I am making a set of 12" dolls based on the Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers

I thought i'd show everyone the Z-100 horse i completed today.

It's made from a 1979 lone ranger horse.
the face is from some plastic toy car i cut off the top of it and cut the face off the horse and merged then together.

the mane and tail are fake fur i had from other projects and other various plastic parts for gears and stuff.

Galaxy rangers?

I LOVED THAT CARTOON!! Shane Gooseman rocked!!! And i also loved the other characters too. i can't remember all their names, but i know that Shane had some sort of morphing power, the group leader had a bionic arm that could fire energy, the girl in their group ('neko' i think her name was) was empathic/telepathic, and Doc hartford could build/cure anything.

not bad for someone who can't remember too good.

I very much want to see your progress with this, Soundgear! And if you need ANy help, let me know. i specialize in building 12' figures.

Maybe I'm confusing this with another show.

Is it the one with the space cowboy dressed in a yellow shirt with a white cowboy hat?
Soundgear
will do..i am making the body suits out of spandex and white leather.
and i hope to find some cowboy hats that dont look big and goofy like most small hats for figures i have seen.
I need to figure a way to make a badge for thier suits..i think i have some small gold star buttons that should work as a badge.

Your thinking of Bravstar I think.

Here's a link with a group shot og the Galaxy Rangers.

Btw ..they just released two DVD's of the show. they are remasterd and very nice.

Bravestar was a spinoff of that show...

I still have Bravestar with his hat and backpack...

Cool, GR was my second favorite cartoon of the '80s. I seem to recall it was surprisingly violent for the times - I vaguely remember actual people getting killed when some bad guys robbed a museum or something on Mars (but maybe they were just robots, too old... memory failing).

Glad to hear they released some DVDs, I thought that show was too obscure to ever see the light of day again.

Your right, it was Bravestar.

Bravestar was okay too, but Galaxy Rangers really held my interest. The whole storyline was well thought out for an 80's cartoon, and the characters were cool. Maybe they should consider reviving that series.
