I got this picture from
here of this cool combination of turbo animal force characters that use Gear Tortoise's guns as guns (but he isn't holding them). This pic is what made me order the Turbo Animal Force figures.

I built him as soon as I got the figures (Arch Tiger, Guard Kong, Saga Falcon, Impact Dile, Wing Bat, and Gear Tortoise). He was a bit tricky and alot of parts were left out (which became its weapon). He was pretty top heavy so I had to create some supports out of the "legs" of Arch Tiger and Saga Falcon. Here is how I built him:

Think I did try running the Prominence site thru Babelfish once, and am pretty sure it helped. I guess you could try copying and pasting the bits you want to read into Babelfish - just hope you can read Engrish!!
EDIT: Oh well, so much for that idea... DOH!!!

Jan 18 2007, 09:53 AM
Babelfish won't translate their posted "image" of text. What they wrote in the comment box is "temporary image" and crap like that. It looks like someone is ranting! The site used to get pictures from japanese soft porn sites every once in a while before he put up filters to stop it! It was great go and look up toys and you get some Asian girls boobs instead LOL!

Has anyone tried uploading a picture here? I was going to show a few Keybots creations, but I can't get it to work. It keeps telling me "upload failed" ! WTF?
Okay, I got it to work! I guess there has been alot of work going on in the site so it was offline.

Hey guys!
Check with Ryan at Fan2Fan he can get the Mugenbine candy toys!
My set cost $17.50 plus shipping. ( I ship by EMS, which is expensive, as much if not more than the toy itself, but I do get it in about 4 days and theres less time for it to get damaged in shipping! )
You can contact him through his site:http://www.fantofan.jp/
Give him some time to respond, he gets hundreds of requests a week!
He can also get other items as I had him get me some Keybots I was missing that no one was carrying!

Well, am waiting for Ryan to see how much postage is gonna be for the Zord Elephant he's holding aside for me. At least I haven't paid for the thing yet, unlike some other bits I've got on order which have yet to ship (sorry for griping).
Must remember this coming week to have a go at trying to fit as many of my sets together as possible, without the whole lot falling over and causing an earthquake!!

I've never seen them at TRU State-side. I could be wrong, but I've never even seen a press release from Bandai America that they are releasing them in the states. ( Which is highly doubtful given the chocking hazard the "key" represents to "STUPID" American children. )
They are carried by TRU Japan and have a couple of TRU exclusives.

Guess seeing these is even more insentive for me to start getting duplicate sets now (especially the Juuki Gattai sets and maybe even the Sector Double set if I have enough dosh left over). But that will depend on a few things, as well as my Gundam turning up first!!

Sorry to hear about that Jimmy.
Its funny how these things go. I hear such great things from other people on the service Hobby Link Japan provides, yet everytime I order from them I get screwed. Now you order from Amenbo, a company I've never had problems with, and you're getting the shaft.
I can't help but wonder if this is an on going problem with the inventory and improvements they're trying to do to their web ordering system? Oh well, "The best laid plans of mice and men!".
UncleJoe420
Jan 24 2007, 01:51 AM
Well, I too am having probs with Amenbo, but i dropped them a line via Paypal (who handled the transaction), and the following day i got a message saying they're currently working through a bit of a back-log with orders, and are working to get my order out within the next few days!! Assuming you used Paypal to order your items from them, perhaps you should try contacting them like I did.... Worth a shot, I suppose!!
Nobody
Jan 24 2007, 02:10 AM
Thats a great idea! I never thought of contacting them through Paypal!
I hope the problems they are having are short term. Like I've said previously, I've been dealing with Amenbo for the past 5-6 years and I've never had any problems, but in that time they've never done an inventory and web upgrade of this magnitude like they are doing now. I'll just wait and see how it goes from here. I still think they're better than HLJ.
A word of warning about Fan2Fan, he sometimes takes awhile to respond so don't get too discouraged by the lack of communication. Ryan answers every request, which can be a daunting task given the amount of e-mails he gets. He will get back to you.

how exactly do you contact them thru paypal?
UncleJoe420
Jan 24 2007, 05:39 AM
You go to Paypal, and go through their Resolution Centre - they will then ask what kind of problem you have, and with whom. you can then drop the people concerned a message / email via Paypal, and that should get a response (hopefully). Sorry if this explanation is not detailed; I will try and edit it later with more specific instructions, ok?

There are no sites or BBS's like Prominence for Keybots. The one thing you need to know is Plex the designers of Mugenbine offer incentives to have a site like Prominence. They'll pay for "x" amount of the sites cost.
Thats why there are so many Mugenbine sites!
A neat site to see some Keybot customs is :

Sorry to hear about you shipping problems with Amenbo guys. I too am waiting for Amenbo to send out my figs (Speed eagle & powerful Tyrano). I also noted that these figs are out of stock on their site. I don't know if we are waiting for a new shipment to arrive or if they are totally swamped. I have used them a number of times and this is the first time I've had to wait this long for a shipment to arrive. I still plan on using them in the future because they do have good service and package their products well and are cheaper than HLJ.
Good luck and hopefully everyone will get their orders shipped out soon.

Here are all my Keybot web links that I have. There aren't that many out there.
1. The official Keybots homepage. Run around there are all kinds of fun things on this site.
http://sss.channel.or.jp/sss/key/index.html 2. Key+Toy. A great site with a few customs. The combinations are great! Some things I would never have thought of!
http://keytoy.web.fc2.com/ 3. A small keybot site but they do have more up-to-date news and links.
http://kanikanr.blog46.fc2.com/blog-entry-154.html Thats it! Like I said not that many sites dedicated to Keybots toys. If you want reviews, check out Blackfeather's site. He's reviewed most of the newer Keybot line.
