http://www.americandreamcomics.com/index.p...102&itemid=5630I prefer DDP to handle the comic license IF they have the cash to fork over to Hasbro.
I loved their 1st GI Joe/TF crossover mini series, havent gotten to the 2nd one. I would like it if DDP could hire the artists who did the books cause, I like their interpretations of the various Bots/Cons, plus we see it on the toy packaging here and in japan. If they do 2 crossiver titles one set in GI joe world and on in the Tf world, would like it if the artists could do both crossover titles.

I really hope that DDP gets Transformers comic book license. I really don't like the idea of what DC may due to the series.

I hope DDP gets it...
I don't like the Full-Fledged DC Universe notion.

I didn't like DD's TFs that much. And I just can't see DC doing it, especially since Marvel's done it before. I'd like to see Marvel take it back.

while it would be kind of nifty for TF to get the DC treatment...just being able to have Elseworlds would be cool...or TFormers vs the Manhunters...just the idea that some how, Wheelie has the chance to get a GL ring scares me...
Devils Due I think could handle it better. I love how they run GI Joe...I bet with more at stake they would show TF the proper love...that and the possiblity that Voltron could meet Fort Max heh heh heh...Blazing Sword vs Brave Sword...

I'm not much of an avid comics reader, so all I can judge Devil's Due by is their TF/GiJoe crossover. With that, I was very far from pleased. I didn't like the storyline and I didn't like the art. So, if that crossover series is an example of how they would handle TF's, then there is a serious chance I will drop the line (after trying it out of course).
I just hope that whomever gets it will have the intelligence to take the best writers/artists that worked on the DW series. (Think that seems doubtful.)

If a bigger company like DC got the license would there be a possiblity of seeing any offshoot books like "Grimlock", or "Starscream"?
My choice is DC because of the ex-Marvel exclusive talent they signed in the last year,a dn the chance of all different kinds of crossovers.
Bublebee meets the Teen Titans!
Oo oo. Even better! Intro to DC universe idea! Braniac comes across a "dead" planet of inactive machines. He believes that the bots were the slaves of former aliens who fled the planet due to war, famine, disaster etc...He wants to turn the planet ino a home base to manufacture war machines to add to an intergalactic force of slave warriors he has been gathering.
He tries to hack the planet's main computer system- Vector Sig, and in doing so reawakens him, accidentally releasing the matrix from a hidden chamber which then revives the bots. There are no factions, so all the bots fights side by side to stop Braniac and whatever invasion squad he has rounded up.
After they fight him off, they can't decide on their path in the universe. Some think they should conquer, and others think they should remain peaceful. The conquer side (Cons) banishes the other smaller faction (Bots) to Earth where they take on disguises to avoid upsetting the balance there. The Bots quickly build a space bridge to start trying to covertly retake Cybertron.
Once the bridge is open the Cons find out and come to Earth to fight the Bots, but when they see the massive amount of energy avaiable on earth they take on Earth alt forms to hide and try to steal it, because to out and out take it would be too hard with guys like Superman on the planet.
This is all off the top of my head right now. Now I'm very enthused about DC!
