I'm not really a fan of the show. way to kiddy for my tastes. I like my anime bloody, with dirty words and boobies.

I do have the old red version for gameboy, though, that game is extremely addicting.

you can skip the second generation games on the gameboy colour. (silver, gold, crystal) go right to ruby and sapphire on the Game boy advance.


I never really like gold or silver, their good, yeah, but not some of the better games.

I only like the games...the show is all about the kid and his loved raty....

I caught the final few minutes of it and I found that Ash's voice didn't sound quite right.  Was it a different actress that was voicing Ash or was it the same person?

Yeah everyone has a new voice.  Nintendo got the rights to the show back from 4kids this year, and got new voice actors the imate the olds ones. ((Thats one stupid idea))

How the voices were for me.

Ash's I'm use to the old bad voice actor after what 6-7 seasons you get use to it.

The broke((spelling?)) same with ash, and his voice want me to break my tv several times...

Misty her voice isn't that bad if I watched the show ((at all anymore)) she'd be standable.

May's new voice was 10Xs better, she should keep it. ((For the episode I've seen with her.  Like 5 or so))

Her brother didn't speak much at all so....

May's brother, Misty and Jesse all sounded the same to me. I'm thinking they kept Misty's voice cause the same actress does Jesse. Oak, Ash, Brock, James, Mew All different. Meowth was definitely Meowth's old voice. Squirtle sounded the same too. *Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasuar were voiced by the US directors If Im not mistaken. They did the voices themselves cause the didn't realize how many shows those characters would be in  *

Oh so I wasn't the only one who noticed that Ash's voice sounded different.  I don't think I'll ever get used to new voices.  I didn't even think I would get used to the new voices on Transformers Cybertron.

They actually did that? They actually went ahead and changed the voices?!

Haven't really watched Pokemon in ages, except for the recent Japanese Movie, Mew and the Wave-Master, Lucario(? Something like that. It sucks not remembering the name, cause I actually liked it. One of my favorite Pokemon movies so far.) Anyhow, calling MoTMP a movie was a bit of BS advertising, as it was just a TV Special...but that's not why I'm posting.

If you've been following the news; Pokemon-USA, in othewords Nintendo themselves, had taken the rights away from 4Kids intending to dub it themselves. Why? Who knows...but 4Kids recently added a "No-Compete" clause into their contracts, which says that they can't use the current 4-Kids cast, as it'd compete with their other shows. (which is kinda wierd, as most of the new cast is made up of 4Kids regulars. And I hope your right about Meowth sounding the same, T.Man. AnimeNewsNetwork lists Jimmy Zoppa as Meowth's new voice...which doesn't really excite me, since he also did the awful awful Vector Goldwaith voice in Shadow The Hedgehog. )

Yeah but without Veronica Taylor Ash doesn't sound the same.  NOA should be ashamed of themselves.  Who's voicing Ash now?

Erica Schroeder, according to ANN. She also does the voice of Max and Officer Jenny. (here's the cast list for the rest; http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encycloped...ime.php?id=6258 )

She's also listed as Luffy in One Piece. Does that mean One Piece went through a cast change, as last I thought, it was the same person that did Chris's voice on Sonic X?

So Eric Stuart can't voice Brock anymore because he's a 4 Kids cast member and it would compete with Yu-Gi-Oh! and other 4 Kids shows that he has involvement in?  That sucks.

I watched about 5 minutes of this and couldn't stand the new voices any more...
