This story is going to focus more on the Decepticons in this one. And we'll see quite a few G1 characters return on both sides this time. And here's a rundown on the names. The two crane Energon combiners are Hook and Mixmaster, Mixmaster because he can use his long arm to mix stuff, and the two bulldozers are Bonecrusher and Scavenger. And the leader is again Scrapper. For the Combaticons. The two helicopters are Blast Off and Vortex, the two tanks are Brawl and Swindle, and the missile trailer is Onslaught. For the Aerialbots, the two that have the boards are Slingshot and Skydive. The one's that have the lasers that are on the arms are Fireflight and Air Rad, and the leader is Silverbolt. Those are some minor name changes as far as some of the characters are concerned.
Chapter 1
"I'm bored" said Galvatron. He'd had a rather uneventful morning. It's been wierd being on Earth again. He remembered being here during the search for the Mini-Cons, fighting Prime, Scavenger, Hot Shot, Red alert, Blurr, Sideswipe, and Hoist. But with this new batch of Autobots, it just seemed different. And not only that, they had brought back a few of Cybertron's older generations of Autobots. Skyfire, Hound, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Grimlock, and Swoop.
All of a sudden, he saw something out of the corner of his eye, just standing there and he decided to turn and look. It was Starscream. "What Starscream" Galvatron said in a bored tone of voice.
Starscream understood his leader's boredom, and had an idea as to how to fix that. "Sir. I was thinking of bringing back a few Decepticons from that generation. We already have Devastator and Bruticus, but how about we bring back Menasor. Or maybe your father's most loyal soldier, Soundwave. Their sparks are bound to be in Kaon's Decepticon Hall of Fame."
Galvatron sat up right. "I think you might have something there Starscream. Fight fire with fire. Have a crew of Decepticons standing buy, along with Devastator, cause you'll need Hook, since he's an engineer and medic in one, stand by for when the Autobots next open a spot in the Energon grid. Leave Bruticus here. Hopefully, with any luck, we'll have an advantage soon."

Optimus was thinking about Superion. He knew that there were two Autobot gestalts guarding the Super Energon pool, but one of them clearly didn't make it. Optimus thought that if Superion could reveal who it was that was destroyed, he could in fact find a way of replacing the loss. He had access to the mausoleum in Iacon, but he wasn't sure who he needed. He reached over a pressed a button on the control panel. "Silverbolt, I want to see you and the Aerialbot command please." He heard a response over the link "Sure Optimus. Give us a few minutes to get there."
Optimus was pleased. With any luck, this'll work out for the best.

Starscream was with Hook deciding who to bring back. They had agreed that Soundwave was a definite candidate. But they were debating bringing Menasor back on line. They knew that before the gestalts were either imprisoned or sent to guard the pool of Super Energon, Menasor had been quite mentally unstable. He usually responded instinctively, without much thought as to how it might affect not only the Autobots, but his fellow Decepticons as well. They thought that if they could find a way to correct this little matter, then they might be able to bring him back online, but otherwise, they'd let the Stunticon team's sparks rust or burn out eventually. They had also decided to bring back Rumble, Frenzy, and make brothers for Starscream, like his father had. They would be named after his uncles, but he himself would provide the mold for them. He had decided that if his father and his uncles had the same mold, why not him and his new brothers. So he had agreed to do that.
"Starscream, Hook. How comes the progress?" Galvatron asked entering the lab.
"Pretty good. Give us about another few cycles and we'll be ready to leave for Kaon as soon as the Energon grid has an open spot." Hook said.
"Ahh, good. Now Starscream. Regarding your new, what did you call them, oh yes, brothers. If you are providing the mold, might I suggest that you make the mold here and take it with you to Cybertron, instead of making the process last longer."
Starscream thought a minute and thought that it was actually better than what he had planned. Of course, Galvatron always has the best ideas. "Sure Galvatron. Why don't we have our Constructicon Mixmaster get the molder ready. That way, we'll have everything set."
All that was left now was to get this done, let the ones that were going to Kaon lie in wait, and wait for an opening in the grid. Then it was all uphill from there. Galvatron just grinned.

Sounds really good can`t wait to read about the big battle that will surely insue.
Look for Chapter 2, and maybe if I have enough time, Chapters 3 and 4 tonight. Today's the last day of school, so I get to stay up late, as late as I want to. So hopefully, I can get a little further on the story tonight. So look for more tonight guys.
Chapter 2
"Galvatron, sir. I had a thought. What if we attacked the Autobot Snow City outpost. We'd probably stir up some attention, and for them to have reinforcements come, they'd have to open up the grid. We could have some Terrorcons go in, cause some havoc, along with Bruticus, and they'll call in reinforcements, and while they open the grid, those of us that are going to Kaon will have been lying in wait with the equipment and leave. With any luck this will work. What do you think?"
Galvatron thought about it for a moment, "Hmmm. I think you have something there Starscream. Here's who will go with you. The Constructicons, namely Hook, but should you run into trouble, they can form Devastator. Snow Cat, Demolishor, and Sixshot. With his new obedience chip, he shouldn't be a problem. Will you Sixshot?" Galvatron said turning his head towards a dark corner where a single red light lit up.
Out of the darkness stepped Sixshot, and in a new tone, one that seemed similar to Scorponok's tone after he became Megatron's slave, replied in his voice "No sir. I won't be a problem at all. I will follow whoever you wish for me to follow." He then just stood still, awaiting his next command.
Starscream had a grin spread across his face, knowing that everything would go just fine.

He remembered when Prime's father had sent him, along on assignment under the treaty of Iacon-Kaon, four of the six gestalt Transformers, two from each faction, would be shut down to guard the Super Energon pool. And when they awoke, they would be reformatted into new forms, both evoking their forms when they went down, but also current with the time period. He, along with Computron, Devastator, and Bruticus had volunteered to guard it. When he had awoken, Computron had been destroyed by Galvatron, and all that remained was Bruticus, Devastator, and himself, along with the other Aerialbots in the form of Superion.
"Yes Prime. That's right. Computron was destroyed. Why are you asking me this?"
"Well, I figured since there were three gestalts on both sides when my father was fighting, that if the Decepticons had two, and one was destroyed, why not bring back another one of ours. So know that we know who was destroyed, why don't we send a group of Autobots to Cybertron to bring back a team that knows how much life is worth. The Protectobots. I already had Wheeljack design how the new bodies would look, relatively similar, but up to date, like you. And we'll expose the protoforms to Super Energon, so that they'll be on par with you, Bruticus, and Devastator."

He, along with the Combaticons, Mirage, and Galvatron, would cause a comotion, so that the Autobots would need backup, and open up a space in the grid, thus allowing the select Decepticons to go to Kaon and revive some Decepticons. He was almost there. Just a few more minutes.

He was hoping it would work, but he had just realized that should it fail, he had no backup, and with that in mind, he was worried about what Galvatron might do to him.
"Ready Starscream. Demolishor, Snow Cat, Hook, Mixmaster, Scavenger, Bonecrusher, Sixshot and myself are all present and accounted for sir." was Scrapper's reply.
Starscream nodded. Now all that needed to happen, is for Galvatron to pull his weight through on the other end, initiating Operation Revival.

I never take my creativity for granted. When I have an idea or some form of motivation, I ususally run with it. That's why I'm currently enrolled in a radio and television production and broadcasting class at school. I can let my creativity take off and fly. So it's the same thing here. I have an idea, and I ususally run with it, like my topic about Monty Python in TF:TM. At current, I'm thinking of who's going to show up and unfortunately is the one that lets the Decepticons escape through a hole in the grid. Once I have an idea, I'll start chapter three with a bang. Don't worry. I'm off from school for the week, tomorrow, and the next two weekends, so I have all the time I'm not using to do my sociology project, which isn't very big, to probably finish the story. And as far as the series goes. After this current story, maybe I'll lay off the revivals for the while and let the currently revived characters develop into the Energon fold and continuity, and hopefully I won't have to kill off anyone. And look forward to the story. I've decided to bring some elderly TFs into the fold, if you get my drift, to be there for Bulkhead. Heehee. Look for Chapter 3, and maybe Chapter 4 later tonight. If I don't get to Chapter 4, look for it tomorrow morning or afternoon.

I've hit a little snag. My parents have grounded me from the computer for ALL of vacation 
So unless I ca find a way to get back on their good side, or something, I won't be able to get back to my story until they "re-access" the situation, which includes a trip to my psychiatrist, they think that I'm a little scared about going to college, and because of that that I'm acting out, I'm not completely sure of what's going on, but again, no story until probably after break. Sorry guys. My parents have had their final say. Just llok in the hope that they'll let me back on sooner than that.

Yah really man that`s rough your 18 and your parents still control what you do. I`d never make my kids go see a shrink `cause from what I`ve seen you only get more messed up in the head by seeing one since that`s how they make their money. You start out w/ one problem and by the time they get done w/ you your in a nut house.
Okay, quick snippet. First of all, they gave me a slightly clearer description of what's going on. Apparently, some of my classmates have "registered" complaints against me. They say that I'm kind of spooking them out. So my counselor, my parents, some of my teachers have requested that I make an appointment with my psychiatrist to check if I'm all right with the concept of going away to college by myself. So now that I understand, I'm a little cooler with it. BTW, I went to TRU today, and bought both Slugslinger and Signal Flare. I thought about buying Hound, but I didn't have enough on my gift card, and my mom bought Signal Flare, she owed me a figure for some work I did for her

Yeah really. Well, I talked with my dad today. He's a psychiatrist, but he can't see me as a patient, conflict of interests, and he told me that most of the adolescents that he sees, often have slight issues like this regarding college, so he told me that it was very normal what I'm going through. I'm just anxious about going away and leaving home after living with him and mom for a little over 19 years now. So I understand why their doing this, so just bear with me guys while I bear with them. And regarding Hound, I really hope to get it soon. Carlos was having difficulty reaching Broadcast in Ocean City. The Decepticons were pounding Snow City, and unless he could get through to him, and soon, they would all be destroyed. "Broadcast, this is my last attempt before the power shuts down, but if you can hear me, get the Autobots to Snow City, the Decepticons are atta......"

"Carlos, CARLOS!" Broadcast had lost all communication with Snow City. He changed the frequency to their Autobot scout, and an all around cool Autobot in general, Hound. "Hound, head over to Snow City, I'll have Optimus, Wing Saber, Rodimus, the Aerialbots, and Roadblock meet you there. Maybe I'll have Grimlock and Swoop head over too. Do you copy?"
"I copy Broadcast, loud and clear. Heading over right now."
Broadcast again changed the frequency to an all general one, where he can reach whoever. "Optimus, Silverbolt, Rodimus, Wing Saber, Roadblock, Grimlock, Swoop, Air Raid, Slingshot, Fireflight, Skydive. Hound is heading over to Snow City to aid them. The Decepticons are attacking. They need reinforcements now. I'll activate the Global Space Bridge from central command, and have it send you guys there. With any luck, we'll get there soon."
"We copy Broadcast. Thanks for the info. And tell Wheeljack that he can go ahead with Operation Defense."
"Gotcha Optimus. Broadcast out."

He checked his life signs. They were gone. Carlos was dead. Hound had become such good friends with him, and now he had lost a good friend.
Hound felt the anger rising in his circuitry. He would go after the Terrorcons for this. He went out, with his gun and shoulder missile ready. He then started whooping Terrorcon butt. Big time.
Then he saw a bright light in the sky. Then he heard Galvatron say something into his comm unit. "Starscream, they grid has an open spot. Go now. I repeat, go now."
Hound then realized that the attack had been to lull them here. He activated his comm unit and started "Optimus, stop. Don't open the grid, there are Decepticons lying in wait to escape. I repeat don't open the gri-UNHHH."
Hound had been blasted in the back.

Rodimus saw what was going on just as they were exiting the bridge. "Optimus, incoming Decepticons, but something's wrong. They're not in attack position. I don't get it."
"I don't either Rodimus, but we need to help Snow City. I have an idea. Silverbolt, you and the Aerialbots stay here and defend this spot in the grid until it closes. The rest of you, come with me. And it's time to-
"Optimus Prime!"
"Wing Saber"
"POWERLINK"
"Powerlink complete"
"Rodimus!"
"Roadblock!"

"NOOOO!" Superion yelled. He then activated his comm unit. "Optimus, the Decepticons escaped. I'm sorry."
Optimus responded "Superion, don't worry about it. Let's head back to Ocean City. I'm thinking that this was strategized just for that purpose. We have some business to attend to back at base, both good and bad. And among them, is giving recognition to Carlos, who gave his life for the Autobot cause. We'll meet you there. Optimus out"

Hopefully you guys don't mind me killing off Carlos, I just can't stand the kid. He's so whiney. Maybe I'll kill of Sally next. J/K. And Taz-bot, are you glad that Hound got some action in, even though it was only a little. I'm a little pressed for time, so this chapter isn't very big. Hopefully soon, I'll have chapter four up and running. And update on Bulkhead and Downshift, they'll be here on the third. And my music teacher gave me an awsome gift. She's going to spend twenty dollars on me for a toy of my choice. I'm thinking of going with an Alternator, maybe Hound. He's one of my favorite G1 characters. He's so cool.

Optimus responded "Superion, don't worry about it. Let's head back to Ocean City. I'm thinking that this was strategized just for that purpose. We have some business to attend to back at base, both good and bad. And among them, is giving recognition to Carlos, who gave his life for the Autobot cause. We'll meet you there. Optimus out"

Hopefully you guys don't mind me killing off Carlos, I just can't stand the kid. He's so whiney. Maybe I'll kill of Sally next. J/K. And Taz-bot, are you glad that Hound got some action in, even though it was only a little. I'm a little pressed for time, so this chapter isn't very big. Hopefully soon, I'll have chapter four up and running. And update on Bulkhead and Downshift, they'll be here on the third. And my music teacher gave me an awsome gift. She's going to spend twenty dollars on me for a toy of my choice. I'm thinking of going with an Alternator, maybe Hound. He's one of my favorite G1 characters. He's so cool.

Back at Ocean City, Rad, Alexis, Mischa, Kicker, Sally, Dr. Jones and his wife, along with the Autobots, were at a ceremony recongnizing Carlos. Optimus had just finished his speech, and everyone was giving a moment of silence. Although Kicker understood why this was being done, he thought that Carlos probably wouldn't have wanted them wasting so much time doing this while the Decepticons were on Cybertron doing who knows what.
He'd had enough.
"ARGGGHHH! Optimus. We need to get to Cybertron NOW. The Decepticons had stasis pods, a mold, and some tools. They're obviously making some new Decepticons, and we need to be there to counter them. We need to get those new Autobots up and running now. Isn't Wheeljack done making the new bodies yet?!"
Everyone was silent for a moment, stunned that Kicker was acting like this a ceremony involving the gravity of the situation. Optimus understood where Kicker was going with this. And he agreed, enough was enough as far as this was concerned. He had know Carlos for some time now, and knew that he would agree with Kicker. "Kicker, you're right. As far as the new bodies go, Wheeljack just has to take them around town and scan the vehicles for the alternate modes. I'm sending Bulkhead, Jetfire, to Cybertron to get the five sparks that we need, along with a sample of Super Energon, so I'm sending two of the Aerialbots, Skydive and Slingshot, as well. So that when they get back, everything should be set up. Okay." He turned to Wheeljack. "Wheeljack, I want you to go with Prowl, Ratchet, Roadblock, Ironhide, and Cliffjumper and get those alternate modes scanned and ready for incorporation. Then, I want you to leave them be, and wait for the others to return with the sparks and Super Energon so that we'll have the new team up and running. Grimlock, Swoop, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, and Hound. I want you guys to go with Jetfire and his team for backup and protection. Okay. Hot Shot, Broadcast, Strongarm, Skyblast, Signal Flare. I want you guys to just keep a watch on the global scale, and make sure the Decepticons aren't up to any other tricks. Wing Saber and Omega, come with me. We need to just keep the base running in a calm and orderly fashion. Silverbolt, Air Raid, and Fireflight. I want you to stay up in the skies and just moniter the air space around Ocean City. We can't afford any slip ups. Dr. Jones, I want you to go with Wheeljack and help him finish up. Rad, Alexis, Mischa, Kicker, and Sally. Go with Jetfire's team to help them with the fragile stuff, namely the sparks. Mrs. Jones, I'm sorry, but there's no real job for you to do, unless you want to input some suggestions."
Everyone looked at her and waited for something. "Everyone, get busy and get rolling."

They all went their ways to get what they needed, and they agreed that whenever they got what they needed they would leave. Starscream looked around and relized, he was the last one there. Everyone had left with their goods. Now it was his turn.

Back on Earth, Wheeljack had explained to his team what vehicles they needed. A fire truck, a medical helicoptor, an ambulance, a police car, and a police motercycle. They would be the new and improved Protectobots, just to up the ante and give the Autobots, and Superion, some help with the combiner Decepticons.

"Hey, Slingshot. It's kind of creepy down here alone. Isn't it?" asked Skydive.
"Hmm. What. Oh. I guess. I was just thinking about stuff. Like how are we going to get past those Terrorcons."
Skydive looked at what his comrade was talking about and he saw. It was a whole group of Terrorcons, made up of Command Ravages, Doom-Locks, some Divebombs, and some Insecticons. He then grinned. "Easily. We'll impliment some tactics that I've read in some books about aerial warfare in Earth's World War II. Let's do it."
A few moments later, they were in and battling it out in their vehicle modes. It also helped that their alternate modes were the exact same, save color schemes. The Terrorcons didn't know who to hit, since they looked alike. Slingshot thought that this was a pretty lousy tactic, and it would have been easier to just fly through blasting their way in. But it was all the same to him. It just got them to their goal. They transformed back into robot mode, and behind them was a pile of Terrorcon scrap ready for the scrapyard.
They gave each other high fives and went down to get the Super Energon.

Meanwhile at Kaon, Starscream had just finished putting the finishing touches on the body of Thundercracker. He now had two brothers, just like his father. And it was only a matter of time before they were active. He just needed Hook to finish up with their sparks. "Hook, how's it coming?" he asked.
"Fine. Fine. I also finished integrating Soundwave and company so that they're Energon Chip compatible."
"Good. Are they up and runn-" Starscream started before being inturrupted. His inturruption consisted of a growl of a cat, and some squawks of birds. He knew those sounds all to well. They were Ravage, Laserbeak, and Buzzsaw. Then the ground shook. He figured that was Rumble and Frenzy testing out their new bodies. Then he heard the following. "Soundwave and Company ready for service." Then he heard something else. Something that sounded along the lines of "SKREEEE" He turned around, and there was a purple bat like Decepticon on Soundwave's arm. It was Ratbat. Then behind him, he heard some thunder and the sound of a warp. It was his new brothers. Thundercracker and Skywarp.
Starscream turned to Hook, who was packing up his toolcase. Starscream looked at everyone, new and old, and said to them, Decepticons, it's time to head back to Earth. We just need a way to let Galvatron know that we're ready to come back so that he can deactivate that blasted Energon grid.

"Righteo Skydive. I'll round up the kids and we'll be ready for departure any moment. See ya then boys." Bulkhead replied.
Slingshot had been pretty silent since they left the pool. Skydive wanted to know what was going on with his friend. "Hey, Slingshot. Slingshot. SLINGSHOT!" he finally yelled, at an attempt to grab his attention.
"Huh, huh. Oh, sorry Skydive. I've just been thinking about Defensor. How great it'll be to even the combiner playing field with him. Did you want something?" was Slingshot's response.
If Skydive had been in robot mode, he would've rolled his optics. "No" he said with exasperation. He now knew what was on his mind.

Soundwave was looking at his new body. It was fashioned more into that of a disc player than a tape cassette. He thought that it was interesting. He knew that it was just about time to leave. So he said "Rumble, Frenzy. Ravage, Ratbat. Buzsaw, Laserbeak. Storage time. Operation: Reformatting almost complete. I'm ready Starscream."
"Good" thought Starscream. He turned to his new brothers. "Thundercracker, Skywarp. Are you glad you're here?"
"Uh, yeah. Sure Starscream. I'm a little confused about some stuff, but when we get back to base, maybe you can clear some stuff up for me." said Skywarp.
Thundercracker was looking at his paint job, and his body, wondering why he looked like Skywarp and Starscream. He knew that they were brothers, but he didn't think that brothers necessarily looked alike. He remembered his dad's stories about those Autobot brothers Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. He said that they looked different, but similar. So if he had had something different, but his make up was generally similar to the other two, then he would've understood it a little better. "Hey Starscream. How come me and Skywarp both have bodies that look like you?" he asked.
Starscream then started to explain that his body provided the base for the mold, but before he could finish Soundwave inturrupted. "Starscream. Autobots are leaving Cybertron. Look. At 8 o'clock. There. They're heading towards Earth."
Stascream looked up at the sky, and sure enough, there were those blasted twins, their scout, those two Dinobots, Jetfire, Bulkhead, and two of the Aerialbots. He figured that if they're heading towards Earth, that they'd better find a way to follow them without being spotted. He turned to Soundwave. "Soundwave. With your new body, can you produce a field that will allow us to follow them without being detected both by their scanners, and visually?"
"Yes. Starscream. It can be done. Buzzsaw. Laserbeak. Eject. Operation: Interference. Shield us from their visual and scanners. Fly. We'll follow."
The two birds soared up into the sky, and incorporating new technology, created a field of energy that made them invisible to both scanners and optics alike. They had the perfect cover for following the Autobots back to Earth.
Now all that they had to do was follow them home, and they had nothing to worry about.

Yeah. I've watched the G1 season one enough to capture his speech pattern. He doesn't speak in whole formed paragraphs. He tends to use his speech in a fashion like. Name. Name. Eject. Operation: whatever. Or other brief sentences. I thought that if the Autobots had Broadcast, why not let the Decepticons have a communications officer, and the coolest one I could think of, since I wanted to bring back some Deceps, was Soundwave, and his five tapes and Ratbat. So now we have Soundwave, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Ratbat, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, and Skywarp and Thundercracker added to the team. And as far as the Protectobots go, they'll make their appearance by the end of the story.

technicly.... the shield would create a ball around them. the Older Autobots could tell they were being followed, by the way the light was being reflected. and that the stars in back behind the Decepticons should be seen, but aren't because of something in the way

The two birds soared up into the sky, and incorporating new technology, created a field of energy that made them invisible to both scanners and optics alike. They had the perfect cover for following the Autobots back to Earth.
technicly.... the shield would create a ball around them. the Older Autobots could tell they were being followed, by the way the light was being reflected. and that the stars in back behind the Decepticons should be seen, but aren't because of something in the way

No. It's supposed to be one of those fields that mimicks whatever it's blocking, except whoever it's shielding. In other words, the Decepticons are covered, but to the Autobots, it looks like just a sea of stars behind them. So they can't tell that they're being followed.

“Perfect just a few more cycles and we’ll be through that blasted energon shield!� exclaimed Starscream.

“A blue shift! They’re cloaked!�

“We’ve been tricked sir. Starscream and a bunch of other Decepticreaps snuck by us during reentry. By being cloaked�
“They’re beyond the grids ability to stop them now so we’ll just have to deal with them later.�
“Rodger that Optimus but I’m going to break off the return to base a give chase. We need to find out where their base is.�
“NO Jetfire return to base you can’t even see them anyway. Just the humans can, and if I’m right there’s no way you’d be able to follow them and stand up to the arsenal that they brought back with them inside Soundwave.�
“Soundwave!?! No way he was destroyed decades ago in the Great War.�
“Right but just as we’re reviving Autobots from that era the Decepticons are reviving their old team mates.�

“Well Optimus there were three Starscreams, Hook, and a big guy who kind of looked like a CD player, as well as two small bird looking things flying out ahead.�

“Yeah that’s him but that guy’s a tape player right?�
“Just an upgrade from a tape to a CD player. Either way he’s still a major threat.�
“Soundwave right Optimus?�
“Yes Kicker and those “birds� were Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw. Just two of his little minions that he carries with him. If only we had Blaster.�
“Who’s Blaster?�
“Blaster was the only Autobot who could match Soundwave back in the days of the great war. He now lives in Iacon not far from where Rodimus Sr. lives. He is now one of the counsel of elders but with the super energon gas there’s no telling if he’s managed to escape.�
“Well we could just send out a message and hope he gets it.�
“You’re right Wheeljack send it out immediately and then get a new body ready for him and his crew.�
“Yes sir Optimus message has been sent and now I’ll go start working on his body.�
“Now all we can do is hope he escaped Cybertron and gets the message.� Optimus stated hopingly

Wheeljack was busy in the lab with Ratchet working out the designs for a body for Blaster, Eject, Rewind, Steeljaw, and Ramhorn that were updated and could match Soundwave and his crew.
Suddenly the comm in the lab went off.
"Just in time. We finished the designs for Blaster, and we're working on his crew now. What's up Optimus?" Wheeljack asked.
"We're getting a message. Scramble code C-BLSTERG1. I think you should come down and see it, if it's who I think it is."
"Right Optimus. I'm on my way."

Wheeljack made his was to the main room and Broadcast, went ahead and played the message.
On screen was an Autobot who's head looked like Hot Shot's had when he first started in the Autobot army, but it was red and silver, and a second Autobot with a missile/laser on his shoulder and silver dials on his shoulder sides.
"Hey Optimus. What's shakin'. I got your message, and I'll be glad to help. And I figured bringing along my buddy Perceptor wouldn't hurt either. He wants to help."
"Salutations Optimus Prime." Perceptor said.
"Blaster, it's good to see you again. We're in need of your help. We have an updated body for you and your crew to help us with Soundwave who's been brought back along with his crew. And it's never a bad idea to have another Autobot on board. Do you need a new body Perceptor. We reccomend you get one that can handle Energon the way we can."
"Agreed Optimus. I was thinking of something along the lines of my current form, but with modern updates that you can find with modern microscopes. If the young human boy Kicker has one, I'll gladly scan it."
Wheeljack seemed content. "When can we expect you guys?"
"Oh, I'd say in about four standard Earth hours. By that time, I'll make it in time for the Top 40 countdown with Casey Kasem, my fave radio personality." Blaster said.
"Okay. We'll have everything set up for you by then. Optimus out."
Broadcast ended the message, and he looked a little grim. "Well, with Blaster coming, I guess I'm out of a job, huh Optimus?"
"Not at all Broadcast. I had thought of the situation, and it'd be easier if we have Blaster run the things like coding the messages and things like that since that was his biggest ability when it comes to running comm. You'll do just about everything else. But the biggest reason he's coming back is to match Soundwave since he's the only one that could."
Broadcast just lightened up. "Awsome."

“Perceptor we’re hit!�
“Really I thought we just hit some air. Of course we’re hit.�
“Eject, Rewind, Steeljaw and Ramhorn get out and shout!�
The four tapes pop out, transform, and leave the ship to go fight back when Blaster sees him.
“Soundwave! Perceptor take the controls and cover me I’m stepping out.�
“You do realize that Autobots don’t fly right?�
“Of course I’m going to use a hover board.�
“Just be careful.�
Outside Blaster and Soundwave come face to face.
“Do you think that just because you got an upgrade that you can beat my beat!?�
“Rumble, Frenzy destroy his board!�
“You’re going to what? I think not! Perceptor now!�
“Right Blaster. Laser barrage engage!�
“Soundwave have Ratbat take out those lasers now!�
“Ratbat go.�
The lasers blasted Ratbat and he fell to the earth. Just past Optimus who had power linked with Wingsaber.
“So Blaster could you use a hand? I hope you don’t mind Starscream but I brought a couple of friends of mine. Jetfire, Superion, Defensor, Bulkhead show them what you’ve got�
“Sure thing Optimus.�
“Optimus Jr. It’s nice to finally see you again in person.�
“Good to see you too Blaster. Alright gentle men let’s send Starscream and company back to Galvatron in pieces!�
“I think not Prime for this time I’ve been waiting in the wings just for you.�

“Not so fast Galvatron we have Perceptor. I had Bruticus and Devastator go after him and Defensor. They told me it took them all of about 20 milicycles to trash Defensor and snag that gold mine of knowledge Perceptor. So we got what we want. MWAHAHAHA!�
“Starscream I think I’ll give you a medal for this. Decepticons back to base!�
“Perceptor Noooooooooo!�

Wheeljack slammed a fist against a wall...BAM...leaving a nice indentation, quickly covered and repaired by a repair drone. He then continued to pace, being watched by Ironhide and Kicker.
"Hey Kicker, what's Wheeljack so mad about?"
Kicker rolled his eyes at his partners usual stupid questions. "Isn't it obvious Ironhide. He's worried about Perceptor. From what Jetfire told me, Perceptor taught Wheeljack half of what he knows. There's usually a special bond between student and master, and when the master's in trouble, the student's angry."
"Kicker, I understood most of that, but you lost at the whole master-student thing."
"Argh, blow it out your exhuast pipes."

"Thanks for the upgrade Ratchet. My beat is now beating faster and with the new sub woofer system, I can really shake it."
"Glad you like it Blaster."Â Optimus said coming into the room.
"Hey Optimus. What's shakin' 'bot?"
"I need to ask you, was there anything important that Perceptor knew as to why the Decepticons would want him?"
"Hmm. Well, he was going on about some thing involving Energon infusion at safe tolerable levels and how he hoped that it would give us an advantage. But I did my usual routine and just started jamming until we entered Earth's atmosphere."
"Hmm. We have Energon stars, what could he have been talking about?"

Meanwhile at Decepticon HQ, they were strapping down Perceptor for the hard drive wipe.
"You should be honored Perceptor. You're the first Autobot I've allowed in this base. And you'll be the last. Now, about that information."
Struggling in his contained position, Perceptor finally stopped and looked at Megatron with some calm anger reflected towards him. "You'll never get away with this Megatron. My hard drive is encoded at the moment, and the Autobots will find me."
"Don't make me laugh Perceptor. Right now, it's just you, me, and Six Shot." Turning to Sixshot, he nodded his head.
"Right. Now, make sure to scream Autobot."
"I'd say the same to you in about two seconds."
BOOM!
The smoke cleared, and standing there were Blaster, Optimus in his new Super Mode (which looked exactly like his old one, just the vehicles were more powerful versions), Wheeljack, Landmine, and Rodimus.
"All right Galvatron. Let's Perceptor go." Optimus said.
"What! How did you find us?"
Perceptor jumped off the table, because Landmine and Blaster were dealing with Six Shot and he had cut himself out.
"You can thank me Galvatron. Do you remember when I stopped stuggling. It's because I activated a silent, IR/UV invisible homing beacon allowing them to come because it opens a portal between the signal source and the signal destination, sending them a reasonable but timely distance away from the source."
Galvatron's face just turned from mad to furious. In a quick motion, he grabbed Perceptor, turned his cannon/sword around so that it was ready to fire, and activated a small energo dagger.
"Take another step and your friend gets it Optimus. Then neither party will have the information. This blade is coated in a venom that wreaks havocs on the systems and causes an immediate and permanant stasis lock on the body."
Everybody was about to move, but Optimus held them back. "No. Perceptor, don't worry. We'll get you out of here. Galvatron, let's talk about the fact that if neither party has the information..."
While Optimus was talking, Landmine silently slid his cable and attached it around Perceptor's foot from behind since he and Blaster were done with Six Shot, and Blaster had his crew come out in stealth mode.
"...stale mate. Now, we can either just let you kill him, which I'm not going to allow, or we can...NOW!"
In a quick motion, Galvatron was pounced upon by four small Autobots and Blaster, and in the process, Perceptor was pulled out from under and tossed over to be cought by Optimus.
"Oh. Thank Primus you cought me Optimus. If you hadn't, I would have..."
"Not now Perceptor. Everybody, MOVE OUT!"
Everybody transformed and moved out, with Perceptor and Blaster hitching rides on Landmine and Rodimus.
Galvatron got up, dazed, and with help from Six Shot. "Galvatron, they're gone. We lost."
Galvatron smacked him aside and looked at the portal closing. Clenching his teeth he said "I will get you someday Optimus. Maybe not now, but some...day!"
End Chapter 9

Kicker rolled his eyes at his partners usual stupid questions. "Isn't it obvious Ironhide. He's worried about Perceptor. From what Jetfire told me, Perceptor taught Wheeljack half of what he knows. There's usually a special bond between student and master, and when the master's in trouble, the student's angry."
"Kicker, I understood most of that, but you lost at the whole master-student thing."
"Argh, blow it out your exhuast pipes."

"Thanks for the upgrade Ratchet. My beat is now beating faster and with the new sub woofer system, I can really shake it."
"Glad you like it Blaster."Â Optimus said coming into the room.
"Hey Optimus. What's shakin' 'bot?"
"I need to ask you, was there anything important that Perceptor knew as to why the Decepticons would want him?"
"Hmm. Well, he was going on about some thing involving Energon infusion at safe tolerable levels and how he hoped that it would give us an advantage. But I did my usual routine and just started jamming until we entered Earth's atmosphere."
"Hmm. We have Energon stars, what could he have been talking about?"

Meanwhile at Decepticon HQ, they were strapping down Perceptor for the hard drive wipe.
"You should be honored Perceptor. You're the first Autobot I've allowed in this base. And you'll be the last. Now, about that information."
Struggling in his contained position, Perceptor finally stopped and looked at Megatron with some calm anger reflected towards him. "You'll never get away with this Megatron. My hard drive is encoded at the moment, and the Autobots will find me."
"Don't make me laugh Perceptor. Right now, it's just you, me, and Six Shot." Turning to Sixshot, he nodded his head.
"Right. Now, make sure to scream Autobot."
"I'd say the same to you in about two seconds."
BOOM!
The smoke cleared, and standing there were Blaster, Optimus in his new Super Mode (which looked exactly like his old one, just the vehicles were more powerful versions), Wheeljack, Landmine, and Rodimus.
"All right Galvatron. Let's Perceptor go." Optimus said.
"What! How did you find us?"
Perceptor jumped off the table, because Landmine and Blaster were dealing with Six Shot and he had cut himself out.
"You can thank me Galvatron. Do you remember when I stopped stuggling. It's because I activated a silent, IR/UV invisible homing beacon allowing them to come because it opens a portal between the signal source and the signal destination, sending them a reasonable but timely distance away from the source."
Galvatron's face just turned from mad to furious. In a quick motion, he grabbed Perceptor, turned his cannon/sword around so that it was ready to fire, and activated a small energo dagger.
"Take another step and your friend gets it Optimus. Then neither party will have the information. This blade is coated in a venom that wreaks havocs on the systems and causes an immediate and permanant stasis lock on the body."
Everybody was about to move, but Optimus held them back. "No. Perceptor, don't worry. We'll get you out of here. Galvatron, let's talk about the fact that if neither party has the information..."
While Optimus was talking, Landmine silently slid his cable and attached it around Perceptor's foot from behind since he and Blaster were done with Six Shot, and Blaster had his crew come out in stealth mode.
"...stale mate. Now, we can either just let you kill him, which I'm not going to allow, or we can...NOW!"
In a quick motion, Galvatron was pounced upon by four small Autobots and Blaster, and in the process, Perceptor was pulled out from under and tossed over to be cought by Optimus.
"Oh. Thank Primus you cought me Optimus. If you hadn't, I would have..."
"Not now Perceptor. Everybody, MOVE OUT!"
Everybody transformed and moved out, with Perceptor and Blaster hitching rides on Landmine and Rodimus.
Galvatron got up, dazed, and with help from Six Shot. "Galvatron, they're gone. We lost."
Galvatron smacked him aside and looked at the portal closing. Clenching his teeth he said "I will get you someday Optimus. Maybe not now, but some...day!"

“Galvatron do you think they have any clue as to just exactly what it is they are bringing back with them?�
“No Starscream not yet but I’m sure they see the results soon enough.�
“Yes I’m sure they will sir. I’m sure they will. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!�

Back at the Autobots’ main base in Ocean City.
“So Perceptor how do you feel?�
“Nothing too unusual Optimus. Just an odd feeling not sure what it is yet.�
“Well we’ll have Wheeljack take a look at you.� Optimus said looking to Wheeljack and Ratchet. The two of them knew that something had to have happened when Perceptor had been taken by the Decepticons.
“Perceptor are you sure you were conscious the whole time?�
“Uncertain however I’m relatively sure I was…However not totally sure.�
“Well it looks like we’re going to have to do a full system diagnostic.�
“Sounds good to me guys get it done. I want a full report A.S.A.P.�

Later that night after Wheeljack and Ratchet get done Perceptor walks through the halls of the bowels of the base by himself. When he hears a voice. From some where.
“So you thought you were free of us hmm Perceptor?�
“What?!?! Who said that!�
“What I’m hurt you don’t remember your old friend Sixshot?�
Perceptor draws his weapon.
“Sixshot where are you, you scum bag.�
“Why I’m right here.�
“Where, where are you!?!?!�
“Why I’m INSIDE of your head. You don’t really think a Decepticon can get past the Autobots defenses.�
“What you’re inside of ME!?!�
“Well not really you see you WILL soon be a Decepticon and there is nothing you can do about it. Don’t bother trying to tell anyone. Since as soon as you try your voice box will shut down and then all of your systems will start to fail. Then the Autobots will put you under close observation, and the D. virus will infect them one by one until they all turn.�
“How, how can I stop this?�
“Just give us the info we want from the computers in the War Room and you’ll be free to go.�
“What’s the catch you’ve got to be pulling something else. What’s your other string?�
“String? No strings. The best puppeteers don’t use strings they control the mind of not only the puppet but the audience as well.�
“Sixshot that’s enough playing!�
“What now? Who are you?�
“Perceptor please don’t insult your new boss. D. virus engage!�
“What NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!AHHHHHHNOOOOOOOOOO!...Ah yes Galvatron sir you will have all that you desire. Just let me know what you want�
“All in time Perceptor. All in time. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!�

Days pass with out incident. When suddenly Perceptor enters the War Room and hacks into the most top secret classified files laughing maniacally the whole time.
“Perceptor what in Primus name do you think you’re doing!?!�
“Ah Optimus do you realize how big of a fool you are? You still haven’t learned after all of this time that Galvatron doesn’t let the Autobots go without at least trying to kill you. Didn’t you realize that?�
“Perceptor? Is that really you?�
“But of course Optimus however I’m no longer the same good old bot that worked beside your father. I’m now a Decepticon.�
“No this can’t be!�
“Oh but it is Optimus. Don’t worry though I’m done here so I’m going back to Galvatron.�
“Perceptor what is that?�
“Oh just a few top secret files. Oh you know specs for this designs for that blueprints for the bases. How to stabilize super energon for the majority of us Cybertronians.�
“I won’t let you leave with that!�
“Oh I think you will you see if anyone touches me they will immediately be infected with the D. virus turning them into Decepticons.�
“No that can’t be true.�
Perceptor smirked at Optimus and smugly replied “Oh it’s true and if you really want to find out then pull that trigger. If not then you’ll just let me walk out right now.�
Reluctantly Optimus allowed Perceptor to go. Wondering the whole time if such a virus did exist. If any of the other Autobots had been infected or if even Optimus himself had been infected.
