I've actually used carbon fiber for the skirts on my Sunstreaker custom. I think it does give it a little bit more uniqueness. BTW, those launchers looking good there . I'm actually working on custom alt launchers right now based on G1 wheeljack launchers for my wheeljack custom. I"m going to repro them as well.

Mattimus and VP- how do you get the Carbon Fiber print on the hood exactly? Is it a decal, or a painting technique? I painted the hood of my Runamuck Custom black to designate carbon fiber, but there is no detail to it. lmk

umm i dunno about VP but i bought the sheet of carbon fiber decal from an automotive store for about 15$... and its simple to put on..u cut it out around the object u want to carbon fiber and give urself a lil extrea material cause ur gonna have to heat and strecth it so it fits perfectly...im not a good painter yet but applying decals im with the best of them

Actually, they have 1/24 scale carbon fiber waterslide decal sheets which is what I used. I was wondering why your fiber looks so big Mat, now I know. Anyways, you can buy these at hobby stores. Just cut to the size of the area (slightly bigger) and place in water and then slide the decal off the paper and apply. It will adhere to the surface very easily. See pic below.

well i had no clue but then again i wouldnt b/c there are no hobby shops around here the only thing that resembles one is s scrapbok store..no modelsor anything and wal-mart doesnt have them so im S.O.L

the carbon fiber looks nice, man that's a lot of launchers, what i'd like to see is some one repro grimlocks sword so the rest of my alts can have one, but i think his sword is a little small, so what would be even cooler is if someone took rid scourge's sword's top half and grims bottom half, that would rock, but the carbon fiber does look great.

hmm...I'll consider that. I don't have RID Scourge's sword though. I have custom Alt launchers done. Need to modify the peg to fit on Alt Grimlock and upcoming Alt wheeljack though. Currently it fits Smokescreen and all other Alts with the Smokescreen's hole size.

i've got one, it would look alot better size wise then his current sword which in mho is lacking in size, i'm fixing to put gold racing stripes on ol grimy make him less bland
