Think I'm gonna order another Mugen Hercules and a Wanrikiguma next from HLJ, since I want to build a robot to fight this one I made below. Since I don't have the Juuki Gattai Mugen Builder set, then I will have to go for another Mugen Hercules - which will at least make the combo bot I want to build look pretty cool (black and red colour-scheme).

There was a seller on eBay that had 3 of the Juuki Gattai Mugen Builder Sets you need Uncle Joe. Why not buy one from them?

I actually bought one of their Mugen Builders, when I got Uzumakidori...I should be receiving it tomorrow. (hopefully!) I think it only took about two weeks to ship, if it gets here tomorrow.
They seem to be a pretty good seller to deal with. As soon as I get paid tomorrow, I'm planning on ordered another batch of stuff from them.

if your talking about Rosalinda, yeah theyre really great to deal with...the 20% off if you order 3 or more MRM sets is really nice...i just got my order from them in the mail earlier...the 3 RideBines (i already have Yuutenma), and the 3 Muskateers.
The order i just placed with them is for a Juuki Gattai Mugen Hercules, Fire, Police, Zord Elephant, and Powernose. Soon as i get more money (my birthdays soon), im gonna order Assault leon and Energy Rhino from them.
the other dealer on ebay named Sasky Market also has some good stuff for sale as well.
aside from store exclusices which i dont care about, in about 2 months ive managed to get almost a complete mugenbine collection...as it stands im 3 figures short.
im glad transformers are in a pre-movie lull so i had alot of extra cash for once =]

I've tried making that, Immy - it does make for quite an imposing combo robot, as it stands a lot taller than the normal double combos!! Was just wondering if anyone has tried combining 2 of the Mugen Sector Double sets yet?

Yeah I ordered my Mugen builder from Sasky Market. Hopefully he will be sending it out tomorrow. With that I will only need the two of the three tru sets and the black airleon to complete my back issue toys. I'm not going to get any straight duplicates of the figures. Then it will be to focus on new releases of this line.
Uncle Joe here are some pics of the two insect sets combined together. And one where they are combined with Mugen Hercules:

That's cool, Overbite! I was going to only get the Combo set, but now that y'showed this...I'm highly tempted to get the original duo, as well.
Anyways, Immy, I was wondering since you've used Rosalinda's Trading Post before; how do they ship their items? would it be EMS, UPS, FedEx or something along those lines? If it's Postal, I can still expect to get it by tomorrow.
Anyways, I've just bought Energy Rhinos, Assault Leon, Great Rex and Heat Tricera from Rosalinda. Just gotta wait till I get the amount for it. (I was going to get the Candy toys, but the auction ended...so I suppose if they don't put them back up until after I pay for the set, I'll have to get those after the next paycheck.)
So, what's the different between Great Rex and Galaxy Rex?

Sounds like it might of been postal, then. FedEx/UPS here doesn't require you to sign...so here's to hoping it arrives tomorrow.
I'm thinking I might have to reel in my Mugenbine purchases, though. Things in the air at work are kinda funny feeling, so I might have to start putting alot more money towards my credit card bill, so if anything happens, at least I'll have it paid down.
I suppose I could limit myself to one or two Mugenbine purchases per month? What d'ya'll think?

Well, that's pretty similar to how I buy my stuff, Aoi - that way it gives you time to catch up with not only new items which come out, but other sets that are missing from your collection.

That's true, UncleJoe. Never did think about that.
Anyhow, I just recieved Uzumakidori and Mugen Builder. Haven't taken them out of their packaging yet...in fact, my story is very very similar to Immy's now.
The mailman that delivered it, woke me up. This is actually the first time I've received mail from the Post so early. It's usually after 1 p.m. before it's delivered. Got the shipping box open, but that's about it. I'm a still a bit asleep, haha.
Well, my initial impressions; yay! Got my first Juuki Gattai set...although, Juuki Gattai Mugen Builder is suuuch a big name for a little guy.
Granted, I haven't removed him from the packaging yet...but from all the pics I've seen, and heard ya'll talk about them, I thought he'd be huuuuuge.
Oh well, enough typing!

I'm gonna go grab a shower and get woke up some more, then start playing!

Aoi,
The difference between them is the color scheme and the extra weapons. In this case Great Rex comes with 2 sword blades. Assault Leon and Energy Rhinos both come with a pair of extra guns. Also, the Juuki Gattai Mugen sets are pretty well packed. As for size, I think Juuki Gattai Mugen Builder is bigger than say Zord Elephant and maybe bigger than Turbo Animal force but this is just speculation since I don't have it yet.
Also I'd pay off the credit card too. One-two a month is pretty reasonable and is what I try to do. (says the guy who ordered [b]3[b/] last month.

Aoi,
Do you have the other Juuki Gattai Mugen sets?
Taaron
Feb 3 2007, 08:25 PM
Nope! Juuki Gattai Mugen Builder is my first. I had planned on getting Police or Fire back when Amenbo had them in stock, but then they sold out...so when I saw Mugen Builder on eBay (which was before Rosalinda Trading Post put up Police and Fire) I decided to hop on it, then I could say I have at least one of them.
Anyways, I'm glad I got these guys...although, I'm glad I got Uzumakidori last. If he'd been one of my first figures, I don't think I would of continued collecting. There's just something about him that feels off. (Not sure if it's from Bandai Asia, instead of Bandai Japan..) but Mugen Builder is from Bandai Asia too, and he feels like the rest of my Mugenbine sets. Anyways, since I've cleaned my room; I've spent most of the day playing with Builder. I really really like him. I'm certainly going to work on the rest of the Juuki Gattai sets. (I don't see why they didn't sell well. They're awesome!)
Any how, here's one of my original designs I came up with Mugen Builder.

That is a cool pen/pencil holder there Aoi. I have two figures from Bandai Asia—Iron Beetle & Launcher Zaurus. They seem to be Japanese overstock with stickers covering the Japanese contact info and english instructions. The figures seem to be the same quality as the other figures from Japan that I have. Sorry to hear that your Uzumakidori is "off". You could always buy a Japanese one and take the "off" one to work...
Also you made me pull my Uzumakidori out of storage and put it on display...

I believe I promised you some pics of robots I created:

Yeah..I'm kind of tempted to take part Uzumakidori's leg apart and see why his foot hinge is so loose feeling..but that'll have to be after awhile. I currently have the three Gattai'd. (and I reaally like the look of the gattai mode.)
Just wondering..what's the big face on Mugen Builder for? It's not used in any of his individual combined modes.

All of them have a big face. Hercules has two big heads. It is so you can make even bigger robots with porportionate heads.
I found the top pics off some Mugenbine sites
edit: I couldn't find a pic on the internet of the 2 heads so I snapped this one of herc's 2 heads.
I don't know why the one on the right is so popular; I actually like the look of the one on the left more.

Amenbo has Launcher Zaurus (white & black)? Or do you mean Lead Zaurus (blue)? (it is easy to get them mixed up).
When did you order LZ? I am still waiting for Powerful Tyranno & Speed Eagle sets from them.
LZ is a pretty cool figure. I do like the fact that Lead Zaurus has the extra guns so it is easier to make the big robot mode for him.

nope, my bad... it was lead saurus.
on a side note, right after I got my shipping confermation from amenbo, I also got a shipping confermation from hlj for quest knight.
I ordered from amenbo first, with a prepaid visa giftcard i got for christmas. it's a gift card, but it rings up like a visa credit card. they said they couldn't process the card. so I said try it again. I got no response, so, after about 2 weeks, I placed an order with HLJ for quest knight. they gave me my shipping confermation 3 days later. yesterday, I got a shipping confermation from amenbo.
there was only $25us on the card.
either one of them is going to cancel the order, or I'll wind up with a free mugenbine. or I'll wuss out and tell one of them.

I just got them in the mail today —WOOT!!! These guys are really cool. Alot of changes to the series for the best IMO.
And I am surprised at the size of these guys.
Here is my initial take on this series:
+ :
• more pegs and holes per part
• more parts in the set
• new pilot figure and command module
• new combined robots are a bit more articulated
• no more mugen engines
• new "core" robot is bigger
- :
• no Mugenroid/Turboroid core robots
• chest piece sticks out a bit too much for my liking
• gaping hole in back where "core" robot head is stored in base robot mode
• pilot's arms don't move
Overall I think these figures are some of the best ones Bandai has put out.
