All of these 80's toy line come back and no M.A.S.K. I can't rmrmber who made these though. Did that company go under or just not see the profitable. Or could they not pass the toy safety laws that we have today?

MASK was made by Kenner, which got bought out by Hasbro. I don't think they've tried to bring them back. Regarding why it got cancelled, I think they just ran out of ideas to keep it going, and just fizzled out.

I remember M.A.S.K well, used to wake up on Saturday mornings to watch it, even had a couple of the toys. M.A.S.K would be good to reissue or remake if they went with the newer vehicle designs of this age, but maybe the humans could be left out and the vehicles could be automated instead. Unlikely to ever happen though.

the other seacons aren't sentient. Are they just drones controlled by Snap Trap then?

just a quick thought, MASK was 1/24th scale (Just like alternators

) Perhaps it would be a cooler link to TF than GI Joe (after all Matt Tracker really should trade in his Rhino truck for an Optimus Prime!)

Would prefer a Star Trek/Transformers crossover, Federation starships helping the Autobots fight the Decepticons. Like say...Starscream and the seekers taking on the Defiant. Would be great if M.A.S.K came back, there's plenty of ideas all around for vehicles. A M.A.S.K Lancer, with missiles in the headlights.

I would like a transformers/star wars crossover. Imagine, the Death Star comes to Cyberton, and just as it is about to fire its mega cannon thing Unicron comes and takes a big bite out of it. All the Imperials would be screaming and they would look like this-

. Then they would crash a star destroyer into Unicron. Yes, very awesome.

MASK was very enjoyable, and I have to agree with the comment about the Racing Season. There were only a couple of episodes in that season that I liked.
It was a tv show that always ended with laughter.
(The world almost got hit with a comet, we saved it. Bee Bop did something stupid, hahahahaha.)
I mostly like shows with continuity. Robotech was enjoyable because it was like that. It had a serious story to it, surrounded with music as the most powerful weapon to use against an enemy... Which isn't that hard to believe. I'm sure if two guys are fighting, and a cute chic jiggled by, they'd stop, watch her walk by, probably agree with each other of her hotness, and then either continue to fight, or go and chase after her.
MASK is a show that could come back with potential, but all they really are, is a team of superspies with their individually modified verhicles who fight terrorists.

Wrong! In US continuity, Snaptrap and the other five Seacons are sentient.
But in Japan, Turtlar is the only sentient one of the Seacons.

Starriors had weapons in their chest like a drill or saw blade and they had a wind up motor to make them move. They had those little guys in their head's like Zoids. Their was a 4 issue mini series from Marvel. They lasted for two years i think then faded away

I was huge on MASK when I was younger, and had most of the first and second wave toys; between me and my next door neighbor at the time, we had them all. I think the only one I have left now is "Volcano," the battery-powered monster van.
It was just never as big as MOTU, G.I. Joe, and Transformers, and let's not forget what really killed all of the above in the mid-late-80's: The Nintendo Entertainment System.
I agree with the comments about the racing season, but I'd have to say that the toys of that season were among the coolest (though not the most memorable) of the line. Of course, this was when MASK really "died". After the cartoon ended, Kenner released the final wave of toys: "Split Seconds." The gimmick was, the normal vehicles would split into two fighting vehicles, with the real pilot in one, and a "holographic duplicate"--a transparent plastic action figure-of the pilot in the other. These guys were impossible to find, and I only managed to snag one before they disappeared altogether; the Split Seconds are the ones fetching top dollar on eBay now.
I remember about ten years ago Kenner put out a toy line called
"Vor-Tech," where the vehicles had the same gimmick and even looked and transformed just like some MASK vehicles. The toys were smaller and the plastic was cruddier, though.

Actually it's not RT canon

. Mac Plus only applies to the original Macross series timeline.
For official RT canon it's RT2: The Sentinels, available as an extras disc with the final RT Macross boxed set.

I remember Vortech. It tried to bring back the old-skool days of M.A.S.K. but the toyline/series disappeared less than a year later. Too bad because some of the toys did pay homage to M.A.S.K. . I remember the cartoon was shown either before or after Beast Wars.

Ah, M.A.S.K....I was a greater fan of this cartoon over Transformers as a kid since I had more M.A.S.K. vehicles than Transformers back then. The M.A.S.K. toys are indeed fragile, especially the blasted doors of Thunderhawk. Manta also needs touching up on some of its gadgets. My favourite M.A.S.K. vehicles are Stilletto and Venom, both from the Split-seconds series. Rhino is rather charming too and can roughly be classified as a "Split-second", no?

M.A.S.K. was a great toy line, it's a shame hasbro doesn't consider releasing it again. Now I read that someone mentioned starriors and other series, well how about, Blackstar, the Force Five series, eh?
I have always imagined a transformers series based on giant super robots ala Shin Getter Robo style, just imagine the posibilities.
Any opinions about that?
