I noticed that too but I thought for the most part the people with them standing static have little room for poses as they tend to take up a lot of space when legs and arms are all akimbo. I know as my shelves are cramped with TFs in action poses many of which are obscured by those in front anyway. Maybe someday I'll get round to getting a decent digital camera and post some pics.

Bricks suck, unless they're small (like minibot small). So why would anyone get a figure that can be all ninja-style and then have it stand in a rigor mortis pose? Boring.
(If you can't tell, I'm all about the kewl posing.

I haven't enough room for poses...Although my Alternator shelf is chock-full of them.

I try to pose em up if I got the room. right now Robot Masters are having a battle on my computer desk, and the BW shelve is sorta about to go at it, but I had to straighten them up for space sake.

Bah... if it's too cramped, you're too old. No, wait - that's not right....
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is if there's not enough room, find more! Don't make your TFs pay the price and waste all the cool poses they could be in.

Easy to say. Harder to do.
In a way, I kinda like the 'arms at the sides' stance for a group of them. Gives a bit of a military feel. Like the troops lined up for inspection.

having mostly alts out on display, its hard to see but i have all of them in "action poses" BUT... i dunno what imma do with ravage, windcharger, wheeljack, and windchargers clone when they come out... imma have to move everything around again... it is a space saver not having them in a pose...but they look lifeless bricks to me and i didn't spend all this cash for them to look bored... so i have my alt collection doin what they do best... striking a pose!

I deal with the space issue by only have about 20-30 out at a time, and rotating about every week.

Two things...
If you wanna fiddle with just one of the toys, it's far easier to sneak one out of the rows if they're standing straight, rather than arms/legs/weapons sticking out in all directions and overlapping. As noted, this depends on how generous you get with shelf space.
And standing straight is more stable. My TFs quiver slightly when I walk by the dressers with most of 'em on top. It's hard to knock over a stiff pose. But precarious yet cool poses topple more easily...and once again, without lotsa shelf space, you end up with TF dominoes...
I'm also a fairly recent convert to articulation, so other than Binaltech, RiD, and some of the Energon, I don't have that many who make it worth it.
