them in stock...probably wont take too long.

Im still in debate over when i am gonna order Heavy Mammoth...i just got a WII...and ive got Spinal surgery coming soon...so i gotta save money.

I tried to order speed eagle and powerful tyranno from amembo, and they say they aren't taking orders again until the 22nd. and it's now the 24th.
I hope they get better soon...

Majin, in answer to your question about HLJ, I have found them to be very reliable - as I've been ordering Mugenbine bits from them for around a year now. As for where they attach shipping details, they will be attached to the top of the parcel, as they also seem to double as an address label. They declare the value of the items inclosed in Yen; which has helped me not getting hit for import duty by UK Customs).

Thanks man...Surgery's not for a few weeks...its not even 100% set in stone that I'm having it, more like 70/30...but with the way stuffs going ill almost definitely be having it...this'll be my 2nd one...not looking forward to it.

I've found that HLJ can be touch and go on some items. I tried to order some AmDriver stuff from them once and it was processing for quite some time before eventually going into backorder.

I'll pretty mad if my stuff goes on backorder. I can get the same sets from BBTS, plus get quicker shipping, but it's much cheaper from hlj.

well, I just got digkong and kaisercondor today.
until now, I had no idea that kaisercondor had the extra robot head. he's pretty cool.
next week, my insect double and roid general 3 should arrive.

I wouldn't hold my breath about Amenbo.
The Japanese site is completely gone other than a disclaimer saying "We're working on our site." ( Of course as I write this they'll probably be back online!)
A friend of mine has orders waiting to ship, actually the english site says they have shipped but the post office has no record of the tracking number and its going on two weeks since he got the shipping notice. This was after he filed and closed the dispute through PayPal, thinking everything was okay. I think he's screwed.
This is why I'm so glad my brother is over there.
Before he moved I went through all these different online shops, like HLJ, Amenbo, Toys n' Joys, etc. and I always thought their service was sub-standard at best. HLJ was bad but not the worst, but that was years ago, now it looks like they're huge. I hope they've improved their business. I only used Amenbo a couple of times but they were decent, I only had a couple of stock problems with them. Toys n' Joys was a horrible company to deal with, their service, communication and attitude sucked. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
Just sharing some experiences I've had. This was years ago so things probably have changed, I hope for the better!

yeah, I ordered a shining lioconvoy from toys n joys a few years back.they charged my card for the toy, and after a month of not seeing the figure, I sent them an e-mail, which started another month of trying to get ahold of them. finnaly, one of them sent me an email saying that they would get the figure to mee soon. 6 weeks later, I got my lioconvoy.



also, the arm just fell of my xenonbines mugenroid.
I can fix it, but I have to go and buy a small screwdriver set.

I've used both Amenbo & HLJ without any problems with the exception of my last order from Amenbo which took along time to send out because they were doing inventory/site maintenance. Just be patient Majin, they will eventually get everything up and running.

Heres the best combo I've seen so far of Powerful Tyranno, Speed Eagle and Heavy Mammoth. Its from the Official Mugen World site.

More bad news from Amenbo.
According to an e-mail my friend got, their website update is hitting all kinds of snags. So much so that all functions, including shipping have stopped.
I checked this out on the Japanese site and it just says there will be further delays as of February 27th.
My friend is really bummed as he says they are a great company to work with.
I hate seeing good plans fall apart. Especially to companies essential to maintaining someones collection! ( and habit! )

Just got to say that this is one almighty pisser for us MugenHeads, and only really leaves us with HobbyLink Japan and Fan2Fan for the time being. I just hope that the peeps at Amenbo manage to get on top of things fairly soon!!
