Is it just me, or are Meister's legs designed to be like the original Jazz's? Everyone transforms him so that the rear bumper forms the front of his feet, with the doors as the back of his legs. It even says so in the instructions. Try this: transform it the other way around, with the doors forming the front of his legs. This has three advantages.
1) You don't need to twist the legs all around to get them into position, just pull them straight down.
2) the black support bracer on the bottom of his feet (when swung all the way back against the rear bumper) actually works better.
3) he actually looks more like the original Jazz. These three reasons make me believe that this is how he was originally intended to be transformed. Let me know what you think.
And, as always, if this is a subject that's already been covered here, than never mind.

Same here. The fact that the bumber can can pivot leads me to believe that it is "correct" transformation, but the black stabilizer would make one think that they were leaving the option open to you to go either way. He definitely looks more like Jazz with the feet "reversed" though.

i'd do it that way, but i enjoy his "toes" lol...

I you dont twist his legs around his knees are backward. I'm sorry, I can get with the trunk chest mod for Sideswipe but the Meister backward feet and leg thing just doesn't look right to me. He had no toes and by no means does it look like the correct transformation.

You can face the legs forward so the knee is correct and still have the feet backward.

I'll try this "backwards" legs way when I get home from work. Besides being more true to G1 Jazz, I like anything more than can help make his bot mode look more different than Smokescreen, another reason I like Sideswipe's trunk chest against Dead End's standard transformation.

You can also face the wheels on Jazz's shoulders forward. The black is a nice contrast to his all white body, and helps him look a little more different form Smokescreen/Streak. Posability is barely hindered by it too.

I have the exact same opinion, Cyrax2112 - for all of the reasons you mentioned. I display my white Meister like this as well, with the red one I use the "official" transformation so they look different.
tman - I don't mind him not having toes since G1 Jazz never did.

Who cares what he looked like in G1? G1 is dead.
No reason to ruin your toy's look to try to make it look like something it's not, so leave it alone and transform it the way its supposed to go. It looks freaking stupid with the feet turned backwards.

nice, splendic.
and there's nothing wrong with turning the feet around, cyrax 2112. G1 isn't dead, bodycount is just crabby.
