It seems that only shows that are made in the US have inaccurate toys.

Well if Starscream's animation model looks anything like what I've seen then his figure is most definitely NOT show accurate.

I would say it is show accurate. Of course the characters in the show have more articulation than the toys do.

probably used modified cad drawings of the toys for the show models. Why reinvent when it's already there! Hope no screw holes are showin in the toon though!

Yeah, I was referring to the blue v the black for GF Starscream. I haven't seen the show, though, so it might be a really dark blue or something less noticable.

The blue vs. black thing looks to me like a specular issue? They made Starscream really shiny and the highlights look blue to me. But I can't seem to go check the shots right now.

The show took liberties here and there. GF Op's back in super mode for instance, in the show, there are white grills on there, in the toy, it's painted red like the rest of him.
Meg's arms are also more golden bronze/brown rather than blinding orange.
The toys are fairly accurate, I think it's just that Gonzo didn't wanna be so toy accurate as to hurt the look of the show. Energon for instance, was perhaps TOO accurate to the toys.
