I've noticed that there are a few people rarely venture into the actual TF forums on this board... and some people have even been quoted as saying they haven't read/watched/bought anything TF related in years.

My question is, how many of you regular posters are NOT into TFs anymore or have never been.

i dont really watch the cartoons when they come on, havnt really since bw, the other series's got me bored after a while. but the figures rule! i love goin to the store and straight to the tf section to see what is new that i can buy

Yeh....I can't afford to buy up ALL the dvds, but I snag comics(DW and marvel) when I can. Figures are my main venture. I must confess though, it seems I check a lot more non-TF stuff sometimes.
Good idea, OPP. I was thinking of the same idea back when the Political Arena was hot.

I'm not the type that would buy everything that came out anyway, but due to financial forces, I haven't been able to do a lot of TF or TF related buying. A few here & there, like I got E Shockblast a couple weeks ago. But nothing for weeks before that.

Comics, toys, shows... I'm a geek and I'm not-to-proud of it.

yeah, i pretty much eat, sleep, and breath TFs with a little left over for Spiderman.... and my Girl Friend of course I still have no idea how i talked her into letting me put a TF cabinet in the living room

For me, half the time the TF discussions are/were overrun with Bodycount and BC-like posters, making it no fun for me to have a serious discussion without someone crapping in your face and making you feel like a total n00b. It was like trying to speak at a public seminar when someone kept pissing on your leg. Another thing was that I'd go to post my reply when someone would beat me to it, or else the discussion would veer into parts unknown. Now that BC is gone, I'm venturing towards the TF-related topics more, but the other two "problems" are probably here to stay. I can work around that, though.

I honestly havent had much interest in anything but Alts for a while. Last TF i bought was a BT tracks. GF looks pretty cool, but I just dont really have the cash for them anymore.

honistly im thinking of hulting my collecting for a year of so maybe just get a prime and megs here and thier. im getting sick of people calling me the TF guy and so on i still will watch the show and draw art but i will get back in the TF closet

i try to only collect the primes. as long as i have the transforming ones thats all that matters...

I never followed the comics, and I don't watch alot of the cartoons. It's the toys I like. Transformers & anything else that transforms.

My fiancee doesn't mind that I collect them, and wants me to get a nice cabinet for them, but it'd be seriously tough to convince her to put it in the living room.

Anyhow for those of you who listed a single person as a reason for posting, I most say it is absolutly amazing how much power you give to one being who to you is nothing more than a name on your computer screen.

I wish I could buy all the transformers that are out there, but I can't for two reasons.

1. I don't have the money.

2. They don't ing bring them all out here.

For example there are like 50 Ironhides to 1 complete Superion set.

yeah what happend to BC i knew he became a mod for the kitbash area then he lost his mob powers then he just droped off the radar

he got banned. see the 2005 list. on topic, i collect all i can although i dont watch the show very much.

Haven't watched any of the shows since the first episode of Armada. Last TFs I bought were a couple of BTs and RMs at OTFCC.

The last episode of Transformers I seen was some Aemada with Optimus Prime inside Unicron, finding out Side Ways was with Unicron the whole time. I dislike Armada and now Energon a lot. I didn't mind RiD but I hatted Beast Machines. I loved Beast Wars and everything that came before it. The last Transformer I bought was Energon Scorponok, even then the series sucked there was nothing to disqualify Scorpy from being a awesome toy. So I haven't seen or bought Transformers in a long time, if Hasbro doesn't produce a half decent series I may never go back. =(

Last figures Alt Meister and Energon Barricade. Last show watched GF ep1. Last comics WWI Vol. 2.

Sometimes I think I waste to much time with TFs...

I'm into it all. I buy every figure in the American lines. I get the comics (when there are comics.) I watch the shows. I even get the silly merchandise stuff like backpacks, watches, etc. If it's Transformers, I'm all about it.

I haven't seen a single Energon episode for a few months now. I get the toys, that is, the ones I like and if I can find them.

I think my interest in Transformers, as far as collecting is concerned, is starting to dry to up. It's hard to find new things here. I hate the hunt more and more. I may even call it quicks on collecting.

I buy ALOT of the figs. I skip some, mostly the re-paints and such, unless if it is a ALT re-paint or combiner limb. The show, I follow loosely. The comics, not really into 'em.

The last figure I got was sluggslinger.

I have all of G1 and season 3 of Beast Wars on DVD, the movie and one episode of Beast Machines on VHS. Lots of Armada that I taped off CN. Every episode of Transformers that WPP has fan subbed (Superlink, Masterforce, Headmasters). Episodes of Car Robots, Scramble City, Zone, and Galaxy Force (all un-subtitled). Almost all of the US Marvel TF comics, All (but the dealer specials) of the DW TF comics. Every TF trade paperback that has come into my comic shop.

My toys are mainly G1, MW, RiD, Armada, Universe, Alternators, Energon, TRU reissues, and Takara Micromaster reissues. I have every Armada piece except Nemesis Prime and the Optimus/Jetfire two pack. I have every Universe toy except the RiD Prime and Ultra Magnus. I have every Energon piece except Ultra Magnus so far. I would love to complete my G1 group and then work on imports but keeping up with Energon, Universe, and TRU is draining.

I feel like someday Hasbro will go through another TF down time and I will be able to catch up
