Yay after about 5 months of making the poll asking whether or not I should make a new collection thread, I finally did! I can't even tell you how many toys I have right now because my collection is in disarray. I have bought stuff I haven't written down, and have sold a bunch of loose figures on ebay as well. The collection page on my site is outdated as well.

This is the the first group of pictures, and starting out will be boxed items. This isn't all of them, but about 98% of them. Sorry for my bad camera! The lighting wasn't that great.

Make a reply so I can post more!

GI Joe headquarters! Got any pics of it out of the box?

Its just a bunch of parts! I bought it for $2.37 and I can't complain. But really it didn't come with the instructions. It came with the Killer WHALE instructions instead... redface2tf.gif

Ratbat pics I posted in the Seen it on Ebay forum. This Ratbat I bought for $42 back in 1999.

You bastards deleted my awesome thread! Now I have to start all over! Well not really....

Bought a couple of the repro inserts from Ebay Seller ptrckcrw2. I picked up a Bombshell and a Blitzwing. Because I used the BIN wrong (paid double for shipping) he sent me a Mirage one as well. It comes with the appriopriate cardboard peices to mount on, and a tech spec decoder. The decoder functions properly, but the plastic quality is lower than the original, so its soft. All in all its a great buy.

1. Picture of Mirage insert and the cardboard peices. Also the decoders and an example tech spec to show how it looks.

2. A top-down angle of the Mirage insert, as well as a view of how the Bomshell insert looks in the box.

I didn't take a pic of the Blitzwing insert because I don't have the cannon part for him, so it doesn't rest properly in the box unless I were to glue the plastic on the cardboard. And if I did that, then I wouldn't be able to put the cannon in there!

3. This is a reference pic of my red foot Optimus Prime. The condition isn't as good as I remembered.. No he isn't orange, its just the pic. The trailer is intact, ie the door has its hinge still. It is an all plastic trailer. Roller and accessories are not shown as they are kept in a separate container so I don't end up losing them. Prime's stacks are pretty loose, and I am not sure if I can tighten them. I have no experience using the nail polish trick and the screws on his arms are already tight.

4. Here is a shot of him in robot mode and the underside of the trailer. I bought this Prime from someone here but I can't remember who. The trailer came with the purchase, but there is a 1992 stamp on the bottom of it.

5. This is a close up of the robot dude inside the trailer. He is missing the grapple arm on the top that is on the other side of the cockpit as the radar dish. I could take it apart and replace it with the arm from a G2 Prime but I don't think I will...

6. New additions to my sports card collection. In this picture there are a stack for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, as well as current Rays roster members (the tallest one). The rest of them are Phoenix Coyotes alumni. The Daniel Paille jersey card in the plastic is set aside because I have a deal worked out with a local card store, so that card goes to them. In the back you can see the Korean Brave Max box... and yes, he's actually in it.

Currently, my hockey card collection of Phoenix Coyotes alumni has numbers that look like this:

62 Autographs
106 Game used cards
74 serial numbered cards
725 Keith Tkachuk cards (most of one player)
27 Keith Tkachuk game-used cards (most of one player)
9 autographed Alexei Zhamnov cards (most of one player)
8 serial numbered Alexei Zhamnov cards (most of one player)
11,654 Total cards
ultra convoy
where the rest?
i know you have more!
Tripredacus
You are right...

I won't re-post old pics, so here is my pb link.

In a couple weeks my Dad is moving out and I get to have the whole house to myself. This means the unassembled shelving units I've been saving up will be put together and have toys put on them! I'll definately be taking pics of the setup when the time comes!
JustLOKIPLVY
Original Prime, nice.

Why'd the original thread get deleted?

That was hella awesome.

Made of g1-OptimusPrimeAniLevelup.gif

Best of luck with the new one.
Tripredacus
I think it got pruned awhile back because I didn't update it in so long.

Also a thing that comes to mind is I'll be able to bring up all my GI Joe bases and big-ass things like Gobots Command Centers and set them all up. As I am thinking about it, I might dedicate an entire room to them... Now all I will need to to buy some more shelves!
Tripredacus
Wow thread almost got baleted.

I started doing minimal arrangement to my "new" house. Other than setting up my TV and computer, I haven't done much with toys. I put some in the kitchen and some in the living room. On top of the TV I put the Cobra Night Raven and Destro and Iron Grenadier. On the fireplace mantle I put a Cobra HISS tank on each end and Cujo in the middle. And I put Night Slash Cheetor in a window because he looks all glowy when the sun is out. Here is ONE pic of what the fireplace looks like... and the empty corner of the "dining" room....

Also, I now have a room with 9 speakers and 2 subwoofers in it. One of the subs is a 1200 guh copy.gif
Tripredacus
Here is what I have on a shelf above the microwave in the kitchen:

pictured are:
- limited edition Sabres beer unopened
- Classics Optimus Prime
- Revoltech guy I forget his name
- Classics Skywarp
- exclusive Mandarin Spawn

Alright... this was way weird... ANYWAYS I don't have a collection update, but some pics of the room I intend to use for displaying the collection.

The walls are bare, the paint is cracking and in need of repair. I said I didn't want it to be painted because I have an idea...

Here's a little history. In the two places I've lived in the past (I've lived in more places) that allowed me to have control over decorating, I've built collages in my bedroom. This time its different because I have the ability to decorate an entire house, so I picked the smallest room to display my collection in. It won't just be TFs tho. I also plan on putting my ebay stock in there as well. Since this was the only room that wasn't redone or remodeled in the entire house, it was a good fit for me to do what I wanted with it.

My first addition was adding the door hanger from the Intel X38BT motherboard.... which is the board I want to buy but I got this from work cuz I didn't buy it yet.

After about 4 hours over two days, I have this as a start, although I am not liking how some of the arrangements are. I may change some arrangements (I've already taken some stuff down and replaced) in the future. My original idea was to do a spectrum look but i got lazy so it isn't looking like that will work out. FYI: since I did this kind of thing in the past, I have YEARS of pictures saved up... just waiting for my next victim!

Tell me what you think!

ahh Tripred I know how you love that ko rumble lol biggrintf.gif

OMG I have no idea where that is. I gotta find it!
Tripredacus
Not a Transformer, but a computer case.

This is the exterior. I will keep the plastic on until I get more parts.

It comes with 3 fans which is pretty cool.

And it has drive bays aplenty.
Tripredacus
Nothing much new for me, TF wise that is. I finished doing the walls in my collection room tho. These walls reflect everything about me.

And I also found a new place to post additions to my sports card collection

Is it scary that I noticed the picture of Sabretooth out of all that first?

No he kinda stand out. When I first walk in, I see Don Cherry, then Sabretooth next.
