I believe it is clear red plastic, purple-bot. However, you can try transplanting the windshield from another alternator (sideswipe) onto it.

do that n the headlites from swipe...then post it here when you're done cuz i wanna see it too haha... just color in the rear windsheild black n it should look cool...

Or, would it be possible to just cut out clear plastic pieces from some old packaging instead??? I'm curious about how it'd turn out....

clear plastic from packaging is too flimsy. Believe me, I tried.
