Yes, they probably would. This is a store that was pricing BTs at $70+, MP02 for $200, and so on... I think the only competitive priced item I've ever come across was the Masterpiece Voltron they had for $170; then again, it was MIB item.
All in all though, at least the Classics are in Canadian soil.

if it's in a comic store, then chances are they are smuggled from the states. the easiest way to check is to see if they have any french text on the packaging

TRU is having a cybertron scout clearance at half price $4.97 but most scouts are prolly gone by now

so i wouldn't say classics is "officially" on canadian soil yet until TRU has cleared all their shelf spaces of cybertron stuff

... except for a few Backstops and Giant Planet MiniconTeams at TRU Woodbridge...

hasbro gave my friend a general response that they will ship another but i am not too hopeful, or maybe it will take a year or something

Wal-mart in Square One Mississuaga has tons of classic OP and megatron, as well as all the deluxe classic figure (starscream, bumblebee, astrotrain, and hot rod)...Sadly, the deluxe was selling for $16.xx each, but both OP and megatron was selling for $29.92. I was shocked to see that the deluxes were more expensive than toysrus.

1) I believe the Starscream should be "Supreme" class, not "Mega". ("Mega" is the Japanese equivalent to our "Voyager"). Unless you saw Mega-class Galaxy Force Starscream, which is a whole other story...

ya im going to go a bit off-topic now since i am not reporting on east coast sightings....

but crap, i am sorely disappointed with the prices here in hongkong, at least for hasbro stuff, they cost the same as canadian prices (meaning, it cost more than the US retail price).....but i guess its partly because there's a hasbro branch in hk which may be controlling the prices......and not only that, classics is very scarce in terms of availability

but both MP primes (both MP01 and one with trailer) are quite cheap...

i am currently thinking if i should just wait until i return to toronto to buy the classics

How cheap is "quite cheap"?

500HKD for MP01 and 800HKD for complete version, which is 65USD and slightly over 100USD respectively. that was actually around how much i paid for my MP01 a few years back when i was in tokyo. given how import stores can easily charge you 100USD for MP01 (if not more) i think it's quite good

every place has MP01 in stock now, i wonder if takara re-mass-produced MP01 along with the complete version, that's because alongside with MP01 is MP02 which is still selling at the "normal" 100USD range

i did see titaninum scourge and primal for 15-ishUSD, cybertron primus is selling for around 45USD, kiss players cost about 45USD, i saw a few happywell's roadbots as well but didnt ask for price (if you want i can ask for you guys just for a reference)....although i have my eyes on some of revoltechs and the brave series toys right now (namely great goldran reissue http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/brave...koku-index.html and CM's brave-gokin gaofaigar http://www.cmscorp.jp/product/bg_gfg.htm but i think i will pass on the latter)....as well as an alt nemesis prime for about 35USD

oh for alts, tons of meisters and tracks but not mirage or prime

Classic OP vs Megatron 2 pack is in toyrus at Steeles and Yonge, and also the same toyrus in Missisauga.

Primus with 4 bonus minicon was also sighted at wal-mart at Sheppard and Kennedy.

toyrus at steeles and yonge has like 5 of them (as of this past saturaday), when the missisauga has more than 10 (as of this past saturaday).
