I tried but it looks weird cause they're not the same height and not really wide enough. I tried to keep Magnus as accurate as possible, but to get Ultra Magnus to be right I had to stray a little. But I don't think the red is too much of a change. The hardest part was painting the symbol on the right shoulder. I don’t know if I’m going to paint the trailer and I'm trying to come up with ideas for his shoulder cannons. I'm thinking about buying 2 original and mounting them under the extended parts by the wheels and I guess you call them rails of the helicopter. Anybody have any ideas for the cannons?

Too bad the pics aren't clearer. It looks like you put alot of heart into it.

Almost makes me want to make my own.

Yeah the pictures do suck. I'm just learning to use my camera. I either get to much light or can't seem to get enough so I have to use the touch up function and it makes all the pictures look like that. Is a 3 mp camera a crappy one?

I used a KO Superion head. If you leave the smaller head down, it’ll fit snug on top. The notch for the “helmet� and back of his head fit perfectly.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do with my Rodimus repaint? I'm not digging the chest. He looks to white and plain. I’m thinking about moving down the chrome stripes and making pseudo windows.

Well if anyone wants to send me a GF Convoy I'll be more than happy to make one. I'm thinking about making a UM out of a RID OP. I'll have to sculpt a mouth but the rest would work out great. If I can find the Deluxe 2 pack, I'm gonna make a Scourge as well. I'm glad to see everyone is pleased, this is only the third repaint I've done. But I've a few more on the way, so keep an eye out.

Any chance of pics showing ur Rodimus repaint doing a power link ?

What I really like is the way the larger Magnus head makes Super OP's proportions look so much better. It's especially apparent when the two are standing next to each other; suddenly he doesn't look like he's been to the head shrinker. Good stuff.

Great repaint, and that supah mode is great, i really liked the logo on the shoulder.

OMG! I remember someone doing an "American" Prime, but seeing what you did, AND of course, Ultra Magnus, I hope the there will be a clearance, and to find a Superion head. Someone needs to repro that head for all of us!

I can’t say thanks enough to everyone and I can't believe that this topic has been viewed almost 5000 times either. That's just crazy. Since it has been requested, I just wanted to let you know that I'm gonna post some pics of Magnus combined with Wing Saber and a couple of Lil' Magnus powerlinked. I'll get them on here on Saturday. I've been to busy with teaching this week. Damn lesson plans! Anyway, if I can find another WS I'm thinking about bashing him so when they merge his arms and legs will both be blue.
And I already have a Checkpoint, so I think I leave him as Magnus.

a 2 megapixel camera would work fine, you just have to know how to use it. that's all I have and my pics tturn out fine.
