I believe the hands were from a gundam.... I think it was from Master Gundam.

Doomtron had a great concept - but with like many customs it needed some paint touch ups and stuff. But I am really happy with it overall. The hands really give it more of a evil scheme.

I like the new bio - can I use it? I also wouldn't mind trying to do some 'aura' effects on photoshop, and some ball lightning or fire effects on the hands, (like Akuma from SF) but I really don't have the skills for it.

Here is my feeble attempt at using some spare parts to accomplish some "evil energy":

Bio:

Darkstar, whose spark was created by the defeat of Galvatron after he was destroyed by Optimus Prime, has risen from the ashes as the biggest threat ever to face the Transformers. The unholy partnership of evil that was Galvatron and Unicron have been fused into Starscream's dormant spark after he was defeated by the power of Primus. Galvatron's life force, (including Unicron's evil influence) and the Omega Lock power surge process have all been combined inside Starscream's reformatted body, resulting in immeasurable dark energies which theoretically could be stronger than Primus himself. Conventional tech specs cannot begin to measure his enormous new power.

Darkstar has transcended past Starscream's petty desires for Decepticon leadership and futile skirmishes with the Autobots. Darkstar has now replaced Unicron as the evil anti-thesis of Primus, and now roams throughout the galaxy extinguishing entire galaxies in the blink of an eye to practice his new destructive power; he does not possess the requirement to siphon energy for his own survival as Unicron did. Darkstar plans to return to Cybertron and overthrow Primus only after he has mastered these abilities - and to claim his place as the new dark lord of the universe.

Weapons:

Darkstar posesses the ability to control raw evil energy at will, and exudes this force from his fingertips in the form of "force blasts". Consequently, Darkstar has abandoned his conventional weapons, as he no longer requires them in battle.

Weaknesses:

One trait that Darkstar has retained from his Starscream persona is his arrogance, which has been exponentially increased due to his new powers. This can overshadow his military strategist training and can cloud his judgement when faced with an opponent.

Sounds kewl. Nearly reminds me of The Fallen from War Within. Btw the opposite of measurable is "immeasurable."

I was sitting watching TV when they showed that shot of king kong fighting the t-rex and I looked over at my "Monster" shelf where I keep all my sci-fi monsters and dinos and thought a MP Prime vs T-Rex would be fun. Then i took a few other pics as well.

unfortunately primus' finger joints are too loose to grab it firmly like galaxy convoy did, but at least he can double-wield it unlike god fire convoy...

the pictures came out darker then they looked on the LCD on my camera, Im gonna re-do them tomorrow night once my batteries are recharged. and I'll set the shutter speed to stay open for 15 seconds, instead of only 10 seconds.

its pitch black outside when I took those pics. all there is, is a street light down the road for lighting. that's why they are so dark

Okay, here's what I hope will be the first of many -- Transformers Martial Arts poses!

Here is a pic of Masterpiece Convoy demonstrating the eight basic stances used in Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu. Note the following:
* Please don't badger me about other Mantis stances that aren't pictured here. These are the stances from the Dabamabu ("Eight Great Horse Stances") form. I'm well aware that Praying Mantis has other stances outside of these core 8 (although those stances are all derived from these essential 8 stances anyway).
* Yes, I'm aware that the stances are not exact. It's being demonstrated by a toy - and despite Masterpiece Convoy's articulation, he's no where near as well articulated as a human. These are as accurate as I could get the stances to look given the relatively limited articulation on the toy. I broke this toy in several bits just trying to get it into a proper riding horse stance... in the end I got sick of picking the bits up and fixing the toy, so I just went with an approximation. All of these stances are just approximations. (-_-)
* Note that most stances have multiple various names, for example the horse stance is also known as the riding horse stance, the bow and arrow stance is also known as the climbing the mountain stance and the circle entering step is also known as the Jade Ring stance. I'm just using the stance names that I was taught and tend to generally use myself. I'm well aware that variant names exist for all these stances, thank you. A stance by any other name would still kick some ass.

Stance names are listed below...



The stances are (left to right, top to bottom):
1. Horse stance.
2. Bow and arrow stance.
3. Empty step.
4. Single leg stance.
5. Side stance.
6. Jade ring stance.

Rather than merely opening the shutter longer,why not try to touch up the photos in Photoshop for color correction and balance?

This is by far one of the most awsome transformers figures ever.

I pose mine with both arm weapons fully extended and place the smaller blue gun in the peg beneath the one barrel. Either that or place it on one his treads as a secondary weapon if ever needed.

I wanted to try to keep them un-doctored as much as possible. Keeping them more natural, ya know?

Yeah, I can understand that. For better or worse, you want to exhibit your photography skills without "cheating" with photoshop. Or you could be like me and not know how to use Photoshop (I don't even own a copy) - I still doctor my pics with MS Paint!

One of those shots of MP Prime I took was doctored with MS Paint. Can you spot which one?

i decided to make fun of my fat cat, so a pic with loc Megatron and Scourge seemed funny to me. I couldn't think of a funny quote that fit though. I didn't notice that one eye was lit up and her other one wasn't
