ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) -- Dionne Marsh and Jana Francis each scored 17 points, leading No. 23 New Mexico to the most lopsided victory in school history, 101-22 over Morgan State on Tuesday night.
``I don't know what you can say about that game,'' Lobos coach Don Flanagan said. ``We took them out of the game. We wanted to make sure we got on them early and didn't give them any confidence in their game.''
New Mexico scored the first 15 points, while Morgan State missed its first 11 shots. Markeda Hollingsworth hit a 3-pointer 6:26 into the first half to end the drought.
The Lobos (10-1) limited Morgan State to 14-percent shooting and eight field goals -- both school records. New Mexico shot 36-for-64 from the field.
Marsh, who added seven rebounds and two blocks in a reserve role, shot 9-for-10 from the line.
New Mexico also got a career-high 13 points from Brandi Kimble and 11 from Judy Vogt.
Morgan State (1-8) was led by Sarissa Gaskins' seven points.
