My brother just contacted me and he got me two of them. He'll be sending them next week to me. HOORAY!
just curious, how much is he getting them for? And if he was a good brother, he would ship them to you this week....

He got them for 3850 yen at some small hobby store in Akihabara. My brother is a tech junkie! If its new he has to own it! So he loves Akihabara! He has to wait till he gets back to Osaka to ship it!
Heres some pictures from Hobby Link Japan of the box for DFD!

Sold! I might have to hold off on getting the older toys and get ahold of DFD.
Speaking of older toys, Air Leon came in, as did the stuff from Rosalinda. Unfortunately, Rosalinda wanted the signature. Since I was at work, it'll have to wait a day or few. Air Leon didn't require a signature, so it was placed/cramed rather nicely into the mailbox.

Powspebuitr! ...or not. Man. I'm having a hell of a time coming up with names this weekend.
It looks good, though. Is the item in his hand supposed to be a sword, or a giant hammer?
I also like how y'put Bumblebee in there looking up at him. "Damn, he's tall." (Kind of like me and Prime's "...Damn. That's alot of a boxes" pose on my last photo.)
Also, does anyone know what month/year the pre-Mugen KinOuJin x GinOuJin Candy sets were released?

It's supposed to be a battle axe. I made it after I finalized the legs and started work on the torso. It is a bit smaller than I originally envisioned. Oh well.
Thanks for the name ideas and using contributions, how does "Build Golem 4" sound?

Sounds good to me! annnd..I'm surprised. I figured my 2nd package from Rosalinda would arrive Friday, it arrived today...but I gotta call the post and see if they can stay open a few minutes late, or pick it up Thursday.
Victory Leon and Overligan here I come! ...or here they come.
Also, quick question. These might be in the Mugenroids, but I disassembled my Powernose the other day, (It was a bit snifflely.) and there was a spring located in the torso...couldn't get it back in there, but I can't tell any difference..so what was it meant for? (and it's pretty rigid for a spring. Non-springy at all.)

You're lucky Aoi. I ordered my Rosalinda items (new Assault Leon & the first candy set of A, C, G) around the same time as you guys did (during that 50% off sale last month) and they haven't arrived. I got an email from Yi (I think that is his/her name) saying they accidentally sent mine on the slowest type of overdeas shipping (on a sea turtle apparently) available. They refunded my paypal the extra part of the shipping cost but I have to wait forever for them to come in.
As for your spring question Aoi, I don't know. I'm looking at a clear Mugenroid right now and he has two large springs in his shoulders and one smaller one in his waist. The smaller one seems to give the legs tension and keep them from getting too loose. Maybe that is what your mystery spring is for. If I had a Questknight Wedge Mugen, the translucent gray Questknight that was a raffle prize for the Machine Robo Wedge book, I could tell you but I can't even find good pictures of just the Turboroid.
Taaron
Aug 14 2007, 02:40 PM
Hm. I suppose tension is the case, though I don't know why. The candy figures don't have the springs in the shoulders and work just fine.
As for the shipping, sorry to hear that Overbite, but on the good side; if you forget about your package and it arrives out of the blue, at least you'll be receiving a surprise.

Also, Rosalinda has said they're supposed to be getting more/new Mugenbine stock in Sept. and/or Oct. They couldn't say what it is, until they receive the stock. Here's to hoping it'll be a few of the harder to find ones, like Mach Ptera or the Candy Sets.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the usual production run of Mugebines ends right about now and doesn't start up again until December with the New Line and gimmick. Thats why they usually throw out the big set at about this time. Thats not to say they may throw a repaint out there, but judging from years past we shouldn't see anything new for awhile. Remember they don't have a big Christmas selling season like we do, so theres no pressure to put anything new out. Maybe Bandai will surprise us! (and America will get out of this war!) Hold your breath everyone!

at least I am not the only one that hates the little plastic bags of despair. On the one hand, they are probably better for the paint and resist scratching yet they are such a pain to deal with. Hey guys. Got two more Mugenbines to add to my collection! Iron Beetle and Needle Stego...and I found a pleasant surprise in Needle Stego's box, that makes me ruler of all Mugenbine collectors! bwhahaha. (lightening cracks) Ooh! That scared me a little bit. Okay. Maybe not the ruler, but it does ruler things. Measures them too. A black Mugenbine Ruler that features Airleon up to Fangtiger on it. It's a bit too glossy to snap a good photo of, and my scanner is away from the computer, so I'll probably try in a couple nights to get a pic or scan it in.

No trays, just bigger bags, more like those food bags you see on TV. One long strip with 4 or 5 bine parts in them. Less of a hastle to open and the pieces are really locked in so they don't move in the clear plastic bag/strip at all. I like them better than the little bags! Heres a scan of what it looks like. still waiting for my DFD, Chase Dober & those Kotobukiya display stands from HLJ. I am also waiting (still!) for my replacement Assault Leo and the first three Candybines from Rosalinda Trading. I did receive my 2007 Candybines and Japanese BW Tigatron from F2F and a Death Emporer Candybine from a fellow Mugenbine collector on the tfw2005 boards. Death Emporer is really cool; probably my favorite of all the candybines. Mainly because the stickers are foil backed instead of paper backed like the rest of the candybines and the colors of the bine parts are more complementary than the other releases.

Hi Overbite

, all I need are the D, X, M, N, T, U, and Q sets. I think some of them are rare anyway. I got most of them from Rosalinda and an ebayer from Hawaii, (he has a few still listed, if you do a search for "machine robo") both have been great dealers. What's everyone's favorite? Launchersaurus is mine, for both robot and alt mode. But DFD looks mighty nice also.
