We still have a rumored Dodge Ram for sometime this year, and apparently, even some strong rumors (moreso than just the random musing that have occurred through most of the last year. And Hasbro promised "Big Things" for Alternators for 2005 during their phone conference thing) that the line will be expanded to include aircraft, at a higher pricepoint, soon.

We gotta have Starscream, that's for sure...

Anyways, don't get your hopes up too far. Even though the rumour's being substantiated a bit more than it has been in the past, it's still just that: a rumor.

Alternator Decepticons would be cool, and would definitely be worth the the price of admission alone. As for the possibilities of some alt trucks/vans. I'm all for it, it's about time Hasbro did a decent rendition of Ironhide, unlike the G1 Windshield head interpretation.

A pickup would be great, but I don't think a van would work out very well. A van would have a lot of open space inside, and I think this would make for lots of folding panels and kibble.

Not to mention light on appeal. I cant see anyone spotting a van in an alternators box alongside sportscars, jeeps, pickups, etc and yelling 'dude sweet, its a Windstar!'

Actually I know several people, including myself, who would freak out and say "dude sweet, its a Windstar!" but go figure.
