No wonder you couldn't go too far into the water in the PS2 game thumbsdown.gif

I remember a couple years ago when that one dude made that giant Gundam in his backyard.

" his 18-foot hydraulic mecha - please don't call it a robot -"

heh heh, Mecha is soon to become a true word instead of anime jargon biggrintf.gif
Optics
it doesn't even look 18 feet, if its 18 feet then the guy has to at least be 9 feet tall
Blitz
now if robotwars had those things in them i would of watched it more often

I new this would happen......Mecha that will be the new house hold word.

Now veratechs will be the word for transforming vehicals.

I'm telling you guys thats our future.

When we are old and grey (those of us born in the early 70's late 60's) we'll be seeing fighter jets turn into robots or mechas ready for battle.

Doesn't "mecha" imply that it has a pilot?

Last time I checked, mecha have pilot's, they're robots without one.

Five cameras will be the real eyes, allowing the operator riding inside the steel contraption to see via a laptop computer and flatscreen monitor rigged inside.

Man this guy inspires me. What ambition!! And someone said that he's the same guy that created the GUNDAM in his back yard? Man he's just such a visionary. I'd travel to his part of town just to watch him work on his MECHA. If successful, he stands to be able to make a lot of money for his efforts of pioneering his own MECH. I hope he has much success. thumbsup1.gif bumblebeetounge.gif

Naw, I said it reminded me of that. No idea if it was the same guy. Wouldn't surprise me though.

It looks "slumped" over...could be closer to 18' than it seems in that pic.
