Well I went to Suncoast today to do the movie thang...and got my 2 "must see" flicks...

So tonight after work I shall go home and allow my mind to digest them...BUT...each is profound, but radically different...so who knows what my choice will do to my state of mind...

We have:

Ghost in the Shell2: Inocence...

And Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.

Needless to say, my perseptions shall be skewed lol

Here's a way to truly alter your perceptions:

1.) Borrow another TV and DVD player from a friend.
2.) Hook them up so that they sit by your current TV/DVD player.
3.) Watch both movies at the same time.

Tell us how that works out!

Ghost in the shell2

That will be profound.

I picked up Innocence, and while I found the movie worthwhile and provocative, I was overall underwhelmed with the disc. The most glaring flaw is the problem with the subtitles. Someone at Dreamworks really screwed this one up. The English language subtitles and the subtitles for the hearing impared are one in the same. The entire production run is like this, and Dreamworks has said nothing about fixing the problem. The extras aren't all that great either. The only consolation is that the transfer is superb, as is the film itself, despite the glaring flaw in the subtitles.

Oh, and for all you who poo-poo the use of subtitles, there is no English language audio track on this disc.
