Ok, something important.

I asked a friend of mine who works at the local TRU to check the computer for Alternators.  And they're listed as 'X'.  That means they are still being made, but the stores are no longer carrying them.  That means: NO MORE ALTERNATORS AT TRU.

ok about that.. this is just my hunch..cause it happened one too many times... summer wise..Energon Surpreme was marked with and 'X'..thus stating it was a discontinue..but..3 months later on..they had like 4-8 of Energon Surpremes..same goes for a couple of other ones..sometimes..well to me..most of the times..just because an item is marked with an 'X' doesnt necessarily mean is discontinued..trust me that they will restock...just that they are really slow at it..

This doesn't bother me much, unless I'm going to take advantage of TRU refund policy.
I bought an Energon Omega Supreme for 19.92+tax at walmart and I tried to refund it to a TRU w/o a receipt, but I was refused 'coz it was marked as discontinued.
Luckily, I went to another TRU and they accepted my refund, but I got discounted store credit only 'coz they said such item was on sale b4. Anyway, I still earned extra store credits, allowing me to get 2 Energon basic figures and some batman figures.
Currently, I think TRU management is smarter than before. It's harder to refund items w/o receipts to them 'coz perhaps they now discover the loophole of their refund policy and they know some ppl like me doing hedge to earn extra store credits.

Saw some Cybertron today at TRU at St Laurent TRU (Ottawa). They've got Hot Shot, Landmine? Thundercracker and Dirtboss. Also, 4 Alpha Q's, lots of Sixshots, and some Dreadwinds and a bunch of Energon stuff still.

Kind of dissappointed with Dirtboss, looking at the toy... Landmine, meh... Thundercracker was cool enough to pick up... and I'm surprised by the fact Hotshot actaully looks cool... 

MB Walmart update.

Well they did it again.    Walmart restocked most of the second wave of  Energon combiner limbs and nothing else. In stock now though limited are

For some unexplainable reson they refuse to put out Terradive, an Windrazor. I had to obtain those with a little help in endcapping.

Also noteworthy shelfwarmers Alt Silverstreak, and Sideswipe have been price slashed at $10 a piece. I can see Cybertron showing up within the next week or so.

They still have large numbers of almost every figure I mentioned except for Hotshot, which they have none at all.

Also, they now have the Supreme Size Starscream.  I saw about 3, but there might have been more.  He looks reeeeeally bad that big, he's actually bigger looking than Unicron

I think you miss looking the other spot in Thornhill TRU.
They still have a few Hotshot(perhaps 10) in the basket near to those Hotwheel cars section. There 's another spot selling Cyberton deluxe items near to the toys car section.

btw, I found that they've updated their gijoe 2 pack figure section as well. They've new figures such as cobra slash & cobra slice, etc. But they don't have kamakura vs storm shadow & snake eyes vs swamp rat

No Cybertron HotShot were found in MArkville TRU;
I saw 2 Energon Galvatron though and other Energon items.

I went there to see if they've Storm Shadow with bike, but they only had green kamakura with green bike. so disappointing.

Made it to Winnipeg today, and the TRU in kildonan and Cybertron was in stock.

Sighted were nearly everything cept Optimus Prime.

Supersized Stascream was priced for just under $80. Yeah freaking right.

I walked out with Hotshot, Thundercracker, Ransack, and Overhaul.

Walmart in St Vital shopping centre was way overstocked in Energon Stormjet, Barricade, and Sledge, and about two Highwire and Kicker sets.

Didn't see any alts past shelfwarming Smokescreen,Silverstreak or Sideswipe. Sad really.   

Updates of Missisauga Wal-Mart:

Most Cybertron deluxe items there were gone, and only thundercracker & Landmine left;
however, surprisingly, they're selling Energon Dark Unicron at a clearance price of CAN$19.92+tax, and I estimated that there were over 15 boxes available.

ToysR'Us in Kingston NY has all Cybertron figs including a single huge Starscream for $50 - and I even left him there for you!

People can find DoubleDealer bootlegs at Market Village or Pacific Mall.
The price ranges from CAN$9.99 to $12.99.

You might also find some Energon bootlegs such as Energon HotShot, Inferno, Prowl, Cyclonus and Ironhide. But the price is kinda unreasonable. Energon deluxe bootleg is sold for CAN$9.99 each.

Clockers sighted in Scarborough Town Center Walmart

Zeller's Northumberland Mall just got the Cybertron Figures in.  Megatron, Optimus Prime, Crumplezone and Hot Shot all there.
Optimus and Megs will cost you $60 and Hot Shot and Crumplezone are $14.97.  Sometime soon I will check out Toys "R" Us in Whitby to see if I can find Optimus and Megs at a half-way decent price because $60 is a little too rich for my blood.

anyone seen any of the newer alternators at walmart? i have seen swerve et al except depthcharge at silversnail and some of them look mighty good..

Does every Burger King in Toronto or Greater Toronto Area sell Jetfire only right now?
I can't find other pieces at any BK near to my home.

btw, Winners now sells some Energon deluxe items, but the savings isn't much.
they sell them for CAN$9.99 only.

It's very disappointing 'coz Winners is famous for selling half price or even 1/3 of regular pricing clearance toys.

Anyone seen any Energon Beachcombers lately?  I haven't seen any in Manitoba yet, and I figure they aint coming cause Cybertron is filling the shelves.  If anybosy sees one and wants to put it on ebay, or even just sell it to me, that would be awesome.... let me know!

Not sure who else is out there hiding but for a collector you're well ahead of the game IMO.

i've heard that people have got grimlock. But thats the latest i heard. I just cross the border if i want to find sum alts.

I've heard murmurings of Windcharger and B. Ravage.  But have yet to see them myself.  (Hell.........saw Swindle and Grimlock for the first time yesterday.)

in Vancouver we have had

Deadend, grimlock and swindle show up at walmart only
tracks and meister show up at superstore only

I've seen Dead End at Superstores before.

Ya last year, I found DeadEnd, Meister (er I mean Jazz, er I mean...) and Tracks all at the same time at Superstore. At the time they also had a bunch of the older Alts.

Those were the last Alts I've seen in store. I bought the rest up to Shockwave (er.. blast) through online retailers.

So it sounds that for some reason i'm lucky to be living on PEI where i picked up all of my alts. that's strange for me to get them here, not only on the east coast, but, on the sandbar that is PEI.

Haven't seen one in ages.

Ive only gotten Smokescreen, Sideswipe, Silverstreak, Hound and Dead End.

Right when I decide to cut down my collecting to Alternators only (plus whatever else look decent).

I got Hound, Windcharger, Meister and Grimlock on Ebay or from other traders because I couldn't find them here.

Yeah, it appears that we stalled out at Swindle and Grimlock. You can find the other ones only at Hobby Stores that import them (sometimes just for you if you buy a case (or so I'm told).

I had Swindle in hand but was short on cash and really waiting for Grimlock, which I never saw.

Hoping that Superstore "Super-Stocks" Alts for Christmas. They stand a chance at catching us up completely if they do (it'd be a brilliant move, so I doubt they'll do it). Here's to hoping.

did ALTS ever release YELLOW tracks? or was it just BLUE tracks being released?

i know BT had both colours released.

no yellow was only BT...

the alt version was originally suppost to be yellow, but then do to plastic colouring they went with the fan fav blue

I'm back east right now and went to a Zellers (East) in Sherbrooke and they had an odd mix of Armada, Energon and Cybertron (just a few). At the TRU in Sherbrooke, they had all the new Cybertron toys up to wave 2 plus tons of Energon as well. Really surprised because that TRU used to suck a lot. They even had Armada Unicron, Armada Powerlinx Red Alert and Armada Overload. And a bunch of Universe (Primal, Tankor 2-pack, King Atlas, etc.) too.

Went to Lac-Megantic (PQ) today...

Resist the urge, that toy is fugly and it has the most annoying sounds in TF history.

I'm going to go Wal-Mart to see if they have any Cybertron figures that I don't already have.  I just want to see if I can get Optimus Prime and Megatron at a half-way decent price because the Leader Class Transformers are what I want and they're grossly overpriced at Zeller's while the scout class and deluxe class Cybertron figures are flying off of the shelves.  Quite possibly because they want to compete with Wal-Mart across the street I don't know but they're never going to sell Megatron and Optimus Prime at $60 a piece.
