does anybody know of any sites or pictures of a show accurate transmetal 2 megatron? im thinking about painting him

you know for the chest it might be easier to get some good pictures of magmatrons robot mode and use that as a model to work with for tm2 megatrons robot chest.
as for the wings tm terrasor makes for a good set of wing joints if you use his lower body and slice it in half top to bottom and just bash those on in place of the folding pin section that attached the wings to the back in the first place
you'll want to mold a set of claws on to the dragons upper chest assembly the portion of it that splits down the center and opens up on the sides
it would be easy to cut a little bit of plastic out of the top center of the upper chest assembly fill the inside with sculpey and just drill a hole into it. by epoxy gluing and molding the upper chest assembly onto the armored dragon stomack it could easily serve as an arm mounted shield in robot mode and by flipping it around it could also serve as a fusion cannon to make it look like he inherited it from his ancestor during the spark fusion
the claws on the sides of the dragon feet would have to be lengthend slightly and curved at the tips
the tail would have to be lengthened as well.
that about all i got idea wise.

heres a plan that outlines how to build him up from the figure itself
guys heres my idea for a transmetal 2 megatron figure thats 85% show accurate and is built being a little more badass like body wise
what you need
2 transmetal 2 megatron figures one for the main body the other for extra parts
one small knock of tm2 megatron
one beast machines year one optimus primal black and blue gorilla figure
one beast machines target magmatron
from optimus primal you will need the entire gorilla arm assembly and shoulder joint
from magmatron you will need the allosaurus chest assembly
from ramulos you will need the 2 ram horns
from the small knock off tm2 megatron you will need the peices built onto the central section of the knock off's legs that can fold out to the side from the wheels on the legs of the real figure
from the tm2 megatron parts figure you will need to salvage the following parts
horns from behind the dragon ears.
the rubber neck and neck armor
the rubber tail
the wings minus the wing armor shield
as well as the rubber thing on either side of the robot head
phase one posable tail and neck
you will need to completely dissasemble the main dragon figure completely.
next you will need to slice the rubber necks and tails from both dragons down to their individual joints and remove any kibble so that they can fit nice and flush into each other.
next take the smallest drill bit you can find and drill a tiny hole in the center of each neck and tail joint
set the joints up for the neck and tail in pairs rangin from smalles to largest.
you will need 4 strands of steel wire with at least a half inch of extra length hanging out each side of the neck
then thread 2 strands of medium strength steel wire through the centered hole in the neck and tail joints
remove the 2 rubber strands in the dragon neck and run a length of stell wire throught the inner channels
of the neck. next use some sculpey where possible to secure the wire ends into place inside the dragon head,
as for the upper dragon chest gut the gears inside of it and turn that handle around on the dragons back so its pointing in the right direction
then use some sculpey to secure the wires into place.
make sure you fill up the entire hallow inside space of the upper chest assembly.
as for the tail once you thread 2 pieces of steel wire throught the tail joints from largest to smallest use some sculpey to fill in the hallow underside of the tail assembly
phase 2 a better set of legs
dissasemble the central area of the dragons legs for both figures. you know that piece that folds out by the wheel. thats the peice you have to slice off the legs of the smaller knock off figure.
now to fix the legs upp better you need to take the inner half of one leg which has a wheel mounted on it and take the same piece from the other leg with the wheel on it hack the wheeel and mounting piece clean off of one part and epoxy glue it onto the other part. now you have a central portion of the lower leg with out a gap on the outside.
now take the piece you sliced off the outside of the knock off figures central pieces of its legs and mold and epoxy glue it into place on the outside of the central piece of the real leg
do all this for both legs through the central area
and then the legs are finished being modified.
lower dragon chest.
fill in the hallow underside with sculpey and then mold a pair of claws onto each top corner of the dragons lower chest and do a little remolding on the sides of its upper chest to simulate that spike that slides onto either side of the upper chest when he goes form robot to beast mode. you know how he has those 2 spikes growing out of his rhight arm in robot mode they dulled that down on the figure for safety reasons. this slight remold job will at least look the part.
a better set of wings
slice the 2 pieces off the wing sheild that the steel pinused to secure it to the back to begin with try to make it a clean cut for both wing shields
take the purple underside piece from the wing assembly and slice that long part of it clean off so its just that round piece with the 2 screw holes intact.now alter the inside of the wing shield so that you can adjust the main wing clear out to the side. to do this you will need to slice into the main wing just a ltttle bit
now take the 2 extra wings from the parts figure minus its main wings and overlap them with the wings from the main figure.
now your gonna need 2 long screws to secure the purple piece back into place and just screw that peice back into place as much as possible. then use some sculpey to fill in the gap
make sure the wings can still flair out to the side.
when your done the wings can flair out to a 90degree angle then remove the 2 screw apply some epoxy glue to the 2 parts and carefully reassemble the 2 halves then tighten the 2 screws back up again
if done right the entire piece will be solid and the wings will still work right
wing musculature
to give him that tecno musculature that attaches the wings to his back like on the show take the gorilla arms from primal with the sholuder joint intact. now slice off the fingers and thumb. completely diassemble the amrs from the shoulder joints and remove the steel pin holes for each side of the back then fill in the gaps with epoxy glue. then apply some moe to attach the rotating shoulder joint to each side of the back just slightly underneath and behind the dragon arms.
now use some sculpey to modl the outer side of the palms onto the wing shielding then epoxy glue the 2 parts together.
then reassemble the arms completely after giving the stuff a day to set. you know have a set of posable wings.
thisis optional for the dragon head.
if you want ot give him a meaner looking beast mode slice the horns off from behind the ears of the main figures dragon head use some sculpey and mold the ram horns onto the dragons head armor in place of the spike that juts out behind the ears. then salvage those 2 spikes form the dragon head of the parts figure and the ones you sliced off from the main dragons head earlier and mold them on just behind the ram horns. me ide have the horns so they grow out fro the back of the dragons ears and curve up and forward you know like a pirates hook

now take those 2 rubber things you salvage from the parts figures robot head and mold them on to the dragon head on that central head area just above the eye balls. if anything it gives him better armor and a meaner more powerful look.
better robot chest.
now hack megatrons cannon barrol chest clean off and using a folding hinge joint like what tfmaster used on his armada starscream kitbash job you need to salvage magmatrons chest from the allosaurus remove the steel pins securing the tiny arms onti it and fill in the hallow underside with epoxy glue. then glue the hing onto it and cover the other side of the hing with a thin layer of epoxy glue make absolutely sure you don't get any into the folding pin center.afters its set anf completly secure the next day epoxy glue and mold it on in front of megatrons robot head the idea here is that it give him a more accurate chest in robot mode and in beast mode you just rotate the entire tail assembly around on the steel wire thats inbedded into it and just rotate the head down so its like hs looking up his own butt. with th chest piece floding into place to for mthe dragons reqar end. use some sculpey to fill in that depression on the chest where the terrannadon beak used to go and mold a sparckchamber into place their.
finishing up with the little details
mold a tiny set of claws on each side of the groin and a pair of horns onto each side of the robot head's face like he has on each side of his face on the show. now slice the stomack shield off his right arm and fill in the hole with sculpey then using an appriate sidzed screw mold it onto the underside of the dragon stomack so he can use it as a hand held weapon do a little remolding to the top side of the dragon stomack to make it more show accurate and then just hack his right hand off and position it so he can hold his weapon right in robot mode
colorscheme wise id go with a real dark red for the main color
dark bluish purple for that color
and a slight metallic reddish gold mix thats just a little heavy on the gold color
paint him up right and this guy would totally rock
me id still go with the arm cannon idea though and tmterrasor in place of the primal arms for the wing musculatur since the wings can fold up better that way for the robot mode

Actually, TFmaster and Bashmaster were both names I used.
Bashmaster was only used for s short period of time when I couldn't use my accounts on some sites when they do their updates and I forgot my password.
And to be hounest, I wouldn't really say I totally deserve that comment there but it is nice that you think so.
Even though Bodycount and I don't get along I am comfortable with saying that the guy does have a tendancy to give me a run for my money...I just personally can't stand him...not anything at all to do with his work.
But personally, I feel the person to blow my title away of TFmaster was Jaorrod over at the allspark with his Scratchbuilt WW Optimus Prime not to mention the numerouse Japanese Kitbashers out there that noone know's the names of because they don't speak english.
Again, I'm very flattered that you think so highly of me but I am far from the best.
