Ryugunoh looks awesome! and I was right about UNI spinoff being Takara's answer to Pinky St.
What's all these zip files in that first link?
In the Takara link, I was looking at the pics of Asuka...is her hair articulated?

yes, her hair is articulated
the zip files contain pictures from several toyshows in Japan, the one with Asuka is from the Winter Wonder Festival, for the new one you have to click WCC22.zip (if it doesnt show on the first page, then go to the next page, not so difficult to find)

Just saw the new Superman figures. Not feeling the skinny one. The eyes on both him and Supergirl look too weird to me.
The bulkier chest Superman looks cool...and I'm really digging the Cyborg Superman. Wonder if Takara'd give him any backstory?

OK, I know the last couple of months there hasn't really been anything on Microman. But, I found
this on HLJ, and I am more than curious. Does anyone have any information on this?

4 girls names 4 of the 5 are girls so it fits
ps are they based on whats going to replace madan zenki ryukendo? since the face masks are a similar concept and tomytakara made micromen for that show aswell
Taaron
May 2 2007, 07:40 PM
They could be. I still haven't finished off Ryukendo yet...but the costumes are pretty similar looking...if a bit more oldschool looking.

I hope the hiatus on Microman is over, like with Transformers, so that after this series we can get more Material Force (I need flesh colored V2 female bodies for customs) and off course more Micro- and Acro series

http://www.microforever.com/preview2000.htmQUOTE
Not a really exciting news but at least Takara-Tomy is determine to keep Microman line going for at least until the end of this year. I am not sure I am entirely please with the direction that Tomy is taking Microman line. Yukiko told me that there were several rumors about the tension between the two toy designing cultures (Tomy and Takara) and that lead to many of the problem with the projects. Tomy was hoping Takara would open up Transformers brand to Tomy division and Takara was hoping for Star Wars licensed so they can do Microman Version of Star Wars characters but they were un-able to resolve the turf wars and the end result is pretty much a very boring year for Microman line.
Tomyformers and Chewy Microman in the future?

Kinda disappointing news. I'm not really into the Kinnikuman series but the blue guy from Wrecker Signa Project is kinda interesting. Not to interested in the girls in that series though. I was really hoping they would release new Microforce figures. Oh well at least I can catch up on the ones that I am missing in my collection.

Jul 1 2007, 10:49 AM
wow they are sure using alot of over again. They have Microman Xeku's Machinemirror in that red dvd exclusive, the black guy with the cape looks like a black materialforce figure with Acro Hidou's armor and accessories with a new cape and head sculpt. Maybe it hasn't been painted yet. All in all, I was hoping Takaratomy would be producing new Microforce figs for 2007.

The Wecker girls come with a second head (not their real life head though)

http://www.microforever.com/images/Microma...uanto0707-3.jpgThey uploaded a picture of the upcoming solicitations
first 2 are from Lupin, next 2 Wecker (seen those before)
row underneath: 2 girls from Wecker (repaints?) and the other are all from the 80ties series Wingman
so the rest of the year seems to be packed with releases, albeit there are no regular Microman or Acroyear series

anyway, new updates here:
http://www.microforever.com/preview2000.htm and here: www.takarahobby.com
bad news: one of the Wecker girls is a mail-away... but good to see TakaraTomy paid attention to each girl's approximative height
thanks to the chromed Lupin figures, the Micromanspirit is kept alive (also with the 2nd head of the Wecker costumed figures), somehow, I wonder if we'll get to see some real Microman and Acroyear figures someday

Sep 19 2007, 08:24 AM
no your not but since they merged theirs been little past tie-in figures so its not like theirs anything new
its cool how theirs also doing human figures for the sigma show girls (all jail bait it seems) ive still haven't seen any of it
Cyclone_X
Sep 21 2007, 09:55 AM
I don't think they are jail bait, they al look around their 18-20, but may be playing 15-16 year olds (like Claire in Heroes)
still, everything about 16 isnt jail bait anymore

(at least not in my country)
plus the series doesnt seem to be sexually tinted, just a female sentai/tokusatsu thingy
anyway, back on topic: I got the Wonderfest Exclusive Rei last week

, nice figure, with a bed as a box, but no accesoiries at all (no extra hands, no stand, no nothing)
