I FINALLY found and bought the...not 100% sure what to call it HLJ has it listed here as "MR Mugenbine Gattai Orders", ive also seen it called The Mugenbine Year Book...On ebay...got it for around $25...dunno if its got the sticker sheet still intact, dont care either...Just one more MRM product to add to the collection =]

Now if only i knew someone in Japan or someone who didnt mind useing RINKYA...theres a Black Airleon and a Mugenroid General set both up on Yahoo Japan...so close yet so far...

Also, Any of you guys fans of the Kabaya DUEL KNIGHTS and DUEL KNIGHTS NEXT sets of candy toys? i just got some in the mail today and they are AWESOME! Some of the parts are also kinda compatible with MRM stuff too, which makes them into even more Badass Tiny Badasses then they were before hehe =] (seems like im only missing one set of these guys...i think its the first set with the Flame Armor parts...im sure ill find it eventually though)

Also, any of you know where to find them online other than ebay? Or any sites that sell Kabaya Candy Toy sets? i cant seem to find any.

What's the Duel Knights/Duel Knights Next? Anything similar to the Duel Maids toyline?

Never heard of Duel Maids...but heres some pics from what i THINK is the most recent set of the Duel Knights Next...Theres some sets that are more Knight like and less Gundamish...and some sets also come with a Dragon...like this set Here...Theres also 2 sets, the Duel Knights Next sets, up on ebay right now for pretty decent prices.

Theyre TINY...like just about 4" tall...but most of them, the ones that dont "treansform", had TONS of articulation...neck, shoulder, upper bicep swivel, elbow, wrist, waist, thigh, knee, and ankle joints...And they all have some parts that form together to make Armor they can wear, or in the case of the NEXT sets, a Weapons platform.

theyre pretty kickass little guys...Theyre made by Kabaya in partnership with VOLKS...which is probably why they rule, Volks makes good stuff.

Its a shame, BBTS used to be such a good company to deal with. But his international items are really priced high and then he adds 30% for shipping. Oh how I wish my brother stayed in Japan! As for Duel Maids, FantoFan used to carry them...but I can't find them on their site anymore. I'll keep an eye out and post if I stumble over them again. As for being in Japan, I know what y'mean, Edd. The more stuff I come across the more I go "Damn. I need to be in Japan." One of my mom's co-workers is being stationed in Japan, we tried to see if I could hide in her luggage on the way there. No go

Sorry to hear they couldn't smuggle you over there, but I would think getting home with all your loot would be harder!

Yes you are correct. The first set makes up a humanoid combiner and the second set makes a dragon like figure. They both combine together to make the last robot.

If all 12 sets combine to form that last robot, that thing is gonna be huge!! Am hoping this will be a set that breaks the 12-inch-tall barrier!! hehehe

It will depend on how the set combines. It may take priority on bulk over height. Either way I'll form an opinion when the set is shown as something other then sillouttes.

Good point Roan - seeing as how these sets are supposed to be out in January 'n' February, with any luck decent pix of them should be out by Crimbo..

And while I think to ask - does anyone know the name of the Muigen Pirate / Mugen Leviathan combo? I think someone did mention the name Saint Marine a few pages ago, so could that be it? I guess as an alternative, I might call it Mugen Poseidon.. lol

ahh...seems i shouldnt post when i havent slept in like 39 hours hehe...i figured that dragon silhouette was gonna be something similar to Mugen Leviathan combining with Pirate.

I just hope i have an easier time getting these upcoming sets than i did with pirate...then again...no matter how much trouble goes into attaining any of these...theyre all worth it =]

Mugen Leviathan and Mugen pirates combo is called Mugen Kaiou (Sea King) Funnily enough Mugen poseidon was my initial thought of what the name of Pirates was going to be. I may still call it that .

Just received the new Candy Toy set so I just wanted to drop a note and say...
NYAH! NYAH! I GOT MINE AND YOU DON'T LA LA LA LA LA!

Be prepared to spend about an hour and a half to put all the stickers on these guys, Lots of little stickers and some real delicate ones. Like Mugen Whales body stickers very finely cut.
I do have to say this though, Bandai does make the best stickers! They are very accurately cut and actually stick to the product!
These are cool! MugenKraken is my favorite, followed by MugenStingRay! MugenShark is cool, MugenWhale and MugenCaptain okay. The big disappointment is MugenScissors. I just feel it could have been done a lot nicer.
I have not combined them yet, I'll wait till tomorrow.

It was on ebay. Theres several on there now though they may be on the expensive side.

I sat down and combined the Sea Beasts, here are some thoughts about MugenPirates.
He's a BIG figure. About a half to 3/4 of an inch taller than MugenArthur. He has a more bulkier appearance, this guy looks like he's tough.
Looks aside, he does have a problem, his legs are not very stable. Unlike MugenPharoah and MugenArthur, they dropped the ball on his leg design. He is "wobblely", as he doesn't really have much of a foot to stand on. The foot does not pivot side to side like MugenPharoah also. ( Who I thought had one of the best foot/leg designs.) I found that reversing the construction of the foot works better. In other words turn part 4G around and plug in the parts accordingly. You'll see what I mean when you look at the instruction sheet. Plug the "Toe" in where the "MugenCaptain leg" should go and the leg where the toe should go. ( see scan )
Other than the foot problem, this guy is solid! All plug and port connections are very tight, almost too tight, so he holds poses great! The color scheme is great! You are hard pressed to see any of the individual sea beasts in the gattai.
I'm very excited to see what they come out with for the MugenVishnu* design!
*Thats not an official name its just what I'm gonna call it for now.

Good news everyone - my Mugen Pirates arrived about 10 minutes ago!! Hard to believe they got here all the way from Japan in just under 3 days!!

I just finished putting stickers on Arthur...and i must say, i have never hated putting stickers on something as much as i hated putting them on the Unicorns mane.

Also, what happened to the CANDY?!?! the Gum's allright...but its no Candy Toy Candy.

And since im still jonsing for Mugen action, cause Pirate hasn't arrived yet, i finally dug out the set of the first candy toys i order'd earlier this year and did them too hehe =]

Not solid plastic? Does that mean it's fragile?

What Edd means that is there isn't a solid surface for the stickers to adhere to - merely some kind of framework. Is kinda like the tail / sword part of Mugen Leviathan, if that helps explain it.

Pirates is not fragile at all. In fact it is even more solid than if they didn't use this manufacturing trick. What you get, for example is a fin/wing that is solid on one side and grated on the other. Here I'll post a scan it will illustrate it better. This makes the piece firmer so it won't bend easily. Good for a child's toy.
Toy companies do this as its cost effective also. Instead of making 2 molds (front and back) you have one mold. Plus you don't have to pay someone to put the two pieces together!
Putting stickers on covers it up but the stickers have less surface to grip on and they don't generally like that! I'm not having any problems other than MugenShark's fins they don't stick so well and that's on the solid parts.
A little Krylon clear coat sprayed on them will hold them down good!

Ahh, I see. When y'said not-solid, I was thinking it might of had open parts of the mold (like holes) and not the open backing.

I gotcha now.

Hi guys, I just picked up my first Mugenbine set, a MISB Launcher Saurus on eBay. It's smaller than I thought but very very cool. I'm a big Space Shuttle geek, so this is right up my alley. Problem is, I think I'm hooked. I understand this set combines with the Mugen Fire and Mugen Police sets, to form an exceedingly cool space shuttle launch pad and tower. *wants!*

Anybody have those sets? Any pics to share? Thx!

Haven't seen the launch pad & tower mode, but it might be behind the Bandai Asia sticker on the package (I'd remove it, but I'm a bit afraid of damaging the box. ) but, I can tell y'Mugen Fire & Mugen Police are pretty cool sets.

Is Mugen Koshinju the new Hindu-themed set?

I think the Toshinju must be the first of the Hindu-themed sets, as that would coincide with past details we've been given about these sets. Either way, have pre-ordered myself a set!!

I'm still digging out that Zeon Red turned out. Did you do a coat of blue on the scorpion claws, then a coat of the zeon red ontop of the blue?

Also, Hip-hoptimus, I realized I actually used Mugen Fire's base mode as a 'shuttle launchpad' with Galaxy Rex. I'll probably take out the sets in question this weekend and snap off some pictures.

They've been going rather cheaply on eBay. Last time I looked, I think they were something like $15 apiece w/ $9 shipping. If they combine shipping, or charge a lower shipping fee for the second one, that's still a good deal. I think I paid somewhere around $35 for one of mine, after shipping.

Thanks Aoi; I just used the Zeon Dark Red colour on the claws, as it came it really very close to the purple claw stickers anyway. Plus, I think using it on the black plastic might have helped darken it too..
