So I finally got myself the production version of Alt Windcharger. This guy is sweet. I'm not going to review it because several reviews exist. So I'm just including some pics of it with the shaft added

do you have to glue the pin that holds the barrel in or does it just stick?

it stays put without glueing. Besides, if you glue it you wont be able to pull the shaft down to secure it in car mode.

couldn't the barrel swing around the pin while the pin stays put?

Yes, thats what I mean. I guess you can glue the pin to the engine but not to the shaft itself. But its not necessary though to glue it at all.

Could you cast the barrel so that it's the same colour as the test shots, or same colour as the part is attaches to?

Looks pretty good in black actually. Since alot of the rest of the gun is black as well, I think it looks great.

What would one charge if one was to decide to distribute these shafts to the Transformer public fans? (no one person in specific, just IF one were to make them then...)

I only ask because, that gun looks like poo without the barrel... I mean drive shaft, ya thats all it is just a drive shaft... darn Honda... I mean... lol I thought I would be able to live without it, but seeing it with just changed my mind.

Tried but I couldn't get the exact color. It was either too light or too dark which is why I went with black.

so wc is already being found, i'm still behind one with swindle, oh well x-mas left nothing but streaks everywhere in my area, the shaft looks fine in black, i can't wait to find them

Those stupid peacenicks at Honda! You'd think being a Japanese company they would understand about this sort of subject, but no, they don't.

I too would like the driveshaft to complete Windchargers gun, once I get Windcharger that it. At first I didn't mind, but now is see that the gun does lose something without the diveshaft/barrel. They didn't even try to make it into a small pistol, they just removed the barrel and left the attachment point as is. Even a short barrel would have been better.

You'd have thought they could have put something on there. I noticed how they altered the box art as well to have him shooting.... his "shield"? I think Sideswipe just got jealous 'cuz Windcharger is like a cooler version of him, and "swiped" his gun.

How good is this Alternator compare to others?

Bearing in mind I don't own Grimlock, Meister, or Tracks, he is the best one by far. He's Sideswipe done right, more or less. What really surprises me is how big he folds out to be from such a tiny car. He's taller than Silverstreak, which is the only one I have on hand for comparison.

And I've found that his gun looks better if you turn it around. More of a wide, flat railgun type thing. I still think I am going to get the shaft from Viagra Prime though. And that was the most wrong sentence I have ever written in my life.
