Just thought Canada could use its own thread on TF sightings. Guess I'll start was in Sherbrook Quebec, TRU and Zellers only have wave 1-1.5 Energon and Alt Smokescreen. Wal-Mart in Rock Forrest has Alt Sideswipe and some Wave 1-1.5 Energon.

Was in Toronto last week but I know Energon wave 1-2 has been sighted along with Alt Sideswipe and Smokescreen.

Here in Toronto at the TRU at Steeles and Hilda (close to Yonge) they had tons of 20th Prime.

Also they were well stocked with regards to Energon. Lots of Scorpy, Prime Tidalwave, Ironhide, Jetfire, Hot Shot, Prowl, Rodimus (which I bought ), Inferno, and Snowcat. They had a few Enercrons that were actually black. They also still had some Armadacrons in Enercrons box.
The also had one Starscream (which I also bought ).
They are also having a 40% off sale on all Armada products.

They were quite well stocked with reissues too.

in montreal we have
at tru 20th optimus
at wal-mart i saw (and bought) wave 2 energon deluxes and we finally got the energon wave 2 basics

Here in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Zellars just got in 2 more Energon Hot Shots, 1 Inferno, and one Starscream, 2 Perceptors and HAD ONE Cruellock

On the Universe side, they got Ratchet, Inferno, Skywarp, and Blackarachnia.

May be this topic should focus on East coast?

Was reading up on 2005boards, and in the Canadian sightings thread, somebody had posted up a sighting of Landmine at Zellers, for, get this, $15 CAD.

Naturally I wanted in on this action, so I called a store, and lo and behold, it scanned out to be $14.99.

So Zellers shoppers, get out there and search, search, search! (I do certainly hope they don't fix this by the time my dad gets off work... that would suck. )

I found mine up in Newmarket, but that was because of two reasons:

One, I called them up first cause they opened first (8:00 am)

Secondly, my dad works in that area.

Unfortunately, the one I got seems to be the only one in Newmarket...

As for GTA Zellers, I know there's none at Malvern, but check all the other ones (Markington Square, Golden Mile, Parkway Mall, etc.) Once you find one

As for Wave 2 basics, yep, I've seen 'em. Personally, I picked up my Divebomb and Perceptor a few weeks ago at Walmart Scarborough Town (don't bother, checked yesterday for, yes, an Arcee *HA! WTF was I thinking?*, but they only restocked the deluxes.

I DID see a Signal Flare and a Perceptor at Zellers Malvern though, so you might want to check out Zellers for the Basics as well.

Hmm, it seems like that Zellers has adopted the pricing scheme of Walmart... perhaps FINALLY I can turn to a fully Canadian store for my toy fix.

Actually, if anyone needs helping finding a cheap Landmine, and lives/can meet in and around the McCowan and Steeles or Scarborough Town Center, LMK.

I work out in Oshawa, so I can try looking there, and Oshawa has plenty of Zellers, I'l tell you that much.

Ohhh I love Oshawa. And the Whitby Toys R Us is nice, but man that small little Wal-mart on the other side of the road, with the defunct mini mall , is pure suckage. But yeah that area is nice. Nice big movie complex and all in there. Love the Players movie complex near Zellars. My fiance lives up in Peterborough, and I visited the area last summer. I'll check back in here for new items so when the weather is nice I can have her go pick up some things for me...lol. Your so lucky most items you get WAY before the states do.

Hey everyone thanks to the tips by everyone I decided to check the tiny town of Orillia out on my way to the casino The zellers in Orillia Square had 1 landmine at 15 dollars and all 4 wave 2 basics. A few wave 2 basics are still in that store but no more landmines. It appears as though each store only gets 1 landmine. Good luck hunting.

And Ironhide, we don't get everything before the states... it's been much better as of late, since I believe the national distribution strategy for Hasbro Canada has been altered to close the gap between Canada and most of the US. Seems like the figured out we buy them here too.

Yup I agree Ironhide we hardly ever get things before the USA. We also miss out on most exclusives. (Ie. Walmart).

*Eh true, the exclusives would be a bummer not to get, but places like TRU usually get the G1 re-issues quicker, well at least more quick than West Virginia's TRU's. We still havent got Rodamus Prime, or Dirge/ Ramjet, who ever the new jet thats out is called.

I picked up Arcee and Insecticon at the Scarborough Town Center Walmart last night. Only set there, but other sightings (one in Markham, one in Misissauga) have been reported as well.

if your talking about megs, then yes. Currently he is a US walmart exclusive. We wont see him in canada until he hits the rest of the US chains. My guess is 2 more months.

Just checked the Toys'r'us in Sherbrooke Qc and I found... mmmm... about 10 G1 Reissue Dirge. The normal price was 39.99$+tx... but it was in special for 23.97$. So if some peoples in the Eastern Township want him, now its the time to get him.

I plan on being in Moncton NewBrunswick this weekend and was wonering if anyone who lives in tha area could tell me, is there any copies of 20th Aniversary Optimus available in the area? if so where? and how much was it?

Came back from Kennedy/Sheppard Walmart, picked up energon bulkhead, arcee, mirage, demolisher.
I got the last bulkhead, arcee, and demolisher I believe, there are 3 mirage left. Go take a look guys, you might be lucky.
Still looking for new energon figures, please let me know if you see any in the GTA.

Has Energon Megatron been seen in ANY Canadian stores yet?

i have yet to see a megatron, i have just picked up a mirage, cool toy!!

In Saint John, New Brunswick, I didn't have alot of time to look Saturday night(June 19th), all I got a chance to visit was the TRU, but I think I saw 20th AV Primes for $99.99cdn, Alternators Smokescreen for $34.99cdn, and there's currently a Sale on all G1 Reissues that are normally $39.99cdn. 50% off, for a grand total of 19.99! All that's left are Grapple, Inferno, Jazz, Silverstreak, Smokescreen, Red alert, Hoist, and I think Dirge was also on sale. There were no Prowl's left there (the one I was looking for darnit! Uber-missile "Meister" Jazz will suffice.) They also have Rodimus Prime, Rodimus Major(Hot Rod), Thundercracker and Skywarp, but they're not on sale, they're all 44.99(except for Hot Rod @ 29.99). I didn't get much of a chance to look over the rest but I think I saw Energon Prime, and RID Optimus Primal, and a slew more of Energon and Universe figures, don't know the prices.

I'll update the post if I can after the next time I'm in the Mall, hopefully this week.

Speaking of that TRU, I went to it today and found 3 Energon Prime's with the embossed code and mouth plate. I quickly snatched one up for myself, and yes, it had the mouth plate as promised.

Got him on the last day of last weeks sale (Friday), man it looks nice! and the white weapons match his original counterpart to a T. The only difference between it and the original G1 model I can tell is the Lamborgini badge sticker on the hood now has a Star on it, and the rear licence plate is blank (doesn't say "Countach")... But the Launcher looks as if they used the same mould as the original and could be "Armed" if you just get a spring for it. Also, the Rubsign is on the underside of the front (mines under the left headlight) and the Stamping reads Hasbro '02 '04, Takara Co. LTD 2002...

1 Offshoot (signal flare repaint) and 1 Strongarm repaint at McCowan/Highway 7 Walmart.
There were at least 2 arcee and 1 insecticon

st. kits, ontario TRU-3 omega supremes, and also the blaster and sword, i thought the sword was a megatron because it was face down, but then went shoot!!

On vacation, road tripping up in Norhtern Ontario, came across a Walmart in Thunder Bay that had 20th Anniversary Optimus Primes (too many, a dozen I think) for $50 Canadian each, regular price makes me wish I waited to buy mine...

i read one seibertron.com that the TRU in whitby had Mirage and Cliffjumper and same with the one in Oshawa. im on my way to the Morningside Mall Walmart now so i'll keep you guys posted. not expecting anything though.

morningside walmart is absolutely hopeless. not only is the selection bad, it is disorganized and in a bad location in the toy section -_-.
